RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS
INSTALLATION
• The manufacturer will not be held liable for any damages resulting
from incorrect or improper installation.
• The minimum safety distance between the cooker top and the extractor hood is 650 mm.
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the
rating plate xed to the inside of the hood.
• For Class I appliances, check that the domestic power supply guarantees adequate earthing.
Connect the extractor to the exhaust ue through a pipe of minimum
diameter 150 mm. The route of the ue must be as short as possible.
• Do not connect the extrac
tor hood to exhaust ducts carrying combus-
tion fumes (boilers, replaces, etc.).
• If the extractor is used in conjunction with non-electrical appliances
(e.g. gas burning appliances), a sucient degree of aeration must be
guaranteed in the room in order to prevent the backow of exhaust
gas. The kitchen must have an opening communicating directly with
the open air in order to guarantee the entry of clean air.
USE
• The extractor hood has been designed exclusively for domestic use to
eliminate kitchen smells.
• Ne
ver use the hood for purposes other than for which it has ben de-
signed.
• Never leave high naked ames under the hood when it is in operation.
• Adjust the ame intensity to direct it onto the bottom of the pan only,
making sure that it does not engulf the sides.
• Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored during use: overheated oil can burst into ames.

• The hood should not be used by children or persons not instructed in
its correct use.
MAINTENANCE
• Switch o or unplug the appliance from the mains supply before carrying out any maintenance work.
• Clean and/or replace the Filters after the specied time period.
• Clean the hood using a damp cloth and a neutral liquid detergent.

Control panel
TOUCH CONTROL FUNCTION
T1 ON/OFF Motor Switches the ho od m otor on a nd off. T he la test se lected
speed appears on the display.
T2 Speed - Decreases the suction speed: V3 → V2 → V1
T3 Speed + Increases the suction speed: V1 → V2 → V3
T4 Intensive speed Activates t he intensive sp eed from any previously sel ected
speed. The i ntensive speed can be activated even when the
motor is OFF. By pressing the same touch control once again
or by sw itching of f the motor t his f unction c an be de activated. I ntensive s peed cannot b e a ctivated when the de lay
function is on. Intensive speed has been timed at 10 minutes:
H appears on the display and a spot down on the right side
flashes once a second. After 10 minutes the system activates
automatically the latest selected speed.
T5 Delay Activates and deactivates the delayed shutdown of the hood
(motor + l ighting) at 3 0 m inutes: t he sel ected speed o f t he
hood a ppears on t he dis play and a s pot down o n the r ight
side flashes once a second. By pressing the same touch control once again or by switching off the motor delay function
can be deactivated.

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the Comfort Panel
• Open the comfort panel; turn the hooks and remove the p anel
by slightly pressing the rear side.
Do not wash the comfort panelin the dish washing machine.
It is recommended to use a neutral detergent liquid and a damp
cloth when washing the outer surface of the comfort panel.
Wash the inner part of the panel as well by using a neutral detergent liquid and a damp cloth; in a ny case do no t use wet
sponges or other clothes nor water jet or corrosive detergents.
Close the sliding panel again and put the comfort panel into its
seat.

Grease lters
CLEANING METAL GREASE FILTERS
The lters must be cleaned every 2 months of operation, or
more frequently for particularly h eavy usage.
Open the Comfort Panel by turning the knobs provided.
Open the panel.
Remove the lters, one at a time, after disconnecting the relative fastening elements.
Wash the lters, taking care not to bend them. Allow them to
dry before retting.
When retting the lters, make sure that the h andle is visible
on the outside.
Close the panel again and hook up the comfort panel.

ENERGY SAVING TIPS.
When you start cooking, switch on the range hood at minimum speed, to control moisture and remove
cooking odor.
Use boost speed only when is strictly necessary.
Increase the range speed only when the amount of vapor makes it necessary.
Keep range hood filter(s) clean to optimize grease and odor efficiency.

Odour lters (Recirculation version)
LIGHT REPLACEMENT
• Remove the 3 screws fixing the Lighting support, and pull it
out of from the Hood.
• Extract the lamp from the Support.
• Replace with another of t he same t ype, making sure that t he
two pins are properly inserted in the lamp holder socket holes.
• Replace the Support, fixing it in place with the two screws removed as above.
A defective light is cutting off the second one’s. In this case, you have to change the two lights.
REPLACING ACTIVATED CHARCO AL FIL T ERS
• These filters are not washable and cannot be regenerated, and
must b e rep laced ap proximately every four months of o peration, or more frequently with heavy usage.
• Open the Comfort Panel.
• Remove the grease filters.
• Remove the s aturated a ctivated c arbon f ilter by releasing the
fixing hooks
• Replace the grease filters.
• Close the panel again and hook up the comfort panel.

