REAC (Roland Ethernet Audio Communication) is Roland’s original technology. REAC transfers 40x40 of 24-bit uncompressed multi channel audio, level information, and control data over a single cat5e cable. This digital transfer system eliminates the typical problems found in analog transfer such as signal quality degradation or hums and buzzes. REAC provides not only superb sound quality but also is easy to install and cost effective using light-weight Cat5e cable.

supplied to compatible devices such as the S-0808.

Live Stage Mixing Snake System (32x32)

Use four S-0808 units around the stage and merge the I/O back to the master FOH I/O unit connected to the digital mixing console. Distribute the S-0808 units in the most convenient locations next to drum riser, keyboard area, background vocals,etc.

16x16 Self-Powered Digital Snake

Using the S-4000M in "THRU" mode allows 2 sets of S-0808 pairs to be used as a complete digital snake system. REAC signals travel from REAC port 1 to 2 an d REAC port 3 to 4.
