MODEL NUMBER EXPLANATION
GENERAL
RCSA- and RCSL- are replacement only uncased
coils. RCSA- replacement coils are used only in
(-)HKA, (-)HLA and (-)HSA R-22 air handlers.
RCSL- replacement coils are used only in (-)HKL,
(-)HLL and (-)HSL R-410A air handlers.
For horizontal applications, a horizontal drip shield
must be installed to catch excess condensate
drainage. RCSA and RCSL replacement coils are
shipped without a horizontal drip shield. For a horizontal adapter kit, refer to Tables 1 and 2 for correct kit matchups.
The drain pan that comes with the RCSA- or
RCSL- Uncased Air Handler Coil is not built
with a high-heat resistant material. Do NOT use
these coils with gas and oil fossil fuel furnaces,
or any other high-heat device. Failure to obey
this warning could result in serious equipment
damage, personal injury or death.
