General:

OpenPilot CC3D Flight Controller

The CC3D Board is an All-in-One-Board, which works with OpenPilot-Firmware.
It can be used for controlling Planes, Helicopters and mainly for Multicopter. The configuration and the monitoring of
flights is handled by the Software OpenPilot Ground Control Station (GCS) which is an open source software.

The board has many similarities with the Revolution platform, including Open Pilot architecture and cross-platform
Ground Control Station (GCS). The CopterControl from OpenPilot project represents a new generation of multi-

purpose aircraft-stabilizing platforms.

The CopterControl platform was developed to serve following functions:

 Multirotor-Control with Auto-Level, including TriCopter, QuadCopter and HexaCopter.
 Flybarless Helicopter-Control with Auto-Level.
 UAV-Controller for fixed-wing-models

The CopterControl Hardware has following features:

 Powerfull STM32 32-Bit-Mikrocontroller with 90MIPs - 128KB Flash and 20KB RAM
 3-axis high-performance MEMS gyros and 3-axis high-performance MEMS accelerometer

Safety Note: All settings please remove propellers. Never make with mounted propellers settings on control
system!

The regulator is controlled via connection scheme as described in the graphic.
The supply by BEC is connected via the chassis cabling.

This software and the control system is a so called open source system / software.

For maladjustments, damage to system components of 250FPV-Racers and rechargeable batteries,
we can assume no liability. Use of the software and the resulting technical events are subject to the user alone.

die bereits beim Kauf des Produktes vorhandenen Material- und/oder

Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:

 Schäden durch falsche Anwendung
 Schäden durch Vernachlässigung der Sorgfaltspflicht
 Schäden durch unsachgemäße Behandlung und Wartungsfehler
 Flüssigkeitsschäden

Bei Garantiefällen wenden Sie sich bitte an ihren Fachhändler.
Sollte es notwendig sein das Produkt einzusenden, legen Sie bitte
unbedingt eine Kopie der Rechnung und einen Reparaturauftrag bei.
Diesen können Sie unter www.robitronic.com herunterladen. Bei direkter
Zusendung an die Serviceabteilung muss vorher Rücksprache
(telefonisch oder per E-Mail) gehalten werden. Die Portokosten trägt der
Versender. Kostenpflichtige Pakete werden nicht angenommen. Jeder
eingesendete Garantiefall wird zunächst durch unsere Serviceabteilung
auf Zulässigkeit geprüft. Für abgelehnte Garantiefälle wird ggf. eine
Kontroll- und Bearbeitungsgebühr verrechnet bevor wir das Produkt
zurücksenden. Reparaturen die nicht unter die Garantieleistung fallen,
müssen vor Beginn der Reparatur bezahlt werden.

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise

 Lesen Sie bitte vor Inbetriebnahme die Sicherheitshinweise komplett

durch, sie enthält wichtige Hinweise zum Betrieb. Bei Schäden, die
durch Nichtbeachtung dieser Sicherheitshinweise entstehen, erlischt
jeder Garantieanspruch!

 Nicht für Kinder unter 14 Jahren, kein Spielzeug! Elektronische Geräte

und Zubehör gehören nicht in Kinderhände!

 Betreiben Sie ein Modell nie mit fast leeren Batterien oder Akkus.
 Betreiben Sie das Modell fernab von Fahrzeugen sowie Personen und

Tieren um Verletzungen und Sachschäden zu vermeiden.

 Betreiben Sie nie und unter keinen Umständen ein Modell im

Straßenverkehr.

 Schalten Sie immer zuerst den Sender und danach das Modell ein.
 Das Produkt ist regelmäßig auf Beschädigungen zu prüfen, besonders

die Anschlussleitungen, der Stecker und das Gehäuse. Wenn das
Produkt beschädigt ist, darf es erst wieder benutzt werden, wenn es
von einer befugten Stelle repariert wurde. Das Gerät darf nicht
geöffnet werden!

 Das Produkt vor Staub, Feuchtigkeit, Regen, Hitze (z.B. direkte

Sonneneinstrahlung) und Vibration schützen.

