DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
As a temperary countermeasure against electrical noise caused by counter-electromotive force from the main and exhaust
motors, two ferrite cores were placed on the ac harnesses at the factory. (For the details, please refer to MB #31 and RTB #4.)
As a permanent countermeasure, three noise killers (CR402 to 404) are now being added to the ac drive board circuit as
shown below. (the ferrite cores are removed from the ac harnesses when the noise killers are added.).
NOTE: The ferrite core (16070478) is still registered as a service part to correct this problem in the field.

DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
To prevent erratic malfunction, the ac drive board has been modified. For the details, please refer to MB
#32. The erratic malfunction may occur when the main board is replaced on a machine that does not have
the modified ac drive board. To reduce the chance of erratic malfunction, the following main board kit has
been registered as a service part.

DETAILS OF MODIFICATION
With the old pad holder, the leading edge of the paper might enter the gap between the cassette bottom plate and the pad holder, as
in the figure below. This causes a paper jam. To prevent this problem, the shape of the pad holder tip has been changed in order to
decrease the gap, and as a result it will h elp the paper feed in more smoothly.
