Bluetooth® Setup Instructions

This document is used with Rice Lake’s SD-1150-WP medical scales that have Bluetooth capability. Bluetooth
technology is the ideal wireless technology for connecting health and fitness devices because it’s simple, secure
and everywhere. Bluetooth allows the transfer of data from the scale wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled devices
such as cell phones, tablets, PDA or PCs.

The steps used to pair the scale will vary, depending on the device/software being used. The scale is set up to be
discoverable at all times and general guidelines are outlined below.
