FRONT SWAY BAR REMOVAL

ENDLINK
1. Remove end links from each side of the vehicle.
2. Support the stock sway bar and remove the brackets that attach the bar to the frame.
3. Remove the bar.
4. Spread a light coat of supplied grease onto the frame mount bushings I.D. and install on the bar with the slit side of the bushing facing to the front. Install the brackets over the bushings.
5. Attach the front sway bar brackets and bar. Torque to 20ft. lbs.
6. Install the supplied end links. Torque to 13ft. lbs.
Rear Sway Bar Installation
1. Park truck on a level surface and secure the front tires with blocks.
2. Raise rear end and place axle on jack stands.
3. Assemble the dog bones and upper frame brackets on the rear bar. NOTE: Lightly
pre-grease all pivot points with supplied grease. Note hardware placement in picture. Also see attached page.

4. Lift the brake lines to allow the U-bolts to pass under. Place the U-bolt around axle
and in the center of the rear shock brackets. Hang the assembled sway bar onto the axle placing the U-bolts thru the axle brackets and the bushing brackets. (NOTE: one extra pair of hands is recommended for this operation.)

5. Make sure the axle brackets are parallel to the ground and snug the U-bolts around
the axle.

6. Rotate the assembled sway bar up until the frame brackets contact the frame. Check
to make sure the frame brackets are centered on the frame rails and the dog bones are somewhat at a 90 degree angle to the sway bar. Mark the frame and drill 7/16” holes. Use supplied hardware kit # T1711 to attach the frame bracket to the frame. Torque to 20 ft. lbs.

7. Double check for clearance around the sway bar at all brackets on the axle. Check
that the “arms” on the sway bar are “close” to parallel to the ground.
8. Torque the dog bone bolts to 30 – 40 ft. lbs. Torque the U-bolts to 30 – 40 ft. lbs.
