IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read the safety warnings carefully and only use the product as described in these instructions to
prevent accidental injury, damage or fire. Keep this manual for future reference.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE FIRST USE.
::: This appliance should not be used by children. Keep appliance out of reach of children and pets.
Close adult supervision is necessary when used near children.
::: For outdoor use only.
::: CAUTION never pour or introduce ignition gel, liquid or object into the central opening of the fan.
This may cause irreversible damage to the product and presents a fire hazard.
::: Always use on a solid, flat surface.
::: Ignite the barbecue away from trees and any flammable objects.
::: Never add ignition fluid directly to burning or hot charcoal.
::: This product shouldn’t be moved after ignition.
::: If the product is dropped it may cause fire or severe injury.
::: Do not use knives, sharp-edged and/or metal utensils as they may scratch and lead to irreversible
damages to the non-stick surface.
::: Do not leave the appliance unattended.
::: Never put cold water on the hot griddle. Let it cool down on its own before cleaning.
::: Let the charcoal burn up completely and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
::: Remove ashes only when cooled down and pour into a non-flammable container.
::: Always use the lifting tool to move all baskets and the griddle.
::: CAUTION Do not touch the griddle and metallic parts during cooking and not until they have
cooled down to reduce risk of burns.
::: For better non-stick performance, it is recommended to lightly oil the griddle before each use.
::: Over time, the handle on lid may gradually become loose. Retighten as needed for continued
safeuse.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1- Read all instructions and important safeguards.
2- Remove all packaging materials and ensure that all items have been received in good
condition. Ensure no packaging materials remain on any pieces of the product.
3- Tear up all plastic bags as they can pose a risk to children.
4- Wipe the interior and the exterior of the main body with a soft damp cloth. NEVER IMMERSE
THE MAIN BODY IN WATER. It will cause serious damage to the product.
5- Wash all other parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
NOTE: Never use metal scouring pads, abrasive cleaners or any other object that could scratch
when cleaning the non-stick griddle.
BATTERIES
::: Uses four AA batteries (not included).
::: I
nsert four AA batteries into the battery compartment located on the lower rear side
of the main body.
::: Remove batteries from the product when stored for an extended period.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
1- Place charcoal container support (1) onto the centre of the main body.
2- Then, place the charcoal container (2) onto the support .
3- Finally, place the fat collector (3) onto the main body. Pour 1 cup (250 ml) of water into the fat
collector to avoid oil and grease from sticking and prevent smoke from forming.

It is important to follow the above assembly steps to prevent ignition gel, any liquid or ashes to
leak/fall into the central opening of the fan, which may cause irreversible damage to the product
and presents a fire hazard.

HOW TO USE THE PORTABLE BBQ
1- ASSEMBLY AND IGNITION
OPTION 1: Using self-ignition charcoal briquets (recommended)
::: Assemble the product as explained in the previous section.
::: Place self-ignition charcoal briquets into the charcoal container (do not
fill the container beyond its top edge). Using a long lighting device, ignite
thebriquets.

OPTION 2: Using charcoal briquet
IMPORTANT DO NOT use lighter fluid or liquid. Only use gelled fuel such as fondue fuel gel.
::: For this step, ensure the charcoal container support is removed from the
main body.
::: Add a maximum of 1 tsp (5 ml) of gelled fuel into the charcoal
container support.
::: Switch on the fan by turning the fan control switch clockwise to maximum.
::: Wait until the charcoal turns a grey-white colour and continue to section 2
for the grill plate preheating.
::: Place the charcoal container support onto the centre of the main body
CAUTION while placing the support onto the main body, ensure no gel leaks
into the central opening of the fan. This may cause irreversible damage to the
product and presents a fire hazard.
::: Using a long lighting device, ignite the gel.
::: Place charcoal briquets into the charcoal container.
::: Using the gripper, slowly place the charcoal container into the charcoal
container support. Then place the oil collector onto the main body.
::: Switch on the fan by turning the fan control switch clockwise to maximum.
::: Wait until the charcoal turns a grey-white colour.

2- GRILL PLATE PREHEATING AND COOKING
::: Using the lifting tool, add the grill plate and cover with the lid.
::: Preheat the grill plate for a maximum of 2 to 5 minutes. Remove the lid, add oil to season
thegrill plate and place food to start cooking. Adjust the fan speed to obtain the desired
grilltemperature.
WARNING preheat period must not exceed 5 minutes to avoid premature degradation of the non-
stick grill plate.
NOTE :
::: The griddle is NOT reversible and should never be used upside down. The non-stick coating
would be too closed to hot briquets and may cause irreversible damages to the non-stick surface.
::: Do not lift the griddle with food and wait until the griddle has cooled down before moving it
with the lifting tool.
::: Stains, discoloration and minor scratches may appear on the non-stick griddle, these constitute
normal use and are not covered by the warranty.
CLEANING
::: Wash before first use.
::: Following use, always wait until the griddle and the metallic parts have completely cooled
down before attempting to clean.
::: Never put cold water on the hot griddle.
::: Do not immerse the main body in water. Wipe the interior and the exterior of the main body
with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
::: All parts (EXCEPT the main body and the griddle) are dishwasher safe.
::: Clean the griddle in warm soapy water.
::: This appliance should be cleaned thoroughly after each use.
::: Store in a dry, clean place.
NOTE : NEVER use metal scouring pads, abrasive cleaners or any other object that could scratch
when cleaning the non-stick griddle.
