Installation Instructions
******Must be used w/ RideTech shock kit******
1. Raise and support car at a safe, comfortable working height. Let the front suspension
hang freely.
2. Remove coil spring and shock absorber. Refer to factory service manual for proper disassembly
procedure.
3. For air spring clearance some
trimming must be done around the coil
spring pocket. This is what it should look
like after cutting.
4. This is best done with a cut off wheel
or plasma cutter. Grind all cuts smooth
when finished.
5. Insert a straight air fitting into the air
spring using thread sealant. Place the
upper cup onto the studs on the air
spring and tighten using two 3/8” nyloc
and flat washers. Thread the 8” stud into
the nut in the bottom of the air spring
cup.
6. Install the air spring assembly into the
coil spring pocket with the tall side of the
bracket towards the wheel. With the
stud protruding through the OEM shock
hole secure the assembly with a 7/16”
flat washer and Nylok. (The airline must
also be routed at this time.)

7. Bolt the lower air spring plate to the
lower arm using 3/8” x 1” bolts, flat
washers and Nylok nuts. The two outer
holes will align with the factory bump
stop holes. The inner two holes must be
drilled. Bolt the air spring to the lower
plate using 3/8” x ¾” bolts, flat washers
and lock washers.
8. Double check air spring clearance
through full suspension travel. If any
part of the air spring touches the frame
at anytime it will damage the unit. This
is not a warrantable situation.
9. The driving height of the car is
determined by the height of the air
spring. This air spring should be
approximately 5.5” tall at ride height.
This may vary slightly to driver
preference.
