LIMITED WARRANTY

This product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free
from defects in materials and workmanship under normal installation, use and
service for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase as shown on the
purchaser’s receipt.

The obligation of Rolls Corporation under this warranty shall be limited
to repair or replacement (at our option), during the warranty period of any part
which proves defective in material or workmanship under normal installation, use
and service, provided the product is returned to Rolls Corporation, TRANSPOR­TATION CHARGES PREPAID. Products returned to us or to an authorized Service
Center must be accompanied by a copy of the purchase receipt. In the absence of
such purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be one (1) year from the date of
manufacture.

This warranty shall be invalid if the product is damaged as a result of
defacement, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, destruction or alteration of the serial
number, improper electrical voltages or currents, repair, alteration or maintenance
by any person or party other than our own service facility or an authorized Service
Center, or any use violative of instructions furnished by us.

This one-year warranty is in lieu of all expressed warranties, obligations
or liabilities. ANY IMPLIED W ARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL
BE LIMITED IN DURA TION T O THE ONE YEAR DURATION OF THIS
WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

The MB15 converts stereo consumer level sig­nals to professional line level signals - and vice
versa.
It may also serve as a balanced inline level
control by patching the four RCA jacks together.

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for y our purchase of the MB15 ProMatch Stereo Dual Con­verter. Specifically, the MB15 converts consumer lev el stereo RCA signals
to balanced XLR professional line lev el - and back.
One side of the unit, labeled 1, has two XLR inputs and a stereo RCA
output. The other side, labeled 2, has stereo RCA inputs and two XLR
outputs.
Each side has a level control, and a front panel LED indicates when the
unit is on.

DESCRIPTION

REAR P ANEL
+4 dB IN LEFT and RIGHT XLR jacks: Female XLR jacks to be con­nected to the output of a professional line-lev el device such as a sound
reinforcement mixing board or recording device .
+4 dB OUT LEFT and RIGHT XLR jacks: Male XLR jac ks to be con­nected to the input of a professional line-lev el device such as a mixer or
recording device.

FRONT PANEL

-10 OUT Stereo RCA jacks: F or connection to the input of a consumer
level device such as a cassette or CD player.

-10 IN Stereo RCA jacks: F or connection to the output of a consumer
level device such as a cassette or CD player.
LEVEL 1: Adjusts the signal le v el of channel one , or the +4 dB IN to -10
dB OUT channel.
LEVEL 2: Adjusts the signal le v el of channel tw o, or the -10 dB IN to +4
dB OUT channel.
PWR LED: Indicates that pow er is applied to the MB15.
12 VDC jack: For connection to the Rolls PS27 12 Volt DC power supply.
The outside of the jack (barrel) is positive, the inside is negativ e .

CONSUMER LEVEL VS PR OFESSIONAL LEVEL
The purpose of the MB15 is to connect consumer level equipment to
professional lev el equipment. An explanation of these are addressed here.
Consumer level signals typically come from de vices such as camcorders ,
cassette decks, CD play ers, and home video players. Prof essional le v el
signals are associated with devices found in recording studios and sound
reinforcement systems like mixing boards, signal processors , and their
associated amplifiers.
