LIMITED WARRANTY
This product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from
defects in materials and workmanship under normal installation, use and service for a
period of one (1) year from the date of purchase as shown on the purchaser’s receipt.
The obligation of Rolls Corporation under this warranty shall be limited to repair
or replacement (at our option), during the warranty period of any part which proves
defective in material or workmanship under normal installation, use and service, provided
the product is returned to Rolls Corporation, TRANSPORTATION CHARGES PREPAID. Products returned to us or to an authorized Service Center must be accompanied by
a copy of the purchase receipt. In the absence of such purchase receipt, the warranty
period shall be one (1) year from the date of manufacture.
This warranty shall be invalid if the product is damaged as a result of defacement, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, destruction or alteration of the serial number,
improper electrical voltages or currents, repair, alteration or maintenance by any person or
party other than our own service facility or an authorized Service Center, or any use

Thank you for purchasing the RFX962 TWIN SPIN Instrument Stereo Chorus.
The 962 is a unique stereo chorus that allows you to switch between tw o modulation speeds yielding a rich, rotating speaker type effect. The unit provides full,
smooth sounding chorusing and is also useful for splitting your signal into stereo.
To achieve the best results from your RFX962, please read the following manual
carefully. We sincerely hope you enjoy this product.
INSPECTION
1. Unpac k and Inspect the RFX962 pac kage .
Your RFX962 was carefully packed at the f actory in a protective carton. Nonetheless, be sure to examine the unit and the carton for any signs of damage that ma y
have occurred during shipping. If ob vious ph ysical damage is noticed, contact the
carrier immediately to make a damage claim. We suggest saving the shipping
carton and packing materials for safely transporting the unit in the future.
2. Complete the Warranty Registration Card and return it to the factory.
DESCRIPTION
FOOTPAD 1: Switches the chorus effect between Speed 1 and Speed 2.
FOOTPAD 2: Switches the RFX962 between Chorus and bypass modes.
CONNECTION
AC AD APTER INPUT : For use with the optional ROLLS PS27 Po wer Supply; 12
VDC, 150 mA, tip negative .
INSTRUMENT INPUT : 1/4" phone jack for an instrument level signal.
OUTPUTS: 1/4" phone jacks to be connected to other pedals , a recording de vice ,
or an amplifier.
NOTE: Unique to the RFX series of effects pedals is the ability of the output jack
to be used as a headphone output.

CONTROL DESCRIPTIONS
SPD 1 LED: Indicates which speed control is selected. When lit, the modulation
speed is controlled by SPD1, otherwise the modulation speed is controlled by
SPD2.
CHORUS LED: Indicates the RFX962's operation status. When lit, the eff ect is on,
when the LED is off - the effect is bypassed.
DEPTH: Adjusts the dela y time setting of the modulation circuit. Turning this
control clockwise increases this delay time, thereb y making the eff ect deeper and
more full.
RATE: Controls the amount of time taken to switch from Speed 1 to Speed 2.
Turning this control clockwise increases this time.
SPEED 1: Controls the first speed of the chorusing effect, when the SPD1 LED is
lit.
SPEED 2: Controls the second speed of the chorusing effect, when the SPD1 led
is off.

BATTERY REPLA CEMENT
The battery will need to be replaced when the unit will not switch on and off, or
when the SPD 1 and CHORUS LEDs will not go completely out.
To change the battery, remov e the battery compartment cover and replaced with a
9-volt (alkaline preferred) battery. The battery cov er should be put bac k in place
with the extending flange toward the output side of the pedal.
Completely remove the battery if the unit is being operated with an external power
supply (ROLLS PS27), or if the unit is not going to be used for an e xtended period
of time.
