Repair and maintenance
Please
pay
attention
to the
following issues
when
you
are using
the
treadmill.
1. Keep
treadmill clean
1.1. Keeping
treadmill clean
could fairly
prolong
life-span of treadmill.
Please
frequently clean
the exposed
running board and
footplate along both sides
of
running belt to avoid
the
long-term accumulation
of dust and dirt.
1.2.
Running belt
could
be
cleaned with soft
cloth dipped with
soap water.
Try to
avoid
the
water to flow under running belt and
into
protection
case.
1.3. Check
the bolts and screw caps
of the treadmill
periodically.
lf
something
looses,
please
lock
and fasten
them immediately
with tools.
1.4.
Please
check
whether clean
in the motor belt.
Please
clear
up all
remoras for
avoid
unnecessary shake
while
using.
1.5.
Regular to clean electronic control
system and
the dust surrounded
motor and
make sue that the treadmill
run normally.
2. Lubrication
2.1. Please
spread the Lubrication
for the running board
with the
attached
lubricating oil
to reduce the
frictional reciprocally between
the running belt
and
running board with the
high temperature to damage
the
running belt,
running
board and
the
load
of elector
motor.
(Note:
lt is not
suitable
for the children
to
play
with,
avoiding
eating
inadvertently.
)
After
a
period
of use of treadmill,
it is a must
to lubricate running board
and belt
with
professional
lubricant. ln terms of
various operation
period
and
intervals of
lubrication,
it is referred to as
follows:
Opeatbn
period

2.3
The way to lubricate: loose
left
and
right adjusting bolts
at the back
of
treadmill
with
professional
devices.
Raise
running belt by 10-15cm.
Pour
adequate
professional
lubricate onto
running board and
even up.
Tighten
running belt up.
(See
details of adjusting
way in
Adjusting way of
running
belt) Don'
t overuse lubricate.
Please remember:
rational lubrication
is vital to
life-span of treadmill.
3. Judgment of
resistance:
Uncleanness
or
lack
of
lubricate will both
lead to more
resistance between
running boards,
which may do damage
to
electric
engine and control
board.
lndications of
much resistance are as
follows:
3.1 When
power-off,
running belt is hard
to move or doesn'
t move;
3.2 When
treadmill operates with
load
at
medium speed,
if
you
turn off
the
security switch,
treadmill stops
immediately;
3.3
More resistance may lead
to the damage of electric
engine or control board,
short circuit, tripping,
fuse blowing, etc.
4.
Tightness
adjustment
of
running belt:
4.1 Although
running
belt
of every treadmill
has been adjusted before
release
and
assembly, it will turn slack
after a
period
of
use. Maintenance
will rely on user
himself.
lf running belt is very slack,
it will skid between
running belt and
roller
when standing on belt.
While the belt
is
too
tight, it may damage
electric engine,
running belt and
roller, etc. Commonly, both
sides of running belt
part
from
running board by 5-6
cm.
13
l4
4.2 How
to
determine whether
electric
engine belt is
slack: Setting
the speed
of
treadmill
at 1.5kM/H, hold handbar
with
both hands, try
to
stop
running
belt with
feet. lf
belt
stops and roller
still
runs,
while
belt continues
to run without
block, it indicates
the belt
is too slack.
User will
sometimes feel
the sense
of
halt.
Long-term
use
will
shorten life-span
of belt, thus
shall be timely
adjusted.
4.3 Way
to
adjust tightness of
belt: after a
period
of use
of treadmill, it will halt
sometimes
when
jogging
because
the
belt
is
too slack. The
tension adjusting
bolts in
the
left,
right
and
rear
adjusting
box are used
to adjust
the degree of
tightness
and deflection
of the running
belt and they
are the
core
part
for
the
adjustment
of
the
treadmill.
Adjusting
method.
(Note:
Turn
clockwise is
tight, counterclockwise
for
loose.
The situation
of tight and
loose to
express both clockwise
and
counterclockwise
as below)
after a specified
usage time, the running
belt of the
treadmill will
extend a little. Skidding will
take
place
in
running, which
suggests
the running
belt
is
over loosening.
Then it is necessary
to tighten
the tension
adjusting bolts in the rear-adjusting
box.
Tighten
the
tension adjusting
bolts at
both
sides
with
a standard
of
quarter
circle
till
no
skidding
takes
place
again.
Special attention: lt is not
good
to
adjust belt
too
tight.
Over tightness will
shorten
life-span
of
running
belt.
5. Deflection adjustment
of running
belt:
Though running
belt of
every
treadmill
has
been adjusted
before release
and
assembly, it will
deflect
after a
period
of use
due to the following reasons:
5.1 Host machine is not
placed
steadily.
5.2 Both feet
of the user are not
on
the
center of
belt.
5.3 Both feet
of the user exert
different
power.
5.4 Way
to adjust deflection:
man-caused deflection
could
automatically restore
by free-load running
for
several
minutes.
As to the
deflection which
cannot
restore,
use
professional
tool available in kit
to
gradually
adjust
running
belt
adjusting bolt with half
circle
as one unit.
lf
the deflection is
on the right,
adjust
right
adjusting bolt clockwise
or adjust left bolt
anticlockwise. Deflection
problem
is mainly maintained
by
use
himself .
Deflection will heavily
damage running
belt.
Once found, the
problem
shall be
timely
corrected.
6.
Adjustment
of
electric engine belt:
6.1 Although running
belt of every treadmill has
been adjusted
before release
and
assembly, it will
deflect after a
period
of use due to the electric
engine
belt
is
too
slack.
6.2
How
to determine whether
electric
engine belt is slack:
Setting the speed
of
treadmill
at 1.SkM/H, hold handbarwith
both hands,
tryto stop running
beltwith
feet. lf
beltstops and rollerstill runs,
while belt
continues to run without
block,
it indicates
the belt
is
too slack.
User
will
sometimes feel
the sense of halt. Long-
term
use
will
shorten life-span
of belt, thus
shall be
timely
adjusted.
6.3
Solution:
Adjust
bolt
of electric engine belt with
professional
tool
for
several rounds clockwise
till the user cannot
find the sense
of halt. The
maintenance
is mainly
covered by user himself.
Way
to adjust electric engine
belt: adjust it clockwise with half
circle
as one unit
with
affiliated tool.
It
is not
good
to
adjust belt too tight. lt
shall be adjusted according
to the
requirement.
Over tightness will
shorten life-span of running
belt.