 Nur zur Verwendung in trockenen Räumen bestimmt!
 Manche Produkte wie z.B. Schaltnetzteile und Ladegeräte können

während des Betriebs warm werden und leicht summen. Dies ist
normal und keine Fehlfunktion.

 Elektronische Geräte müssen frei aufgestellt sein. Die

Gehäuseoberfläche dient der Kühlung des Gerätes und darf nicht
abgedeckt oder eingewickelt werden damit die Luft ungehindert
zirkulieren kann. Das Gerät darf nicht unbeaufsichtigt betrieben
werden.

 Stellen Sie das Produkt beim Ladevorgang bzw. das ev. mitgelieferte

Ladegerät im Betrieb auf eine nicht brennbare Oberfläche.

 Zulässige Ströme (USB-Buchsen) dürfen nicht überschritten werden.
 Anschlusskabel dürfen nicht verändert werden und dürfen während

des Betriebs nicht aufgewickelt sein!

 Beachten Sie unbedingt beim Anschluss von Zusatzgeräten die

Vorschriften und Sicherheitshinweise des jeweiligen Geräteherstellers.
Bei unsachgemäßer Handhabung (Spannungsbereich, zu hohe
Ladeströme oder falsche Polung) können die Geräte beschädigt bzw.
zerstört werden.

 Es ist darauf zu achten, dass die Isolierung (des Gehäuses bzw. der

Kabeln) weder beschädigt noch zerstört wird.

 Halten Sie Sendeanlagen (Funktelefone, Fernsteuerungen für

Modellbau usw.) vom Gerät fern, da die einfallende Senderabstrahlung
zur Störung des Betriebs führen kann.

 Verbinden Sie Ihr Gerät niemals gleich mit der Netzsteckdose wenn es

von einem kalten in einen warmen Raum gebracht wird. Das dabei
entstehende Kondenswasser kann unter ungünstigen Umständen das
Gerät zerstören. Lassen Sie das Gerät langsam auf Zimmertemperatur
erwärmen.

 Stecken Sie das Gerät immer von der Netzsteckdose ab wenn es nicht

benützt wird.

 Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut werden!
 Ein Betrieb unter widrigen Umgebungsbedingungen ist nicht zulässig,

diese sind z.B.:

- Zu hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit

- Nässe

- Staub und brennbare Gase, Dämpfe oder Lösungsmittel, Benzine

- zu hohe Umgebungstemperaturen (> ca. +40°C)

- starke Vibrationen

 Wenn anzunehmen ist, dass ein gefahrloser Betrieb nicht mehr

möglich ist, so ist das Gerät außer Betrieb zu setzen und gegen
unbeabsichtigte

Inbetriebnahme zu sichern. Es ist anzunehmen, dass ein gefahrloser
Betrieb nicht mehr möglich ist, wenn:

- das Gerät sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist,

- das Gerät nicht mehr richtig funktioniert

- nach längerer Lagerung unter ungünstigen Verhältnissen

Sicherheitsmaßnahmen im Umgang mit Lipo Akkus

 Laden Sie den Akku an einem sicheren Ort ohne brennbare

Gegenstände in der Nähe.

 Lassen Sie den Akku beim Laden niemals unbeaufsichtigt. Behalten

Sie den Akku stets im Auge, um mögliche Probleme beim
Ladevorgang rasch zu erkennen.

 Wenn der Akku entladen ist, benötigt er eine gewisse Zeit, um auf

Raumtemperatur abzukühlen, bevor er wieder geladen werden kann.
Es ist weder nötig, noch empfohlen, den Akku vor dem erneuten
Laden vollständig zu entladen. Mit einem geeigneten Ladegerät
können auch teilentladene LiPo-Akkus sicher geladen werden.

 Nutzen Sie ausschließlich geeignete Lader. Verwenden Sie niemals

NiCd oder NiMH Ladegeräte. Dies kann zu Sach- und
Personenschäden durch Feuer oder Explosion führen.

