SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
These service instructions are intended as a guide to correct certain problems that may be encountered.
CAUTION: ALWAYS UNPLUG UNIT WHEN WORKING ON ELECTRICAL ITEMS.
PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Motor does not work A) Battery not charged 1. Charge Battery
B) Blown Fuse 2. Replace Fuse:
Unscrew fuse holder cap located
underneath the power unit. Remover
the bad fuse and replace with the
spare 15 AMP fuse provided with the
unit. Replace the fuse holder cap by
screwing the cap into place.
C) Defective Switch 4. Replace Switch
D) Defective Motor 5. Replace Motor
E) Defective Battery 6. Replace Battery
NOTE: To replace any component inside the Power Unit other than the fuse requires the removal
of the Power Unit Housing Cover.
PROBLEM
1. Lack of Suction or Discharge A) Clogged Screen
C) Loose Fittings
D) Cracked and /or swollen Hose 4. Replace Hose
PROBABLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. If this happens during operation,
reverse the flow of the oil.
B) Hardened oil in pump or
elsewhere
2. Place unit near heat source to
loosen the hardened oil.
3. Check tightness of pump
nipple/sockets and screen.
