The Rodia®Stainless Steel Dry Cutters are supplied complete with:
● 18" Adjustable Tile Stop
● Angular Cutting Device 0°-45°
● 2 Tile Supports for larger tile
● Injection Molded Carrying Case
● Instruction Manual
Always inspect your new dry cutter for damaged parts before use.
2. Setting up your Dry Cutter
Place a tile on the dr
y cutter and mount the scoring wheel. Secure the
scoring wheel at the de-sir
ed height by turning the handle on the lever.
Note that the slots in the scoring wheel holder are in line with the lever.
Do not use damaged or worn out scoring wheels, this will decrease the quality of the cut or r
esult in breakage of the tile.
3. Cutting Procedures
Put the tile onto the base plate at the desir
ed position (3) and angle
(5). Note that the glazed side of the tile faces upwards.
Position the scoring wheel at the beginning of the tile and move the scoring wheel over the tile in one smooth movement.
When cutting very rough tiles it may be necessary to repeat the scoring movement until a continuous gr
oove is made.
Move the cutter into the br
eaking position (4) by pulling the slide tube
on the lever
. Put the br
eaker at the end of the tile near the end stop.
Move the lever down and apply sufficient force to break the tile.
Repetitive Cuts
The Rodia®Dry cutters are supllied with an adjustable tile stop that allows for repetitive cuts. Simply secure the Cutting Guide at the desired dimension to cut identical tiles.
Cutting larger tiles
In order to avoid breakage of lager tiles, the Rodia®dry cutters are supplied with two pr
oduct supports. These product supports can be hoo-
ked onto either side of the base plate.
Maintenance
Rodia®Dr
y Cutters are designed for minimum maintenance and dura-
bility. For the longevity of your Rodia
