DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
To filter out the electrical noise fro m the tray lock sole no id, the diod e harness has been added.
The color of the frame ha rne ss co nnector has been changed from whit e to blue to match its color with the facing
connector of the diode harness.

If the disengagement of the clutch is physically delayed, the paper may occasionally be
overfed, reaching the relay roller. This may lead to jams and/or Z-fold ing in the registration
area.
To ensure quick clutch disengagement, a zener diode has been installed in the clutch
connector. (Current clutches have a diode in the connector.) The zener diode will reverse
the magnetic field to force the armature to be released quickly when the clutch is
electrically de-energized.
