DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
To facilitate servicing, the toner supply bracket [A] and the toner supply clutch stopper [B] have been combined into one part [C], and the shape of the bushing was changed as shown.
The old and new parts are not interchangeable. They are interchangeable as a set.
(Please use the new parts when the old parts are replaced.) To facilitate servicing, the toner supply clutch assembly has been resistered as a service part.

DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
Dog ear may appear on the leading edge of paper. This is caused by the curled leading edge [A] contacting the paper guide [B] on the fusing cover. This problem tends to occur in the duplex mode. The length of the paper guide of the fusing cover has been extended by 10 mm as shown.

1.The number of the LEDs has been changed from 35 pcs to 43 pcs.
2.The main board has been modified for the new erase function.
The old and new part are not interchangeable individually, but they are interchangeable as a set .
NOTE: To make distinguishing the new part from the old one easier, the color of the connectors of the era ser
and on the main board has been changed from "White" to "Blue".

DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
If the DF harness is not routed properly, the rear cover may press the DF harness against the interface board when the rear cover is closed. This might cause the interface board connector to come off from the main board connector, which would clear RAM memory.
To ensure the connection, the rubber cushion has been adhered on the main board as shown in the illustration.
NOTE: The DF harness must be routed correctly. Please refer to RTB No. 002 for the details.

To facilitate servicing, the spectral characteristics of the filter on the dust proof glass has been changed. The light intensity passing through the filter has been increased. With the new filter, the adjustment value of the SP mode #48 (exposure lamp intensity adjustment) at the factory has been decreased. This increases the adjustment rarge of SP mode #48 in the field.

DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
The PG gap is preset with special tools at the factory and the screws securing the drum support plat e and front drum side plate are paint locked. Basically, those parts should not be removed except when they are being replaced.
To make part replacement easier, the service parts have been changed as follows:
The drum support plate assembly, consisting of the drum side plate and the front drum side plate, ha instead of the component parts. (For the details, please refer to RTB #4.) The drum support plate an longer abailable as service parts.