CONSEILS ET SUGGESTIONS
INSTALLATION
• Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommage dû à une installation non correcte ou non conforme aux règles de l’art.
• La distance minimale de sécurité entre le plan de cuisson et la hotte doit être
de 650 mm au moins.
• Vérier que la tension du secteur correspond à la valeur qui gure sur la plaquette apposée à l’intérieur de la hotte.
• Pour les Appareils appartenant à la Ière Classe, veiller à ce que la mise à la
terre de l’installation électrique domestique ait été eectuée conformément aux
normes en vigueur.
• Connecter la hotte à la sortie d’air aspiré à l’aide d’une tuyauterie d’un diamètre égal ou supérieur à 150 mm. Le parcours de la tuyauterie doit être le plus
court possible.
• Eviter de connecter la hotte à des conduites d’évacuation de fumées issues
d’une combustion tel que (Chaudière, cheminée, etc…).
• Si vous utilisez des appareils qui ne fonctionnent pas à l’électricité dans la
pièce ou est installée la hotte (par exemple: des appareils fonctionnant au
gaz), vous devez prévoir une aération susante du milieu. Si la cuisine en est
dépourvue, pratiquez une ouverture qui communique avec l’extérieur pour garantir l’inltration de l’air pur.
UTILISATION
• La hotte a été conçue exclusivement pour l’usage domestique, dans le but
d’éliminer les odeurs de la cuisine.
• Ne jamais utiliser abusivement la hotte.
• Ne pas laisser les ammes libres à forte intensité quand la hotte est en ser-
vice.
• Toujours régler les ammes de manière à éviter toute sortie latérale de ces
dernières par rapport au fond des marmites.
• Contrôler les friteuses lors de l’utilisation car l’huile surchauée pourrait
s’enammer.
• Ne pas préparer d’aliments ambés sous la hotte de cuisine : risque d’incendie
• La hotte ne doit pas être utilisée par des enfants ou des personnes ne pouvant
pas assurer une utilisation correcte.
ENTRETIEN
• Avant de procéder à toute opération d’entretien, retirer la hotte en retirant la
che ou en actionnant l’interrupteur général.
• Eectuer un entretien scrupuleux et en temps dû des Filtres, à la cadence
conseillée.
• Pour le nettoyage des surfaces de la hotte, il sut d’utiliser un chion humide
et détersif liquide neutre.

• Branch er la h otte sur le secteur en interposant un interrupteur bipolaire av ec ouv erture des
contacts d’au moins 3 mm.

• Percer le dessus du meuble haut.
• Fixer les 2 équerres à l’aide des vis fournies.
• Mettre en place le clapet anti-retour (Rep. 9)
sur la sortie de l’appareil. Fixer l’ensemble à
l’aide de colliers ou de ruban adhésif appropriés.
En cas d’ installation en ve rsion aspirante,
brancher la hotte à la tuyauterie de sortie
via un tuyau rigide ou flexible de ø 150 mm,
au choixde l’installateur.
• Fixer le tube par des colliers appropriés.
Le matériau nécessaire n’est pas fourni.
• Retirer les éventuels filtres anti-odeur au
charbon actif.
L’air filtré est évacué dans la pièce à travers
une ouverture placée sur la partie supérieure
du meuble ou de la h otte.
• Percer un trou de ø 155 mm. sur l’éventuelle
tablette qui se trouve au-dessus de la hotte.
• Connecter la flasque au trou de sortie sur la
tablette qui se trouve au-dessus de la hotte,
au moyen d’un tuyau rigide ou flexible de ø150 mm.
• Fixer le tube par des colliers appropriés. Le
matériau nécessaire n’est pas fourni.
• Fixer les filtres charbon sur le ou les filtres
métalliques à l’aide des 2 x 4 barettes.
• Insérer l’appareil dans la découpe et le fixe à l’aide des vis fournies sur équerres.

