GENERAL ASSEMBLY
DESCRIPTION
The Trusted
designed to act as the main interface between the Trusted
Isolated Digital Output Module T8473 and a field device. The signal from
the output module is digital at 120V ac.
The supply for the field is connected via terminal blocks TB4 and TB8 on the
FTA. This is supplied to the module on sockets SK3 and SK6.
The output signals to the field (16-off) are connected from the module on
sockets SK1, SK2, SK4 and SK5. These connect to the field via transient
suppression on 12-way terminal blocks TB1, TB2, TB5 and TB6. Each
channel includes two isolated live connections from the module and a
derived safety neutral connection. Earth connections are provided on
separate terminal blocks TB3 and TB7.
To reduce integration time, the interface cable which connects the FTA and
its I/O module is pre-assembled with appropriate connector for direct
connection to the FTA.
