JUMPER SETTINGS
To gain access to the jumper, remove the plug-in connectors and the four screws from the corners of the cover. The cover snaps into the box and will need to be levered up using a blade between the cover and the box. Place the jumper accross the middle and left pin for 12 Volt operation. Place the jumper accross the middle and right pin for 24 Volt operation. If this jumper is not installed, the charger defaults to 12 Volt operation.
FEATURES
• 10 Amp Capacity - The charger can facilitate a total of 10 amps to charge the battery.
• Temperature Compensation - The charger has an internal temperature sensor and varies charging voltages accordingly.
• 3 Stage Operation - The charger uses a 3 stage system to optimize lead acid battery charging.
• Low Voltage Disconnect - With user congurable settings.

exceed the input current and voltage limits.
MODBUS COMMUNICATIONS
For Modbus addresses below 255, the charge controller supports three dierent addressing modes. A standard single byte address may be used. A two byte extended address or a three byte extended address where the rst byte of the address is a 0xFF prex may be used. The controller uses the message length to determine address mode being used. In the extended addressing modes, the high byte of the address precedes the low byte.
SETTING THE MODBUS ADDRESS
A function 6 message containing the Modbus address is broadcast to address 0 to set the Modbus address. The controller will not respond to this message, but will change to the new address. Controllers are shipped with a default address set to 1.