TOUCHE FONCTIONS
T1 ON/OFF Moteur Actionne et arrête le moteur d’aspiration. Sur l’afficheur est
visualisé le pas de la vitesse précédemment sélectionnée.
T2 Vitesse - Réduit la vitesse du moteur: V3 → V2 → V1
T3 Vitesse + Augmente la vitesse du moteur: V1 → V2 → V3
T4 Vitesse intensive Actionne la vitesse inte nsive en partant d’une vitesse que l-
conque ou lorsque le moteur est éteint. Pour la désactiver, il
suffit d’appuyer à nouveau sur la même touche qui a été utilisée ou d’éteindre le moteur. La vitesse intensive ne peut pas
être actionnée si la fonction Delay est active. La vitesse intensive est temporisée sur 10 minutes: sur l’afficheur est visualisée l’insc ription H et le p oint e n bas à droite c lignote
une fois par seconde. Lorsque 10 minutes se sont écoulées, le
système ret ourne au tomatiquement à l a vitesse p récédemment sélectionnée.
T5 Delay Actionne e t dé sactive la m odalité d’a rrêt to tal de la hotte
(moteur+éclairage) après 30 minutes: l’afficheur visualise la
vitesse du moteur et le point en bas à droite clignote une fois
par s econde. Pour i nvalider la f onction D elay on pe ut a ppuyer à nouveau sur la même touche ou éteindre le moteur.

ENTRETIEN
Nettoyage des Confort Panel
• Ouvrir le confort panel, en intervenant sur les boutons spécialement prévus, puis le d écrocher en exerçant une légère pression sur la partie arrière.
Le c onfort pa nel ne doi t a bsolument pa s ê tre la vé a u la vevaisselle.
Nettoyer l’extérieur a vec u n chion h umide et u n détergent
liquide neutre.
Nettoyer également la pa rtie interne, e n utilisa nt un c hion
humide et un détergent neutre; ne pas utiliser de chions ou
éponges mouillés, ni de jets d’eau; ne pas utiliser de substances
abrasives.
Refermer et raccrocher le confort panel.

Filtres anti-graisse
NETTOYAGE FILTRES ANTI-GRAISSE METALLIQUES
Ils nécessitent d’être nettoyés environ tous les 2 mois d’emploi
ou plus fréquemment en cas d’emploi particulièrement intense.
Ouvrir le Confort Panel, en intervenant su les boutons spécialement prévus.
Retirer les ltres l’un après l’autre, en intervenant sur les dispositifs d’accrochage spécialement prévus.
Laver les ltres en évitant de les plier et les laisser sécher avant
de les remonter.
Remonter les ltres en veillant à ce que la poignée reste vers la
partie visible externe.
Refermer et accrocher à nouveau le confort panel.

CONSEILS POUR L’ECONOMIE D’ENERGIE.
Lorsque vous commencez à cuisiner, activer la hotte à la vitesse minimum pour contrôler l’humidité et
éliminer les odeurs de cuisine.
Utilisez la vitesse intensive lorsque cela est strictement nécessaire.
Augmentez la vitesse de la hotte seulement lorsque la quantité de vapeur le requiert.
Veillez à ce que le ou les filtres de la hotte soient toujours propres, afin d’optimiser l’éfficacité
anti-graisse et anti-odeurs.

Filtre anti-odeur (Version filtrante)
REMPLACEMENT FILTRE AU CHARBON ACTIF
• Ils ne sont pas lavables ni régénérables; les remplacer au moins
tous les quatre mois d’utilisa tion ou plus f réquemment en cas
d’utilisation très intense.
• Ouvrir le Confort P anel, en intervenant su les boutons spécialement prévus.
• Retirer les Filtres anti-graisse.
• Retirer le filtre anti-odeur au charbon actif colmaté, en agissant
sur les crochets prévus à cet effet.
• Remonter les filtres anti-graisse.
REMPLACEMENT LAMPES
• Retirer les 3 Vis qui fixent le Support éclairage et ôter ce d ernier de la Hotte.
• Extraire la Lampe du Support.
• Remplacer par une nouvelle lampe possédant les mêmes caractéristiques, en veillant à ce que les deux fiches soient correctement insérées dans le logement de la Douille.
• Remonter le Support en le fixant à l’aide des Vis précéHIQment retirées.
Une lampe défectueuse entraîne l’extinction de la seconde. Veuillez dans ce cas procéder au
remplacement des 2 lampes

UK ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
Any permanent electrical installation must comply
with the latest I.E.E. Regulations and local Electricity
Board regulations. For your own safety this should be
undertaken by a qualified electrician e.g. your local
Electricity Board, or a contractor who is on the roll of
the National Inspection Council for Electrical
Installation Contracting (NICEIC).
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before connecting to the mains supply ensure that
the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage on the
rating plate inside the cooker hood.
This appliance is fitted with a 2 core mains cable and
must be permanently connected to the electricity supply
via a double-pole switch having 3mm minimum contact
gap on each pole. A Switched Fuse Connection Unit
to BS.1363 Part 4, fitted with a 3 Amp fuse, is a
recommended mains su
pply connection accessory to
ensure compliance with the Safety Requirements
applicable to fixed wiring instructions.
