When you first unpack the RAC340 from the box, the battery only has a minimum charge. Using the included 110 volt AC wall outlet adaptor. Plug the unit into the 12 volt DC Input. The Battery Condition Indicator Lights will indicate that the battery has begun to charge. A full charge is usually achieved in about 24-72 hours.

The GREEN Battery Condition Indicator Lights will both be lit when the RAC340 has received a full charge.
1. Insert the small plug on the end of the DC charging adaptor into the 12V DC input on the side of the unit.
2. Start the vehicle, then plug theother end of the adapter into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter making sure it has good contact by rotating.
3. The red charging indicator will light when the unit is recharging.
4. The unit will be fully charged when the 2 green lights are lit.
When recharging the unit with your vehicle never plug the adapter into the cigarette lighter when the vehicle is not running, doing so will drain the vehicle’s battery.
1. The locking nozzle on the end of the air hose can be attached to most valve stems or to any of the 3 adaptors supplied.
2. For use with a valve stem, place the locking air nozzle over the end of the valve stem, make sure the valve stem is fully inserted, then move the lever on the locking air nozzle to the locked position.
2a. For use with one of the supplied adaptors, fully insert the threaded end of the adaptor into the locking air nozzle, then move the lever on the locking air nozzle to the locked position.
3. Turn on the RAC340 air compressor unit with the switch located on the side of the RAC340.
4. Hold the air hose in place, watch the air pressuregauge on the top of the RAC340, when the desired air pressure based on manufacturers recommended specification is reached turn off the compressor.
5. Disconnect the air hose from the item that has been inflated.
6. Store air compressor in safe place. Keep away from children.
Operating the Air Compressor
1. Remove the protective socket cover from the 12 volt DC outlet on the side of the RAC340.
2. Insert the 12 volt DC plug from your accessory into the 12 volt DC socket on the side of the RAC340.
3. Turn on the 12volt DC power with the switch on the side of the RAC340.
4. Turn your accessory "ON" according to the manufacturers' instructions and safety precautions.
The RAC340 can be used to power 12 volt DC accessories that have a power cord with a cigarette lighter plug, and overload protection.
Using 12 Volt DC Socket

ROADMASTER USA CORP. warrants, to the original purchaser, that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for 30 days from the date of original purchase. As part of our commitment to product excellence ROADMASTER USA CORP. routinely improves the designs, materials or production methods of its existing products. Because it is impractical to publicize all changes in every product, we reserve the right to make such changes without notice.
CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY: If during the 30-day warranty period your new product is found to be defective, ROADMASTER USA CORP. will repair such defect, or replace the product, without charge for parts or labor subject to the following conditions:
1. All repairs must be performed by ROADMASTER USA CORP. in Eatontown, New Jersey.
2. The equipment must not have been altered or been damaged through negligence, accident, or improper operation.
3. The replacement of parts are exempted from this warranty when replacement is necessary due to normal wear and tear.
4. All warranty claims must be accompanied by a copy of the sales receipt or bill of sale.
5. Repair or replacement parts supplied by ROADMASTER USA CORP. under this warranty are protected only for the unexpired portion of the original warranty.
6. In the case of car stereos, this warranty does not extend to the elimination of car static or motor noise; correction of antenna problems; costs incurred for the removal or reinstallation of the product; damage to tapes, speakers, accessories or car electrical systems.
7. ROADMASTER USA CORP. will not be responsible for any charge incurred for installation.

In order to provide you with the proper warranty service, we request that you adhere to the following procedure:
1. Include a copy of your sales receipt or bill of sale with your unit when it is returned for warranty service.
2. If it is necessary to return your product for service, please return it securely packed, preferably in the original shipping carton, and freightand insurance prepaid to the following address: ROADMASTER USA CORP., Service Department, 6 G Industrial Way West, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724.
3. Please include a detailed explanation of the problem you are having.
4. If your product is found by ROADMASTER USA CORP. to have a defect in material or workmanship, within the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge and returned to you prepaid. Where permitted by Iaw ROADMASTER USA CORP.’S liability shall be limited to that set forth in this warranty. This warranty shall be the exclusive remedy of the purchaser.
ROADMASTER USA CORP. makes no other warranty of any kind, expressed or implied; and all implied warranties, are hereby disclaimed by ROADMASTER USA CORP. and excluded from this warranty, ROADMASTER USA CORP., the manufacturer, distributor and seller shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, incidental or consequential, arising out of the use or intended use of the product.

Charging with 12V DC Adaptor
1. Insert the small plug on the end of the DC charging adaptor into the 12V DC input on the side of the unit.
2. Start the vehicle, then plug theother end of the adapter into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter making sure it has good contact by rotating.

3. T o us e the light as a work light, move the s witch one more clic k, to the top pos ition, and the light will turn fully on, to be us e d as a work light.
4. T o cha nge the light bulb, re move the lens from the unit, turn the light bulb to the le ft, then pull light out of s oc ke t. P la c e s upplie d repla c ement bulb in s oc ket a nd turn to the right.
