CAUTION

DO NOT INSTALL THE RICOH (OEM) INKS THAT WERE PROVIDED WITH THE PRINTER.

DO NOT POWER ON THE PRINTER BEFORE INSTALLING SAWGRASS SUBLIJET-R INK CARTRIDGES.

DURING DOWNTIME, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO LEAVE THE PRINTER POWERED ON TO ALLOW
THE RICOH AUTOMATIC MAINTENANCE UTILITIES TO KEEP THE PRINT HEAD NOZZLES

CLEAR.

SECTIONS:

There are two steps required to complete the installation
and conguration process for the SubliJet-R PowerDriver
V4 to work with the Ricoh SG7100DN printer. Complete
both as described below for optimum results.

Steps:

1) Download, install and register the SubliJet-R PowerDriver V4

2) Congure your design software* (i.e. CorelDRAW, PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc.)

3) Using the Sawgrass color palette*

Notes:

a) PowerDriver V4 is only compatible with Windows versions 7 and 8.

b) The Ricoh OEM printer driver is now automatically installed.

* Step 1 is included in this document. Steps 2 and 3 are located on the Sublijet-R SG7100DN
PowerDriver V4 Installation and Conguration webpage on sawgrassink.com and can be accessed
by the link provided above.

Step 1 of 2: PowerDriver V4 Download & Installation

The following instructions explain how to download, install and register the SubliJet-R SG 7100DN
PowerDriver V4 on a computer running Windows 7. These instructions feature Internet Explorer 10.
Your experience may differ based on the operating system and internet browser being used.

1) Locate the Sawgrass Technologies website by entering sawgrassink.com in the address eld of your
web browser. Once there, hold the mouse arrow over Technical Support in the menu bar. From
the drop down list that appears select SubliJet-R, Ricoh SG 7100DN then Windows 7 and 8 (see
FIGURE 1).

2) Click on the Installation & Conguration Instructions button (see FIGURE 2).

3) Once on the appropriate Installation and Conguration Instructions webpage for your setup, click on the
link in Step 3, Download and install the Ricoh Driver and Sawgrass PowerDriver V4 (see FIGURE 3).

4) On the webpage that appears, click the link for the Ricoh SG 7100DN in the PowerDriver section
(see FIGURE 4).

Note: At anytime during the download and installation process, your rewall or virus protection

software may present warnings. Make the appropriate selections necessary to continue.

5) The following window will appear asking if you want to Run, Save or Cancel. Click Save (see FIGURE 5).

Do you want to run or save SJR_7100_US_v1.0a27.exe (13.7MB) from sawgrassles.bluekeyinc.com?

6) The le will begin downloading into the Downloads folder on your computer. When complete, the
download message at the bottom of the screen will give you the option to Run, Open or View

downloads. Click Run (see FIGURE 6).

The SJR_7100_US_v1.0a27.exe download has completed.

7) Select the appropriate language and click OK to continue (see FIGURE 7).

8) Verify that the PowerDriver is for the correct printer. If so, click Next (see FIGURE 8).
