3rd BRAKE LIGHT KIT INSTALLATION
1. Locate the factory wires coming out of the tailgate
2. Expose the wires at the end of the tailgate, cut into the wire, and remove the
factory brake light
a. Use 2 butt connectors to attach the new extended black and white wires
to the factory/original wires
3. Run the new extended wires through one of the unused tire carrier holes

4. After the wires have become exposed through the end of the tire carrier, use 2
butt connectors to connect the black and white 2 pin connector to the end
5. Cut LED light grommet as needed to fit the center of spare tire hole
6. Install LED light grommet into the center of the spare tire hole
7. Attach black and white 2 pin connector to the back to the LED light
8. Push the LED light into the LED grommet to get a good connection
IMPORTANT: This is an LED light. It requires polarity to work. If you plug the LED light
into the grommet and it does not work, turn the light around and plug it in again.
