GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The NOVA 50 is a Pendant Transmitter
used with Rokonet’s Programmable
Receiver to signal emergency situations.
Each unit is preset at the factory by one
of more then 16 million pseudo randomly
selected possible codes, thus eliminating
the need for DIP switches.
The unit is powered by a standard 12-volt
battery and is easily carried on the body
via a metal necklace supplied with the unit.

COMMUNICATION SETUP
The NOVA 50 must initially identify itself
to the system’s receiver by writing its coded
message into the receiver’s address
memory. This is accomplished by perforing
the following steps:
1.Follow the WRITE MODE procedure
described in the Receiver Installation
and Operation Manual. Send a WRITE
message by pressing the transmitter
2.Follow the Communication Check
3.Set the receiver to Normal Mode.
