These Steps
3
Steps 1 & 2
Step 1: With the help of an assistant, lay the work-
surface(s) 1 on a protected surface with the pilot holes
facing up. If your worksurface has a seam, lay the
joiner plate 2 centered on the seam and about 3"
from the front. Attach it with (8) wood screws 3 .
No pilot holes are provided. Do not over-tighten the
screws. Use a low torque setting on the power driver.
Step 2: Place all (3) leg assemblies 4 on the
worksurface aligning the holes in the worksurface
supports with the pilot holes in the worksurface
4
1 . See page 2 to determine the locations of Leg A
and Leg B. The motor boxes must face the inside
of the workstation. Do not allow the leg assemblies
to stand without support. They can tip over and the
gear housing could crack. Be
careful to not pinch the wires
between the motor boxes and
the worksurface 1 . The
1
grommets on the motor wires
should be in the square notches
on the back of the motor boxes.
3
See Detail A. Attach the leg
assemblies to the worksurface
with (6) wood screws 3 in
each. Leave the screws loose
by about 1/8". You need to
2
adjust the legs when installing
the wire management channel.

Step 3: Your workstation may have two different
sizes of wire management channel 5 . Determine
the correct locations of the channels according to
the length and width of the worksurface(s). Slide
apart the channel until the holes near the ends of
it align with the holes in the motor boxes on the
desk side of the workstation. Place the flat side of
the channel against the motor boxes. Insert (4)
socket screws 6 through the holes near the ends of
the channel and thread them into the weld nuts inside
the motor boxes. See Detail B. Fully tighten. Fully
tighten the wood screws 3 holding the desk side leg
assemblies to the worksurface 1 . Attach the channel
to the worksurface with (5-10) wood screws 3 through
the front flange of the channel. Fully tighten. Keep
the wood screws at the end of the slots.

Step 4: Attach the other wire management channel 5
to the third leg 4 on the return side of the table. See
Detail B on Page 5. Fully tighten all of the screws.
Fully tighten the(6) wood screws 3 attaching the third
leg to the worksurface 1 . Attach the wire management
channel to the worksurface with (4-10) wood screws 3 .
Step 5: Place (2) black flat washers 7 on (2) black
machine screws 8 . Insert these through the slots in
one of the outer wire management sections and thread
them into the cage nuts pre-installed near the end of the
inner wire management section. See Detail C. Use any
(2) cage nuts that are accessible. Fully tighten. Repeat
Step 5 with the remaining wire management channel.

recex screws 10 . Align the holes in the switch 9 with
the pilot holes in the worksurface. Attach it with (2)
recex drive screws 10 . The switch and control box
can be installed anywhere on the worksurface, wire
lengths permitting. Capture the switch wire in the cable clamp 12 and attach it in the
location shown with (1) wood screw 3 . No pilot hole is provided.
Step 7: Attach the power strip 13 at the suggested location shown. It can be installed

labeled HS on the control box 11 . Plug the motor wires
into the cables and plug the other ends of the cables into
into the receptacles labeled M1, M2, and M3 as shown in
the wiring diagram at left. Place the excess cable inside
the channels.
Step 9: If your workstation will get an optional cross
support(s), plug the unit into a standard 110 volt
receptacle. Push the down arrow until the worksurface
reaches its lowest point and clicks. Push the up arrow
and raise the legs about 12". Install the cross support(s)
using the supplemental instructions that came with the
cross support package(s). Return the legs to the lowest
position and unplug the power.
Step 10: With the help of an assistant, set the workstation upright in its final location. Level the unit if
required by turning the leveling glides clockwise
(from the top) on the low corners of the workstation.
If your workstation has casters, level it by turning
