• The laminator must be connected to a supply voltage
corresponding to the electrical rating shown on the
machine.
• Unplug the unit before moving it, or when it is not in
use for an extended period of time.
• Do not operate with a damaged supply cord or
plug. Do not alter the attachment plug. The plug is
configured for the appropriate electrical supply.
• Do not overload electrical outlets beyond their
capability.
• Fire or an electric shock could result.
• The unit is intended for indoor use only.
• Never push objects through the housing slots. Do not
spill any liquid of any kind on this product.
• Close supervision is required when this product is
near children.

• Do not place anything in the throat opening of the
machine other than pouch/documents.
• Place unit on a secure and stable work area to prevent
the unit falling and possibly causing personal injury
and damage to the unit.

• Do not block the vent slots, this will cause the machine

Thank you for purchasing the Rexel JOY Laminator. The laminator heats
up to operating temperature and retains its heat so you can laminate
documents without waiting. The machine provides a visual indication when
it is ready to use. Turn o the power and unplug the unit when not in use.
For best lamination results, please use GBC lamination pouches.
Please take a little time to study these instructions to ensure you get the
best results from your machine. Your new laminator may emit a slight odour
during its initial operation. It is normal and will diminish over time.

Do not attempt to service or repair this product yourself.
If the unit becomes jammed or inoperable, immediately
unplug and and dispose of properly.

DO NOT LAMINATE AN EMPTY POUCH.
Never insert the loose end of a pouch first in to the
machine, this could cause the machine to jam. Always
insert the sealed edge first.
Before laminating important or unique documents,
always run a test document and pouch first.
As soon as lamination is completed, remove the sealed
pouch from the rear of the machine and place on a cool
flat surface for cooling to prevent the document from
curling.
Do not block the vent slots, this will cause the machine
to overheat.
Do not cut pouches prior to lamination.

At the end of its useful life, your product is considered to
be WEEE. As such, it is important to note that:
WEEE is not to be disposed of as unsorted municipal
waste. It is to be collected separately such that it can
be disassembled so its components and materials can
be recycled, re-used, and recovered (burned for energy
content in the production of electricity).
Public collection points have been set up by municipalities
for the collection of WEEE, free of charge to you.
Please return your WEEE to the collection facility nearest
your home or oce.
If you have diculty locating a collection facility,
the retailer that sold you the product should accept
your WEEE.
If you are no longer in contact with your retailer, please
contact ACCO for assistance with this matter.
Recycling of WEEE is geared toward protecting the
environment, protecting human health, preserving raw
materials, improving sustainable development, and
ensuring a better supply of commodities in the European
Union. This will be achieved by retrieving valuable
secondary raw materials and reducing the disposal of
waste. You can contribute to the success of these goals by
returning your WEEE to a collection facility.
Your product is marked with the WEEE symbol (wheelie
bin with an X through it). This symbol is to inform you
that the WEEE is not to be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste.

Operation of this machine is guaranteed for one year from date of purchase, subject to normal use. Within the
guarantee period, ACCO Brands Europe will at its own discretion either repair or replace the defective machine free of
charge. Defects due to misuse or use for inappropriate purposes are not covered under the guarantee. Proof of date of
purchase will be required. Repairs or alterations made by persons not authorised by ACCO Brands Europe will invalidate
the guarantee. It is our aim to ensure that our products perform to the specifications stated. This guarantee does not
aect the legal rights which consumers have under applicable national legislation governing the sale of goods.

1 Connect power cord to appropriate power source
(fig. 1).
2 Turn the unit On with the switch located at the front
of the unit (fig. 2).
3 Position the document to be laminated into a GBC
laminating pouch, so that the document is aligned
to the folded sealed edge and the right and left
hand borders are equal (fig. 3).
4 When the ready light turns on insert the pouch and
its contents straight into the machine, leading with
the sealed edge (fig. 4).
5 The laminated item will exit from the rear of the
machine. Once the item is no longer moving, pull it
free from the rear of the machine.
6 Once you have finished, (fig. 5) push the power
switch on the front of the machine O (fig. 6).

Merci d’avoir acheté une plastifieuse Rexel JOY. Elle chaue jusqu’à l’atteinte de la température
de fonctionnement et conserve ecacement la chaleur, vous permettant ainsi de plastifier des
documents sans attendre. L’appareil est équipé d’un voyant lumineux pour indiquer quand il est
prêt à l’emploi. Mettez l’appareil hors tension et débranchez-le en cas d’inutilisation.
Pour optimiser les résultats de plastification, veuillez utiliser les pochettes de plastification GBC.
Veuillez consacrer quelques instants à la lecture de ces instructions pour tirer le maximum de
votre appareil. Il est possible que votre plastifieuse neuve émette une légère odeur lors de sa
première utilisation. Cette odeur est normale et se dissipera dans le temps.