 Wenn sich der Akku beim Laden aufbläht, unterbrechen Sie bitte sofort

den Ladevorgang indem Sie den Akku oder das Ladegerät abstecken.
Lassen Sie den Akku auf einer feuerfesten Unterlage mindestens 15
Minuten lang im Freien ruhen. Weiteres Laden oder Entladen kann zu
Brand oder Explosion führen. Aufgeblähte LiPo Akkus müssen
unverzüglich ersetzt werden.

 Für eine längere Lagerung laden Sie den Akku nur zu ca. 50% auf.

(ca. 3,85V) und lagern Sie ihn bei Raumtemperatur (ca. 25°C) und
geringer Luftfeuchte.

 Beim Transport oder bei kurzfristiger Lagerung sollte der Akku keinen

Temperaturen unter 5°C oder über 40°C ausgesetzt sein. Lagern Sie
ihren Akku daher niemals in einer heißen Garage oder im Auto. Dies
kann zum Brand oder zur Explosion führen.

 Entladen Sie den LiPo-Akkus niemals zu tief. Dies kann zur

Beschädigung oder zur Zerstörung des Akkus führen. LiPo Akkus
sollten nicht unter 3,0V/Zelle (unter Last) entladen werden.

Haftungsausschluss

Da die Einhaltung der Bedienungsanleitung, sowie der Betrieb und die
Bedingungen bei Verwendung des Produktes zu keiner Zeit vom
Hersteller überwacht werden kann, übernimmt der Hersteller keinerlei
Haftung für Schäden, Kosten und/oder Verluste, die sich aus falscher
Verwendung und/oder fehlerhaftem Betrieb ergeben oder in irgendeiner
Weise damit zusammenhängen.

Entsorgung

Elektronische Altgeräte sind Rohstoffe und gehören nicht in
den Hausmüll. Ist das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer,
so entsorgen Sie dieses gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen
Vorschriften bei Ihren kommunalen Sammelstellen. Eine
Entsorgung über den Hausmüll ist verboten.

Batterien / Akkus

Als Endverbraucher sind Sie gesetzlich zur Rückgabe aller
leeren/ defekten Batterien und Akkus verpflichtet
(Batterieverordnung). Eine Entsorgung über den Hausmüll ist

verboten!
Schadstoffhaltige Batterien/Akkus sind mit Symbolen gekennzeichnet,
die auf das Verbot der Entsorgung über den Hausmüll hinweisen. Die
Bezeichnungen für das ausschlaggebende Schwermetall sind:
Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Quecksilber, Pb=Blei.
Ihre leeren/defekten Batterien/Akkus können Sie unentgeltlich bei den
Sammelstellen Ihrer Gemeinde oder überall dort abgeben, wo
Batterien/Akkus verkauft werden.

Warranty

With the purchase of this product you purchased at the same time a two­year warranty from date of purchase. The guarantee applies only to the
already existing material defects on the purchase of the product and / or
functional defects.
Excluded from the guarantee are:

 Damage caused by incorrect use
 Damage caused by neglect of duty of care
 Damage caused by improper handling and maintenance errors
 Liquid damage

For warranty claims, please contact your local dealer.
Should it be necessary to send the product, you must enclose a copy of
the invoice and a repair order. You can download it at
www.robitronic.com. With direct sending to the service department must
be consulted beforehand (held by telephone or e-mail). The postage
costs borne by the consignor. Paid packages are not accepted.
Everyone sent in warranty case is first examined by our service
department on admissibility. For reject warranty claims will be charged
back to a control and processing fee before we return the product.
Repairs not covered under warranty, before the start of the repair must
be paid.

Important safety advices:

 Before you start using the product, please make sure that you’ve read

this safety advices! Robitronic is not liable for any warrantee claims or
damages that occur from a nonobservance of these safety advices.

 Electronic products and accessories are not suitable for children under

14 years! They’re not toys and children should be carefully advised.

 Ensure your batteries (both transmitter and vehicle) have been

properly charged for use with your model.

