GENERAL INFORMATION

Important Information

Before operating this vehicle, please read all instructions. This manual will guide you through the functions, usage, and proper care of your Roller-Pro Urban E­Scooter. If you have any questions or cannot find the information you need in the manual, please contact your place of purchase or our customer service center. Before contacting customer service, please have your purchase information ready as this may be needed during the call. This information may be recorded below.
It is important that you follow all safety warnings that appear throughout this manual and exercise good judgment when using your Roller-Pro Urban E- scooter. Consult this manual before attempting to ride.
Within this manual, “the Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter”, “your Roller-Pro Urban E­Scooter”, “your scooter” and “the scooter” refer to the Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter. The Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter is a personal scooter that uses electrical power. By riding the Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter, the user acknowledges and accepts responsibility for all risks associated with the use of the scooter which may include, but are not limited to, muscle injuries, broken bones, lacerations, serious injury, and possible death, which may be sustained while using the Roller-Pro
Urban E-Scooter.

Safety Warnings

To better ensure your safety, ALWAYS USE APPROPRIATE PROTECTIVE GEAR, read and follow all instructions and warnings in the User Manual.
Appropriate protective gear should always be worn at all times
Use the Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter at your own risk. ROLLER-PRO shall not be held responsible for accidents due to poor judgment.
When reading this manual, note these icons:
Notes with this icon MUST be read, understood, and obeyed to Prevent injury or damage, etc. Notes with this icon include relevant information.
Properly dispose of all packaging material. Some items may be packed in
plastic bags or other material and may cause suffocation or injury to pets or children.
Keep the packaging in a safe place in case it needs to be used later for
transportation.
Verify that all parts of the product are available. If any part is missing, contact Roller Pro customer service center. If any ports or cables or surrounding parts are damaged, do not use the product.
Always use the original accessories supplied. Charge your Urban E-scooter using the included charger. The use of a different one could cause failures in the product and invalidate its warranty.
Always use appropriate clothing when riding the urban E-Scooter. In order to avoid any injury, it is always recommendable to use knee pads, elbow pads, gloves.
Do not use the product if your weight less than 20Kg or exceed 120 Kg.
Do not attempt to open or modify your Urban E-scooter as doing so will void the manufacturer´s warranty and could lead to serious injuries or death.
Do not use your Urban E-scooter in situations or places where you can cause danger or an accident to people around you.
Never ride your Urban E-scooter under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Do not ride in case you are tired.
Do not ride your Urban E-Scooter in ramps, curbs, slopes, slippery surfaces or try to perform acrobatics or tricks. This can cause serious injuries.
Always use your Urban E-scooter in a smooth way. Do not be aggressive as this can cause failure or an accident.
Do not use your Urban E-scooter in wet areas where water is present, muddy places, sandy places or stony roads.
Do not ride your Urban E-scooter during bad or stormy weather. Example: Rain, snow, hail, frost, fog, extreme heat.
Never insert objects into the product other than the cables etc. as described in this manual.
Be very careful when allowing children or elderly people use the product. These people may not have the physical abilities necessary to drive safely.
Respect always all the traffic signals and make sure you observe the direction in which you are riding your Urban E-scooter. Always be careful of pedestrians or nearby people and objects.
Do not ride your Urban E-scooter while talking on the phone, writing a message or conversing with someone. This could cause an accident.
Do not ride your Urban E-scooter on highways, bicycle lane, bus lane, near cars. It is important you check the local laws before starting to use your E­scooter.
If the product is to be used by children, the caregiver should explain the
contents of the user manual to the children. The caregiver should provide adequate supervision to ensure that the device is being used as explained in the user manual.
Risk of shock! Do not allow water and/or liquids to come in contact with any part of the product. Use dry, non-abrasive cloth to remove debris or dust. Do not spray liquids onto the product.
Never submerge the product or any of the product’s components and/or accessories into water. Do not ride over stairs.
Do not allow more than one person on the scooter at a time. Do not jump on the E-scooter.
People with a lack of balance or pregnant should not use this product.
Be very careful when allowing children or elderly people use the product. These people may not have the necessary Physical abilities to drive safely.
Always calculate the distance required for braking. The Urban E-scooter employs an electronic brake which reacts gradually. Therefore, it is extremely important to apply the brakes on time in order to avoid any collision.
Do not ride your Urban E-scooter in dark areas where there is no light.
Do not place your feet in any other area besides the inferior base where you are supposed to have them.
Always avoid riding through potholes or stony roads as this will deteriorate the E-scooter parts and will cause failures.
The product shall only be used as described in this manual.
When not in use, cover the E-scooter to protect it from dust. Do not store it in a dusty environment, humid, as this may cause damage over time.

