In Northern Italy, there is a place where morning mists float atop deep blue
waters, small chapels dot the rugged coastal landscape and olive trees grow
wild. Lago d’Orta, located in the Piemonte region, is one of the most romantic
lakes in all of Italy. It is here in the “Village of the Faucets,” that our Italian
Country Bath Collection finds its inspiration. Handcrafted by Italian artisans,
using traditional methods that have been practiced for generations, this
Collection comprises six distinct series: Verona, Arcana, Viaggio, Hex, Acqui
and San Julio Series all pay homage to Italy’s unique heritage.
Named for the lovely town in Italy best known as the home of Romeo
and Juliet, the Verona faucet has been designed to accompany other
dramatic ROHL products. Verona is often referred to as Venice, Italy’s little
cousin. Like Verona is to Venice, this faucet is a delightful second to the
premier packages of other ROHL Collections. Meant to be the rounding
out option for secondary spaces, Verona satiates the need for value in
baths other than the master.

Our Hex Series features an Art Deco design hexagonal
spout. Art Deco was a popular international art design
movement from 1925 until the 1940s, affecting all the
decorative arts. This style was seen as elegant, glamorous,
functional, and at the time modern. The hex spout is
available with hex or traditional handles for a classic look
for any bath.

Named for an island in pristine northern Italy, Isola di San Giulio is known
for its beautiful villas and Basilica. The island in the Italian z takes its
name from a local saint Julius of Novara, who lived in the fourth century.
As picturesque as the island, the San Julio faucet has been designed
to complement the ROHL Italian Country Bath Collection. True to its
authentic Italian origin, the craftsmen have expertly engineered the
San Julio faucet, emphasizing the design with elegant lines and precise
detailing making this a timeless addition to any bath.

ACQUI SERIES

Acqui and its hot springs have been famous since ancient times and are
some of the oldest in northern Italy. The original ultimate spa, Acqui was
an early destination for travelers looking for the healing treatments of
thermal baths. The ROHL Acqui Series Faucets were inspired by the same
luxurious environments that once graced the spas of the region. The style
is elegantly relaxed, reminiscent of early Roman baths in the region.

VIAGGIO SERIES
Literally meaning to travel or to embark on a journey in
Italian, Viaggio conjures images of walkabouts in the
foothills of the Dolomites, day sails on Lake Como, and
treks in the hills of Tuscany. ROHL faucets of the same
name were inspired by these very places. Crafted by
Italian faucet makers, the ROHL Viaggio Series embodies
the traditions of the region where generations of families
have set their hands at creating pieces inspired by their
northern Italian heritage.

ARCANA SERIES
The Arcana name reflects its meaning, “looking into the past and to the
future". It is a blend of both – the tradition and the future – linked together
in a unique form. The Arcana Series features faucet and accessory
designs for the lavatory, bath and shower. All faucets are constructed
of solid brass and feature ceramic disc valve technology. The tradition
of Arcana pays homage to the town of Alzo, above Lago d’Orta, and its
heritage of church bells used in the design of the handle base. Today
the town produces some of the finest fittings in the world.