 Never operate your model near traffic, bystanders, parking areas, or

any other area that could result in injury to people or damage to
property.

 Always power on your transmitter before turning your vehicle on.
 The product should be regularly checked for damages, especially

damages on the mains cable. In case of damage, the product must not
be used until it is repaired by a qualified person. (See our contact
details at the end of this manual for further advice)

 The product must be protected from dust, moisture, direct sunlight,

heat and rain.

 This product can only be used in arid rooms.
 Products like charger or power supplies can be warm and light

humming during operation. This is normal and not a malfunction.

 While using, the product must not be covered as the cases functions

as a heat sink. Make sure that air can circulate freely. Never leave the
product unattended!

 Use the product only on a non-combustible surface.
 Permissible current (USB connectors) must not be exceeded.
 The mains cable must not be altered or coiled up during use.
 Be sure to observe by connection of accessory equipment the

regulations and safety instructions of the respective equipment
manufacturer. Improper handling (voltage range to high, charging
currents or incorrect polarity), can damage or destroy the product.

 Always make sure the insulation on both the case and the cable is

intact.

 Keep the product away from transmitters (cell phones, remote

controls…) as their EMF can interfere the electronics of the product.

 When the product is subjected to considerable temperature

differences, (especially from cold to hot) let the condensation dry up
first, before you use. Condensation water could otherwise destroy the
product.

 Disconnect the product from the wall outlet if it is not used
 Operation under adverse conditions is not permitted, include:

- High humidity

- Wet conditions

- Dust or combustible gases, vapors, solvents or benzene

- High temperature (> approx. +40°C)

- Heavy vibrations

 If you may assume, that the product cannot be used safely any more,

you must immediately stop using it and secure it against unintended
operation. Such an assumption can be made if:

- is apparently damaged.

- malfunctions

- is stored in an adverse environment for prolonged periods of time.

LiPo Battery Warnings and Usage Guidelines

 You must charge the LiPo battery in a safe area away from flammable

materials.

 Never charge the LiPo battery unattended at any time. When charging

the battery you should always remain in constant observation to

monitor the charging process and react immediately to any potential
problems that may occur.

 After discharging the battery you must allow it to cool to ambient/room

temperature before recharging. Also, it is NOT necessary or

recommended to discharge the battery ‘fully’ before charging (LiPo
batteries have no ‘memory’ and it’s safe to charge partially discharged

batteries when using an appropriate charger).

 To charge the battery you must use only a special LiPo battery

charger. Failure to do so may result in a fire causing property damage
and/or personal injury. DO NOT use a NiCd or NiMH charger.

 If at any time during the charge or discharge process the battery

begins to balloon or swell, discontinue charging or discharging
immediately. Quickly and safely disconnect the battery from the
charger, then place the battery in a safe, open area away from
flammable materials to observe it for at least 15 minutes. Continuing to
charge or discharge a battery that has begun to balloon or swell can
result in a fire. A battery that has ballooned or swollen even a small
amount must be removed from service completely.

 Store the battery partially charged (approximately 50% charged/3.85V

per cell), at room temperature (approximately 25° C and in a dry area
for best results.

 When transporting or temporarily storing the battery, the temperature

range should be from approximately 5°C-40°C. Do not store the
battery or model in a hot garage, car or direct sunlight whenever
possible. If stored in a hot garage or car the battery can be damaged
or even catch fire.

 Do not over-discharge the LiPo battery. Discharging the LiPo battery to

a voltage that is too low can cause damage to the battery resulting in
reduced power, duration or failure of the battery entirely. LiPo cells
should not be discharged to below 3.0V each under load.

arising from incorrect use and / or incorrect operation or in any way

Disposal of Electronic Waste

Electronic waste is a commodity and must be disposed
through special electronic waste sites. Please inform yourself
about adequate facilities in your community area. Disposal of
this product through domestic waste is illegal.