1.3 Disposal at End-of-Life

This product must not be disposed of by incineration, landfilling, or mixing with household trash. Improper disposal of the battery contained within this product may result in the battery heating up, rupturing, or igniting which may cause serious injuries. The substances contained inside the battery present chemical risks to the environment. The
recommended disposal for ROLLER-PRO®Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter at its end-of-life is to dispose of the entire unit at or through an e-waste recycling center, program, or facility. Local regulations and laws pertaining to the recycling and disposal of lithium-ion batteries and/or products containing them will vary according to country, state, and local governments. You must check laws and regulations corresponding to where you live in order to dispose of the battery and/or unit properly. It is the user’s responsibility to dispose of their waste equipment properly in accordance with local regulations and laws.
For additional information about where you should drop off your batteries and electrical or electronic waste, please contact your local or regional waste management office, your household waste disposal service, or your point-of-sale.

2.3 Buttons Information

The Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter’s display features several different elements. Be sure you understand these before attempting to ride.
Power: Press and hold approx. 3~5 seconds to turn the scooter on/ off. Quick press to check the battery level.
Cruise Control: Press to turn cruise control on/off. Maintain speed for ~5 seconds to use this feature.

Display Information

KMH
MODE: Press to switch between modes 1, 2, and 3. Each gear has different speed. Gear 1’s max. is 7 km/h, Gear 2’s is 15 Km/h, and Gear 3’s is 24 Km/h.
Headlight: Press to turn the headlight on/off.
- This icon indicates the remaining battery life.
Speedometer - These numbers indicate the current speed. Readings are measured in Km/h
MODE 1, 2, 3: Displays the current speed mode.
: This icon indicates cruise control’s status i.e. on/off.
: This icon indicates the headlight’s status i.e. on/off.
Gear speeds are approximate. Actual speed may vary due to terrain, rider weight, and/or other factors.
When the battery level is low, stop riding, turn off the scooter, and fully recharge it before riding again.

3.1
Assembling the Handlebars

3.2 Standing the Scooter

1. Locate the kickstand on the side of the scooter’s deck.
2. Push the kickstand down and away from the scooter then carefully
Make sure the Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter is turned off before working with any of its parts. The scooter comes mostly assembled within the package. Some minor assembly is required before riding. All parts and tools are included.
Before installing the handlebars, please check each for a small letter to indicate which side of the scooter the handle should be attached to. is for the left side while R is for the right side. Screw in each handle and make sure everything is securely attached.

Folding & Unfolding the Scooter

1. Pull the folding latch down to loosen tension on the stem. Next, pull the stem down towards the deck.
2. Make sure the key screw on the handle bars locks into the keyhole on the rear fender.
3. To unfold the scooter, gently pull out the key screw from the rear fender keyhole, then pull up the stem away from the
deck. When the stem is fully unfolded, it will automatically lock back into place.
Before moving, lifting, or transport the scooter, ensure it is turned off.

CHARGING

4.1 How to Charge

Step 1. Ensure the scooter is turned off before
charging and remains off while charging.
Step 2. Locate the charging port below the USB port on
the scooter’s stem and remove the cap if needed.

Step 3. Use the supplied charger and the charging port to connect the scooter
Step 4. While the scooter is charging, the adapter’s indicator light will turn red.

If charging for the first time, charge the scooter for at least 3 hours before using it. Make sure the E-scooter is turned off.
Do not use any other charger than the one which is supplied with your Urban E­scooter. If you use any other charger, it will cause failure and the warranty will be void

the charger.
Do not, under any circumstances, use the E-scooter while it is connected to the charger.
Do not charge longer than necessary. Standard charging time is approx. 3 hours. Charging longer than this may affect the battery life and/or performance.
To maximize the battery life, charge it once every other month or once a week after riding. This process is very important for the battery to keep running.
Charge preferably in places away from flammable products.
Monitor and control the charging process (Do not exceed the recommended charging time)
Do not charge your E-scooter at night while you are sleeping.
If your E-scooter has been exposed to High or low temperatures, wait until it has been cooled down before charging.

