Quick Start Guide Ranger™ 3000

Primary Function

 Turns scale on  Sets display to zero

 Turns the scale off

 Selects/accepts displayed

setting

 Sends the current value to

the selected COM ports if AUTOPRINT is set to Off.

 Toggles through active

weighing units

 Advances to the next

menu or menu item.

 Rejects the current setting

on the display and advances to the next available setting

 Initiates an application

mode

 Allows changing the

application mode

 Returns to previous menu

item

 Accumulates the weight

and displays the accumulated information at 0 load.

 Enters User menu

 Quickly exit User Menu.  Aborts calibration in

progress

 Enter/clear a tare value.

Clears the accumulation when the accumulation information is displayed.

Controls – Ranger 3000

Notes: 1 Short Press: Press less than 1 second.

Long Press: Press and hold for more than 2 seconds.

 Accept the

current menu or setting.

 Accept the current

 Send the displayed

value to the COM port

 Change the weighing

unit.

 Advance to the

next menu or setting.

 Increment the

displayed value.

 Advance to the

next library or setting.

 Increment the

displayed value.

 Initiate the function

of the current application mode.

 Switch between

Check Weigh, Check Count and Off.

 Previous menu  Decrement the

displayed value.

 Previous library  Decrement the

displayed value.

 Accumulate the

weight or pieces.

 Enter user menu.  View the Audit Trail

event counters

 Exit the menu.  Abort the

calibration

 Exit the library.  ID number input

 Display/Store APW

 Enter numeric

values on the display.

 Enter dot (.) on the

display.

 Switch between

scale 1 and scale 2

 Clear last character

from the display.

 Switch between

positive and negative value

 Perform a tare

operation.

 Display/Start APW