Batteries / Accumulators

As a consumer you are legally obliged to return all empty /
defective batteries (Battery ordinance). Disposal in the
household garbage is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries / accumulators are labeled with

symbols that indicate the prohibition of disposal in domestic
waste. The designations for the respective heavy metals are:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
Your empty / defective batteries / rechargeable batteries you can bring
free of charge to the community collection or wherever batteries /
accumulators are sold.

non verrà presa in esame se non dopo aver chiarito la situazione. Le
spese di spedizione sono a carico del mittente. Se un prodotto non è in
garanzia verrà rimandato al mittente. Le riparazioni non coperte dalla
garanzia devono essere pagati prima della riparazione e spedizione.

Note per la Sicurezza

 Prima d’iniziare a utilizzare il prodotto, leggere attentamente gli

istruzioni d’uso. Riporle quindi in un luogo facilmente accessibile per

eventuali future consultazioni!

 Non adatto a bambini sotto i 14 anni, non è un giocattolo!

Apparecchiature elettriche o accessori non sono cose da bambini!

 Mai utilizzare un modello con batterie scariche.
 Per i modelli si cerchi uno spazio ampio senza ostacoli. Per la propria

sicurezza e quella degli altri.

 Non bisogna usare velivoli RC vicino ad edifici, gruppi di persone, cavi

dell’alta tensione o alberi.

 È consigliato di accendere sempre prima la trasmittente e poi la

ricevente.

 Quando si spegne fare sempre l’operazione contraria.
 Prima di mettere in funzione il prodotto si prega di verificare che tutto

sia ancora a posto. Mai aprire il prodotto altrimenti l’oggetto non è più
in garanzia!

 Il prodotto verrà protetto da polvere, umidità, pioggia, calore (luce

solare) e vibrazioni.

 Solo per l’uso in ambienti asciutti.
 Alcuni prodotti come Alimentatori o Caricabatteria hanno una leggera

temperatura d’uso e possono ronzare. Non è un malfunzionamento!

 I dispositivi elettronici devono essere in un posto libero senza oggetti

d’intorno. La superficie verrà utilizzata per raffreddare il prodotto e
quindi deve essere mai coperto o addirittura avvolto in modo che l’aria

non possa circolare liberamente.

 Il prodotto verrà messo su una superficie non combustibile.
 I correnti ammissibili (esempio porte USB) non devono essere

superati.

 È sconsigliato di modificare i cavi di collegamento e durante il

funzionamento non devono essere aggomitolato!

 Assicurarsi di rispettare i collegamenti dei dispositivi, le norme e le

istruzioni di sicurezza del produttore. L’uso improprio (alta tensione,
corrente oppure inversione di polarità) può danneggiare o distruggere
il prodotto.

 È importante che l’isolamento dei cavi o dell’alloggiamento sia intatto.
 Tenere lontano dal prodotto apparecchiature di trasmissione (cellulari,

trasmittenti ecc.) perché possono interferire negativamente sul
funzionamento del prodotto.

 Mai lasciare il prodotto nella presa a muro se non viene utilizzato.
 Il prodotto non deve essere modificato o ricostruito!
 Il funzionamento in condizioni ambientali avverse non è consentito,

esempio:

- Evitare l‘umidità

- Bagnato

- Polvere e gas infiammabile, vapori, benzina

- Temperatura ambientale (> ca. +40°C)

- Forti vibrazioni

 Se si vede che il funzionamento sicuro non è più possibile, il

dispositivo deve essere messo fuori servizio. Si può presumere che la
sicurezza operativa non è più possibile quando:

- il prodotto ha danni visibili,

- il prodotto non funziona correttamente o non più,

- dopo un immagazzinamento con condizioni sfavorevoli!

Note per la sicurezza con batterie LiPo

 Le batterie LiPo sono diverse da quelle convenzionali per il loro

contenuto chimico e inoltre hanno un contenitore relativamente
leggero. Questo ha il vantaggio della leggerezza ma le rende più
sensibili ai maltrattamenti. Come con tutte le batterie, esiste il rischio di
incendio o esplosione se vengono ignorate le regole di sicurezza!

