The socket strips are available in numerous variants incorporating different functional elements.
Special attention has been devoted to practical, universal fastening: Variable attachment facilities have
been created with an angle bracket which may be inserted in four positions.

Socket strips
Rittal offers a range of different socket strips for industrial applications. The socket strips are based on a robust aluminium
section and are suitable for mounting on the enclosure frame,
on a mounting plate or, in some cases, even in a 19" rack.
The products comply with the following specifications:
◾ IEC/EN 60950-1
◾ Directive 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage Directive)
◾ Directive 2014/30/EU (EMC Directive), 7240.301 only
◾ VDE (earthing-pin socket strips only, except DK 7240.260)
The following product features are shared by the whole socket
strip range 7240.XXX:
◾ Socket strips in anodised aluminium channel (U-section) with
plastic inserts
◾ With a screw-fastened mounting bracket of spray-finished
sheet steel, for swivel-mounting at a 90° angle (assembly
parts included with supply)
◾ Mounting brackets with slots for flexible mounting on a
25 mm pitch pattern
◾ Enclosure dimensions:
Height: 44.45 mm, 1 U
Depth: 44.45 mm, 1 U
Length: Depending on the design
◾ Earthing-pin sockets CEE 7/3, DIN 49 440
◾ For versions with safety sockets, these have a space-saving
45° angle arrangement
◾ CEE 7/5 sockets to UTE (French standard)
◾ IEC socket strips to IEC/EN 60320-2-2 (Form F, 250 V/10 A)
◾ For versions with connection cables, this is interchangeable
(terminals in socket strip profile)
◾ Certifications: RoHS, CE (VDE for selected strips)
◾ Protection category IP 20 to IEC 60529
