Jump start instructions:

Connect intelligent jump star t cables to jump
start socket (1) on Multi-Function Battery

Blue connector plug must be secure and fully
seated within the socket
Be sure red/green LED indicators on jump star t

cable module are OFF

Connect RED cable clamp to positive (+)
battery terminal on vehicle

Connect BLACK cable clamp to negative (-)
battery terminal on vehicle
When connected, check LED indicators on

module and proceed as follows:

- vehicle batter y is low - press/hold
BOOST but ton on module until green LED

When motor starts, remove clamps immediately
from battery terminals - leave motor running
Charge Multi-Function Jump Starter:
Connect Dual voltage AC wall adapter to AC wall outlet, or

Connect DC car adapter to cigarette lighter port in ve hicle

Connect round-pin cable to Multi-Function Jump Starter input port (4).
Four LEDs (9) flash in 25% increments and remain solid when corresponding

capacity is reached.
When fully charged, all 4 solid LEDs shut of f - Remove charge cable.

Note: For optimum per form ance, ma ke sure all LEDs have stopped flashing and remain solid
to ensure full charge capacit y. Total recharg e time (0% - 100%) = about 6 hours.
Notes for jump starting 12V vehicle batteries:
• For best performance when starting vehicles, use Multi-Function Jump Sta rter
at 75% charge capacity (3 LEDs) or higher.
• DO NOT connect jump start cable clamps to wrong +/- batter y terminals —
RED = (+) positive / BLACK = (-) negative
• DO NOT connect jump starter RED/BL ACK cable clamps together
• Make sure Multi-Function Jump Starter cable clamps are connected securely
to battery terminals
• Always remove clamps within 30 seconds af ter motor starts
• Check battery terminals for rust, dir t and corrosion before using Multi-Func-
tion Jump Starter — clea n if necessary to avoid poor per formance
• DO NOT jump start again af ter 3 attempts to avoid damaging Smar t Jump

cable included with your own devi ce. Multi-device USB charge cable can c harge
more than one device at a time via one USB port using either the Ap ple 30-pin,
8-pin, or m icro-USB connectors. C harge times may take longe r in this m ode.

Q: How to shut of f Multi- Function Jump Star ter?
A: Multi-Function batter y shuts off automatically when no load is detected or
when it has recharged. When charging devices, remove charge cable from
device or Multi-Function batter y to shut off battery.
Q: How long does it take to recharg e Multi-Fu nction Ju mp Starter?
A: About 6 hours through its 15V-1A charge input port (4).
Q: How many ti mes can Multi-Funct ion Jump St arter charge my
smartphone?
A: Total number varies depending upon smar tphone batter y capacity. For
example, a fully charged Multi-Function batter y can charge iPhone 6
about 7-8 times before it needs charging.
Q: How long does it ta ke to recharge a notebook computer from a fu lly
charged battery?
A: About 4-6 hours.
Troubleshooting
Problem: No response when Multi-Function power button
is pressed
Cause: Battery is low on power / low voltage protection
mode activated
Solution: Plug AC or Car charger into 15V 1A port (4) and
recharge the bat tery
Problem: Multi-Function Jump Star ter feels
hot when charging a notebook computer
Cause: Charging current is high (3.5A)
Solution: Remove notebook battery and use
Multi-Function battery to supply power directly
or disconnect Multi-Finction battery and
reconnect when devices are cool.
Q: How many ti mes will Multi- Function batt ery jump star t my car before
it needs charging?
A: Up to 40 times depending upon battery and starting conditions. For best
performance, jump start vehicles when Multi-Function battery reads 75%
charge capacity (3 solid LEDs) or higher.
Q: What is the lifetime for Multi-Function Jump Starter?
A: Up to 5 years.
Q: How often should Multi-Function Jump Starter be recharged?
A: A fully charged unit will hold its charge for 6-12 months. Recharge ever y 3
months in storage.
Note: It’s a good idea to top up the charge as often as you want — keeping it
fully charged is fine. No need to wait till depleted.