 Caricare o conservare le batterie LiPo in posti dove un loro eventuale

incendio o scoppio (compreso il rischio del fumo) non metta a rischio la
vita o danneggi le proprietà.

 Tenere le batterie LiPo lontano dai bambini e dagli animali.
 Non caricare mai le batterie gonfie o schiacciate in seguito a

sovraccarica o ad un incidente. Considerare come trattare le batterie
LiPo rispettando le norme di sicurezza della vostra abitazione.

 Non caricare mai le batterie forate o danneggiate in seguito ad un

incidente, e controllare sempre attentamente le batterie per rilevare
eventuali danni. In questo caso eliminare rispettando le norme per lo
smaltimento.

 Non caricare mai le batterie su di un veicolo in movimento, non

sovraccaricare le batterie LiPo, sorvegliare sempre le batterie durante
la carica. Non caricare le batterie LiPo vicino a materiali o liquidi
infiammabili. Accertarsi che i cavi di carica siano collegati
correttamente. Una carica a polarità invertita può far esplodere o
incendiare le batterie LiPo.

 Per immagazzinamento prolungato caricare la batteria solo il 50%

circa e conservarlo con una temperatura ambientale (25°C circa) con
bassa umidità. Per ridurre i rischi di incendio/esplosione bisogna

mettere le batterie all’interno di un contenitore adatto di
metallo/ceramica o un “LiPo Sack”.

 Mai scaricare troppo le batterie LiPo, altrimenti questo può causare

danni seri! Consigliato di scendere mai sotto 3,0V/cellula! Non tentare
di disassemblare, modificare o riparare le batterie LiPo!

Smaltimento

domestici. Si devono portare in appositi luoghi di raccolta o
restituire al produttore per il recupero e il riciclaggio.

Batterie

Questo simbolo sulla batteria indica che deve essere smaltita
separatamente. Questa batteria si deve smaltire
separatamente in un apposito centro di raccolta. Non si

commercio come:

Consignes de sécurité dans le traitement de piles
Lipo

 Charger la batterie dans lieu sûr sans des objets inflammables

proches.

 Laisser la batterie pendant la charge jamais sans surveillance. Gardez

toujours la batterie afin de détecter d'éventuels problèmes dans le
chargement rapidement.

 Lorsque la batterie est déchargée, il faut un certain temps pour

refroidir à température ambiante avant d'être rechargé. Il n'est ni
nécessaire ni recommandé de décharger complètement la batterie
avant de la recharger. Avec un chargeur suitable piles LiPo, qui sont
partiellement déchargées, peuvent être chargés en toute sécurité
aussi.

 Utiliser seulement le chargeur approprié. Ne pas utiliser NiCd ou NiMH

chargeurs. Cela peut conduire à dommages matériels et des blessures
dues au feu ou d'explosion.

 Si la batterie s'enfle pendant la charge, stopper immédiatement la

recharge en débranchant la batterie ou le chargeur. Reposez votre

 Au cours du transport ou stockage à court terme la batterie ne doit être

exposé à des températures moins de 5°C ou supérieures à 40°C.
Donc rangez jamais votre batterie dans un garage chaud ou dans la
voiture. Cela peut causer un incendie ou une explosion.

 Décharger jamais les batteries LiPo en trop profond. Cela peut causer

des dommages ou la destruction de la batterie. Batteries LiPo ne
doivent pas être déchargées en dessous de 3,0V/ cellule (en charge).

fonctionnement incorrect ou être lié d'une certaine façon.

ne font pas partie des déchets ménagers. Si le produit est à la
fin de sa vie utile, disposer en conformité avec les exigences
légales applicables à votre dépôt local. Élimination des
déchets ménagers est interdite.

Piles / accus

Comme consommateur vous êtes légalement obligé de revenir
toutes les piles vides / défectueux (ordonnance de la batterie).
Disposition dans les ordures de ménage est interdite! Batteries

contaminés / accumulateurs sont marqués avec des symboles
qui indiquent l'interdiction de disposition dans les ordures des ménages.
Les désignations des métaux lourds respectifs sont les suivants:
