Character Input
You can input characters when making the communication settings (mail
address, title, message, etc.) as explained below.
■ Inputting
A Select the item and press the
button to display the character input
screen.
B Select the desired character by using
the · · · buttons and press
the FUNCTION button.
C Press the ENTER button to exit the
character input screen.
■ Deleting
In step B above use the · · · buttons to move the cursor on the
right position of the character to be deleted and press the button.

Troubleshooting
In the case of misoperation or when processing cannot be performed due to
some problem, an error message will be displayed. This section explains the
causes of problems and how to remedy them.

Upload or FTP Upload and resend.
Communication card has not been inserted. Insert
it to card slot.

Check communication card setting (modem
setting). If message still appears, remove
communication card and reinsert it.

connected to communiation card. Connect cable
