The exclamation point within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user of important instructions accompanying the
product.
The lightening flash with arrowhead symbol within the triangle
is a warning sign alerting the user of “dangerous voltage” inside
the unit.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. No
user serviceable parts inside the unit. Refer all servicing to
qualified personnel.
This unit operates on 230V ~ 50Hz. If the unit is not used for a
long period of time, remove the plug from the AC mains.
This unit must not be exposed to moisture or rain.
The power switch in this unit is mounted on the secondary
circuit and does not disconnect the whole unit from the mains in
OFF position.
Ensure all connections are properly made before operating the
unit.
This unit should be positioned so that it is properly ventilated.
Avoid placing it, for example, close to curtains, on the carpet or in
a built-in installation such as a bookcase.
Do not expose this unit to direct sunlight or heat radiating sources.

Please read this instruction manual carefully and familiarize yourself with
your new Home Radio before using it for the first time. Please retain this
manual for future reference.

CONNECTING TO POWER
Before switching on make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is
the same as that indicated on the rating plate.
For your own safety read the following instructions carefully before attempting
to connect this unit to the mains.
MAINS (AC) OPERATION
This unit is designed to operate on AC 230V 50Hz current only. Connecting
it to other power sources may damage the unit.
CAUTION
T o prevent electric shock disconnect from the mains before removing cover.
No user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel.
SAFETY PRECAUTION
Do not allow this unit to be exposed to rain or moisture.

This symbol means that this unit is double insulated. An earth
connection is not required.
POWER SUPPLY
Remove the stereo carefully from the box, retaining the packaging for future
use (servicing).
AC POWER OPERATION
Connect the AC plug of the cable (6) to a mains power inlet 230V AC ~ 50 Hz.
AM/FM RADIO
OPERATION
• Select the desired frequency band (AM or FM) with the Band Selector
(20).
• Tune to the desired radio st ation by turning the T uning control (7).
• Turn the Volume control knob (8) to the desired level
• To turn off the unit set the Function Selector (2) to the OFF position.
ANTENNA
• For FM reception there is a built-in telescopic FM antenna (4) at the rear
of the unit. Extend the antenna and move it around to obtain the best
reception.
• For MW reception the signals are picked up through a built-in ferrite
antenna. Y our may have to orient the unit to obtain the best reception.

PLAYING MP3 FILES THROUGH SD CARD READER OR USB PORT
1. Slide the FUNCTION switch (2) to USB/SD position
2. Insert your SD card into the SD Card Reader (9) on the unit or plug in
your USB device to the USB slot on the unit (10).
3. The unit will start reading the MP3 files in the device and will start
playing the first MP3 files after reading.
4. Press the SKIP + button (12) to skip to the next track.
5. Press the SKIP - button (13) to go back to the previous track.
6. Press the FOLDER UP button 16) to go to the next folder.
7. While you are playing the device in the USB slot, if you insert the SD
card into the SD card reader, the unit will start playing the MP3 files in
the SD card and vice versa.
8. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (11) to temporarily stop playing and
press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to resume playing.
9. Press the MODE button (18) to select the PLAY mode in the following
sequence: Repeat ONE, Repeat ALL or Normal Play.

Note :
While the unit is playing the MP3 files in the storage device thru the USB
slot, insert the SD card into the SD card reader will stop playing the MP3
files in the storage device thru the USB, the unit will start playing the MP3
files in the SD card. Removing the SD card from the SD card reader, the
unit will resume playing the MP3 files in the storage device thru the USB
slot...
AUX-IN CONNECTION
1. Slide the FUNCTION switch (2) to AUX position..
2. Insert one side of the audio cable (requires 3.5mm stereo plug, not
supplied) into the line-out jack or phones jack on your MP3 player or
audio device and the other side to the aux-in jack on the unit.
3. Turn on your audio MP3 player or audio device and follow its playback
instructions.
4. To turn off this function, simply turned off your MP3 player.

Das Ausrufszeichen im Dreieck weist den Benutzer auf wichtige
Bedienungs- und Wartungsanweisungen (Service) in diesem Handbuch

Spannungen” an einigen freiliegenden Bauteilen im Innem des Gerätes hin.
Um die Gefahr elektrischer Schläge auszuschliessen, Gehäuse auf keinen
Fall abnehmen. Im Innem befinden sich keine vom Benutzer selbst
instandsetz-baren T eile. Rep araturen dürfen nur von einer autorisierten
Fachwerkstatt durchgeführt werden.
Dieses Gerät ist für 230V ~ 50Hz Netzspannung ausgelegt. Bei längerer
Nichtbenutzung des Geräts ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
Setzen Sie das Gerät weder Feuchtigkeit noch Regen aus.
Der EIN-Schalter dieses Geräts ist an den Sekundärschaltkreis angeschlossen. Seine Abschaltung unterbricht die Hauptstromzufuhr des Geräts
nichts.
Schalten Sie das System erst dann ein, wenn Sie alle Verbindungen genau
geprüft haben.
Stellen Sie das Gerät so auf, dass immer eine ungestörte Frischluftzufuhr
sichergestellt ist. Es ist zum beispiel keinesfalls auf T eppiche und in der
Nähe von Gardinen zu stellen oder in Bücherregale einzubauen.
Setzen Sie das Gerät weder direkter Sonneneinstrahlung noch
Wärmequellen aus.

STROMANSCHLUSS
Bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten, vergewissern Sie sich, daß Ihre örtliche
Netzspannung mit der Betriebsspannung auf dem Typenschild
übereinstimmt.
Zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit lesen Sie bitte aufmerksam die folgenden
Anweisungen, bevor Sie das Gerät ans Netz anschließen.

Dieses Gerät funktioniert nur mit Wechselstrom (AC) 230V 50Hz. Wenn Sie
das Gerät an andere Stromquellen anschließen, könnte es beschädigt werden.
ACHTUNG!
Um elektrischen Schlägen vorzubeugen, trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz
ab, bevor Sie den Deckel entfernen. Im Innern befinden Sich keine vom
Benutzer verwendbaren Teile. Bei Problemen wenden Sie sich bitte an
qualifiziertes Kundendienstpersonal.
