COMPACTLINE 202
VERSATILE, COLORFUL
The top model in the Compactline series is ideal for
beginners or everyday photographers, as it is particularly easy to use. Neither is the Compactline 202 short
on visual attractions: the colours in which the Rollei
camera case is available range from pink via violet and
silver to titanium.
It is also distinguished by an especially flat case which
is less than 19 millimetres in depth and can therefore
easily fit into a tight jeans pocket.
Advanced amateur photographers will be attracted
by Rollei’s specially developed Apogon lens with 3×
optical zoom and a classical focal length range of 35
to 105 millimetres. An image sensor with a resolution
of 10 megapixels allows for generous reserves when
printing image data or enlarged clips.
The high-quality three-inch display and countless motif programs (such as face and smile detection) guarantee great photos and fantastic snapshots in almost
any situation. The Compactline 202 costs 149.95 Euro (RRP).

JACK-OF-ALL-TRADES
The Compactline 102 is particularly impressive with its
28 different motif programs – here the photographer
is simply spoilt for choice. Whether night-time, sport,
beach, portrait, landscape, panorama or many other
kinds of shots – this compact Rollei camera always
has the right motif setting to hand.
The camera uses a CCD image sensor with a nominal resolution of approximately 10 megapixels, and the
focal length of its Rollei lens extends from 35 to 105
millimetres.
The Compactline 102 can store videos with a high resolution of 720 × 400 pixels. Considering the high-definition films, it makes sense to integrate large storage
media: where required, the Compactline 102 uses
modern SDHC (SecureDigital High Capacity) cards
with a gigantic capacity of up to 32 gigabytes.

FLExLINE 250
THE FLEXLINE 250
BRINGS TOGETHER ALL
HIGHLIGHTS THE COMPACT CLASS CURRENTLY
HAS TO OFFER.
he Flexline 250 is a surprise in several respects,
as many of its features are unusual for this price
T
and weight category. The Apogon lens has an
optical zoom and a focal range of 34 to 170 millimetres. This is combined with one of the major highlights of the Flexline 250: optical image stabilisation.
With its movable CCD sensor and inactivity sensor,
the camera can compensate for typical wobbles on
the photographer’s part. The image stabiliser has a
particularly positive effect on the exposure tolerance:
if there is only a little ambient light, the photographer
can use longer exposure times, thus achieving a higher degree of light efficiency. Sport photos also benefit
from the reduced risk of shaking by using very long
focal lengths.
Face and smile recognition are also incorporated, as is
a large 3-inch display which makes viewing the image
data a pleasure. The camera case is largely made of
high-quality aluminium, making it very robust.
It is available in black or silver. Highly commendable:
the camera is supplied with no less than two high-performance accumulators and a special charging pod.
The Flexline 250 is available for 199 Euro (RRP).

FLExLINE 200
With its twelve megapixel image sensor, the Flexline
200 guarantees photos whose resolution is easily
sufficient for large-format prints up to A3 size. A socalled “anti-shake function” helps prevent wobbling
in poor light, and with features such as
high ISO sensitivity optimises exposure
times so perfectly that there is barely
any chance of shaking. With its 21 motif programs (including face and smile
detection), the Flexline 200 provides
optimum settings for various photographic situations.
The camera can simply be connected
to a PictBridge-enabled printer using a
USB interface, thus dispensing with the
need for a PC as an intermediary. The
images can be viewed on the large three-inch display
and then printed directly from the camera.
All Flexline models are supplied with a second accumulator. A comparable feature is practically unheard
of from the self-proclaimed “premium manufacturers”
of other camera brands. The Flexline 200 from Rollei
is available from dealers for 169.95 Euro (RRP).

As a beginner’s model, the Flexline 140 is no way behind the others in the series. With a case depth of less
than 20 millimetres, it is one of the flattest compact
digital cameras – all the more astonishing considering the 4x zoom factor of the Apogon lens. With focal
lengths of 30 to 128 millimetres and a maximum reso-
lution of 10 megapixels, this camera also offers plenty
of creative scope helping to familiarise the user with
countless photographic situations – from wide-angle
shots of architecture to attractive portraits. The Flexline 140 is available for 129 Euro (retail price).

SMALL AND GREAT
MOVIELINE SD-10
THIS CAMCORDER
IS AS PRACTICAL AS
IT IS SMALL. IT ALSO
RECORDS VIDEOS IN
HIGH HD QUALITY.
he SD-10 camcorder is the top model in the
Rollei Movieline series, and also offers techni-
T
cal features which bear comparison with those
of any digital camera: for example a strong CMOS
image sensor with ten megapixels and a pow-
erful lens with 10× optical zoom.
However, Rollei primarily designed the SD-
10 to record videos – and this with a remar-
kable drive for perfection. Apart from
the aforesaid precision optics and
the high sensor resolution, the
case also contains a fast Ambarella processor, which accounts
for the lion’s share of the image
quality and working speed of the SD-
10. The best video quality is provided by the FullHD re-
solution level, which extends to 1,920×1,080 pixels.
Unlike many digital cameras, this Rollei camcorder
can nevertheless record 30 images per second. This
ensures that no flickering or shaking is visible when
viewing the video. FullHD resolution also facilitates exploitation of the possibilities of modern TV equipment.

Thanks to the SD-10’s digital HDMI connection, photos
and videos can be portrayed on a monitor or T V without
loss and in optimum resolution without the need for diversion via a PC. Loss-free data transfer would not be
possible with the analogue video interfaces built into
many other camcorders and digital cameras. For people who despite video optimisation can’t do without a
photo or two, there is no need to buy a separate camera. The SD-10 produces photos with a resolution
of up to ten megapixels and takes macro shots from
a distance of just one
centimetre; mo-
reover, the full
focal range of the lens can also be
used in photo mode – from a slight wide-angle setting for panoramas through to a distinct tele setting for
portraits with a low depth of focus.
In view of the high video and photo resolution, it is
hardly surprising that Rollei integrated support for
high-capacity SDHC cards – along with the 256 megabyte internal memory, the SD-10 can also be upgraded to a maximum 32 gigabytes. The new Rollei
camcorder is available from dealers for 249.95 Euros
(RRP).

MOVIELINE SD-5
This new camcorder offers video and photo functions
in a compact designer case. Thanks to a high-quality Rollei lens with 5x optical zoom, there is plenty
of scope for designing your image clip. In addition, a
CMOS sensor with particularly high light efficiency
ensures image quality which is equally impressive in
photos and videos alike.
The SD-5 also comes into its own with moving images:
with FullHD resolution (1,920 × 1,080 pixels) and motion detection for optimum sharpness especially in
moving images, it is a real pleasure to view the results
on large-format TV screens.
With the HDMI connection and the HDMI cable supplied, transferring data is child’s play.
Moreover, the digital transfer of data by HDMI guarantees optimum image quality on TV equipment and monitors, should you prefer to view your videos without
going via a PC.
The SD-5, which weighs a mere 339 grams (without
battery), stores all photos and videos on SecureDigital
and high-capacity SDHC memory cards of up to 32
gigabytes.
The recommended retail price is 199.95 Euro.
MOVIELINE P5
The ultra-compact Movieline P5 camcorder is distinguished by its ergonomic design and non-slip surface.
The maximum resolution of the videos produced by
the P5 is 1,920 × 1,080 pixels. The device can be
connected to a PC or TV by HDMI which means - provided the monitor resolution is sufficient – that you
can enjoy your very own real HD films.
If you want your films to reach a wider public, you can
also use the P5’s “YouTube Direct” function.
Video sequences are stored in the right format for this
online service and can thus be made public without
difficulty.
The P5’s flat case contains a CMOS sensor with a resolution of five megapixels, thus creating brilliant photos. The three-inch display, which can be swivelled almost completely freely in any direction, ensures that
you always have everything in sight.
The recommended retail price for the Movieline P5
camcorder in 179.95 Euro.

DIAFILM-SCANNER
DF-S100 & DF-S110
HOW TO BRING SLIDE
FILMS INTO THE DIGITAL
AGE WITHOUT LOSS
any passionate photographers
who are today keen digital camera
M
users want to preserve their favourite
analogue pictures. The new Rollei DF-S100 and
DF-S110 slide film scanners digitalise precious photographic memories quickly and easily. They each have
a high-resolution CMOS sensor for this purpose.
While the DF-S100 digitalises images in resolutions of
up to 1,800 dpi, the DF-S110 reaches no less than
3,600 dpi. Thanks to single-pass scan methods and
LED lights which reach optimum performance immediately after the device is switched on, the scanning
process is extremely fast. With optimum settings, a
slide can be digitalised in less than one second. Each
scanner is also fitted with a 2.4-inch colour display for
viewing the photos, and is connected to PCs by USB.
Incidentally, digitalised photos can also be stored directly on SecureDigital cards. The DF-S110 costs
149.95 Euro, the DF-S100 only 129.95 Euro (recommended retail prices).
PhOTO SCANNER P-S100
Now both owners of large slide archives and paper
image collectors can breathe a sigh of relief: photos
measuring up to 13 × 18 centimetres can be digitalised using the photo scanner from Rollei.
The CMOS sensor reaches a resolution of up to 3,600
dpi, thus guaranteeing high-quality digital photos.
It is especially suited for all kinds of paper photos;
however, it also accepts other paper-like images. You
can choose whether to store your images on the PC
or on SD cards. The photo scanner is supplied with a
cleaning brush and scanning software.