USAGE

Read the following information before attempting to ride your Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter.
A helmet as well as other protective gear must be worn at all times
The Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter supports up to 120 kg. Do not carry passengers.
Only operate the Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter where permitted. Local laws may restrict where you may ride.
The Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter contains a motor and may be classified as a motor vehicle under local laws in your
area. It is your responsibility to abide by any local laws restricting how or where you may ride.

Cleaning

Do not perform any maintenance when the power is on, or the battery is charging.
After each ride, especially if you have traveled a long distance, inspect your scooter.
Tire wear and tear is normal. The rate at which the tires deteriorate depends on riding style i.e. casual riding may
yield minimal wear while performance and/or heavy drifting may yield excessive wear. To purchase tire

The Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter may need cleaning after riding for extended periods of time.
Completely power off the scooter before cleaning.
Use dry, non-abrasive cloth to gently remove debris or dust.
The Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter should not come in contact with any kind of liquid. Never use alcohol or ammonia-
based cleaning solutions.
Never spray liquid directly onto any part of the scooter.

Storage

To store the Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter, see the following information below:

6.3 Transportation

Before storing, fully charge the Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter to prevent battery over-discharge due to non-use. If storing for more than one month, discharge and recharge the battery at least once a month. If not, the battery will lose its capacity after some time.
Cover the Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter to protect it from dust or humidty. Do not store in a dusty or humid environ ment as this may cause damage over time.
Do not store the scooter in cold places, shed, or other location with extreme temperature fluctuations.
Before moving, lifting, or transporting the scooter, turn it off. Fold the scooter (see Section 3.3 for instructions) and pull the scooter along.

USING THE APP

7.1 Download the APP

The Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter includes a Bluetooth chipset and therefore allows you to track and monitor certain data through the Roller pro APP. Please download the APP “Roller Pro” from the app store or play store.

Once you have downloaded the APP correctly, you should see this on your handheld
device:
1. Press the Bluetooth icon located on the top left side of your mobile.
2. The device application will start to search for the Urban E-scooter.
3. Once Urban E-Scooter appears on the display, press on it to pair your mobile device
with the Urban.
The Bluetooth icon will also appear on your Urban E-scooter. Now your scooter is paired to your mobile device.
Once your Urban E-scooter is paired with your mobile device, you will come across the following screen:

TDC – Total Distance Covered

Trip – Total Distance for the current trip

Remain – Distance left before battery can run out

Battery – Battery charge level.

Click on the settings button (Top Right button) and the following options will show up:

Settings:

- Change your E-scooters name:

Click on this option to rename your Roller-Pro Urban E-Scooter to any other preferred name.

- Change Bluetooth’s password:

Change the password to any other and easy for you to remember.

- Change between MPH/KPH

Select in which metric form you wish to read your data.

- Set the Maximum speed (Km/h)

- System information of E-Scooter

Note: MPH speed can only be viewed through the APP.
Set the maximum speed at which you would like the E-scooter to go at when using it. Example: If set at 2ndGear, the max speed will not exceed 15 Kmh.
Enter into this option to see the version of the firmware.

- System self-check information

This option is especially useful to find out if your E-scooter has any malfunction or not. Click on this option and run the check by following the on-screen instructions.

Roller Pro

- This option contains information about the brand “Roller Pro”

Access this option to view the user manual if you have misplaced the hard copy provided in the box.

Use this option before contacting the technical department as the solution to your query may be in the frequently asked questions.
After Sales
If any problem with your Urban E-Scooter, you will need to contact Roller Pro technical department for a solution. Send an email mentioning your personal details and the actual problem and Roller pro will respond within 24-48 hours.

If a number appears on the screen of the Urban E-scooter, check the table below for possible failure. Stop using the E-scooter and contact the "Roller Pro" customer service center for a proper attention.
