1. Description
The TrustedTM 16 Channel 120Vac Digital Output FTA T8871 provides termination for a maximum of
16 output channels. Figure 2 below shows the configuration of a single channel.

The supply for the field is connected via terminal blocks TB2 and TB4 on the FTA. This is supplied to
the module on sockets SK2 and SK4 via harmonic and transient protective devices as shown.
The output signals to the field (16-off) are connected from the module on sockets SK1 and SK3. These
connect to the field by 3-wire arrangements terminated on 2-off 24-way terminal blocks TB1 and TB3.

2. Installation
TrustedTM 16 Channel 120Vac Digital Input FTA T8871 is designed to be mounted on either of the
TS32 or TS35 DIN rails in the horizontal or vertical positions as required.
