Two pieces of the cushion shee t (#4 8 ) have be en stuck on the ent rance guide plate - lower (#17) an d two pieces of the cushion (#49) have been stuck on the entrance guide plate - upper (#13). These are to reduce noise whe n the junction pawls touch th e en trance guide plates. The shap e of the welded bracket for gu ide rollers (#47) on both the upper and lower entrance guide plates have also been chan ge d as sho wn. This is to fix supp ort guid e plates when installing this sorte r st apler on anoth er copier in the future. The part numbers have not been cha ng ed.

When the front door of the MATT20 or t he MA TT20 itself is opened or closed, a rush current will run into the interface cable betwee n the main frame and the MATT20, lowering voltage of the logic circuit. When the MATT20 is installed on a new mod el, F400 , th is will make the MATT20 malfunction. To prevent this problem with the F400 a rush current preven tio n circuit will be added in the main control board. The software will also be modif ied to operate the MATT20 wit h th e F400.