N’insérez jamais, en premier dans l’appareil, le bord non
collé de la pochette, au risque de causer un blocage.
Insérez toujours le document dans l’appareil, le bord
collé en premier.
Eectuez toujours un test de plastification avec un
document et une pochette avant de plastifier des
documents importants ou des originaux.
Dès la fin de la plastification, retirez le document
plastifié à l’arrière de l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir
sur une surface plate et froide afin de l’empêcher de se
recourber.
N’obstruez pas les fentes d’aération, au risque de faire
surchauer l’appareil.
Ne coupez pas les pochettes avant la plastification.
déchets d’équipements électriques et électroniques (DEEE)
À la fin de sa vie utile, votre produit est considéré comme
un déchet d’équipements électriques et électroniques. Il
est alors important de noter ce qui suit :
Les DEEE ne doivent pas être éliminés avec les déchets

Plastifieuse JOY
1 Branchez le cordon d’alimentation à une prise
secteur appropriée (fig. 1).
2 Allumez l’appareil à l’aide de l'interrupteur
d’alimentation situé sur la face avant (fig. 2).
3 Placez le document à plastifier dans une pochette
de plastification GBC en veillant à bien l’aligner
contre le bord collé de la pochette et à le centrer
parfaitement sur la largeur (fig. 3).
4 Lorsque le voyant « prêt à l’emploi » s’allume,
insérez la pochette et son contenu bien droit dans la
plastifieuse, le bord collé en premier (fig. 4).
5 Le document plastifié sort automatiquement à
l’arrière de l’appareil. Une fois que le document
plastifié s’est immobilisé, retirez-le de l’arrière de
l’appareil.
6 Quand vous avez terminé (fig. 5), éteignez l’appareil
en appuyant sur l'interrupteur d'alimentation situé
sur la face avant de l'appareil (fig. 6).

Elektrische Sicherheit
• Das Laminiergerät muss an eine geeignete Stromquelle
(s. Hinweis auf dem Gerät) angeschlossen werden.
• Der Stecker des Geräts muss von der Steckdose
abgezogen werden, bevor das Gerät umgestellt wird,
oder wenn es längere Zeit nicht verwendet wird.
• Das Gerät darf nicht mit einem beschädigten Kabel
oder Stecker betrieben werden. Der Stecker des Geräts
darf nicht verändert werden. Der Stecker ist auf die
jeweilige Stromversorgung ausgelegt.
• Steckdosen nicht über ihre Kapazität hinaus belasten.
Es besteht Brand-/Stromschlaggefahr.
• Das Gerät ist lediglich für den Betrieb in Innenräumen
vorgesehen.
• Keine Gegenstände in die Schlitze des Gehäuses
stecken. Keine Flüssigkeiten auf dem Gerät verschütten.

• Das Gerät ausschließlich zu dem vorgesehenen Zweck
verwenden.
• In die Einführönung des Geräts dürfen nur
Laminiertaschen/Dokumente eingeführt werden.
• Das Gerät zur Vermeidung von Beschädigungen
und Verletzungen auf einer sicheren, stabilen Fläche
aufstellen.
• Sämtliche Warnhinweise und Anweisungen beachten.
• Das Gerät in der Nähe der Steckdose aufstellen, die
Steckdose muss stets gut zugänglich sein.
• Zur Vermeidung einer Überhitzung die Lüftungsschlitze
nicht blockieren.
Einführung
Vielen Dank für den Erwerb des JOY-Laminiergeräts von Rexel. Nach Erreichen der
Betriebstemperatur wird diese aufrechterhalten, sodass das Gerät ohne Wartezeit eingesetzt
werden kann. Der betriebsbereite Zustand des Geräts wird per LED gemeldet. Das Gerät bei
längerer Nichtbenutzung ausschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.
Zur Erzielung der bestmöglichen Laminierergebnisse sollten immer nur GBC-Laminiertaschen
verwendet werden.
Es wird empfohlen, die vorliegende Anleitung sorgfältig durchzulesen, um die Möglichkeiten
des Geräts optimal nutzen zu können. Bei der Inbetriebnahme des Laminiergeräts macht sich
eventuell ein leichter Geruch bemerkbar. Dieser ist unbedenklich und verliert sich mit der Zeit.
Wartung
Das Gerät nicht selbst warten oder instand setzen.
Bei einer Blockade des Geräts bzw. bei endgültiger
Betriebsunfähigkeit den Netzstecker ziehen und das
Gerät ordnungsgemäß entsorgen.
Reinigung
ACHTUNG: VOR REINIGUNG DER

Die Außenseite des Geräts mit einem feuchten

KEINE LEERE LAMINIERTASCHE IN DAS
LAMINIERGERÄT EINFÜHREN.
Laminiertaschen nie mit der nicht versiegelten Kante
zuerst einführen. Dies kann zu einem Stau führen.
Die Taschen stets mit der geschlossenen Kante zuerst
einführen.
Vor dem Laminieren wichtiger Dokumenten oder von
Unikaten stets ein Testdokument mit Laminiertasche
durch das Laminiergerät führen.
Laminierte Dokumente direkt nach der Entnahme zum
Abkühlen auf einer kühlen, ebenen Fläche ablegen,
damit sie sich nicht wellen.
Zur Vermeidung einer Überhitzung des Geräts die
Lüftungsschlitze nicht blockieren.
Die Laminiertaschen vor dem Laminiervorgang nicht
schneiden.
Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte
Nach Ablauf der Nutzungsdauer Ihres Produkts gilt dieses
als Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgerät. Für solche Geräte gilt:
Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte dürfen nicht als
unsortierter Siedlungsabfall entsorgt werden. Sie sind
getrennt zu sammeln, sodass sie demontiert und die
Komponenten und Materialien recycelt, wiederverwendet

Garantie
Der Betrieb des Geräts ist bei normaler Verwendung für ein Jahr ab Kaufdatum gewährleistet. Innerhalb des

instand gesetzt oder ersetzt. Die Garantie deckt keine Mängel aufgrund missbräuchlicher oder unsachgemäßer

JOY-Laminiergerät
1 Das Netzkabel an eine geeignete Stromquelle
anschließen (s. Abb. 1).
2 Gerät über den Betriebsschalter vorn einschalten
(s. Abb. 2).
3 Das zu laminierende Dokument so in eine GBC-
Laminiertasche einlegen, dass es an der versiegelten
Kante anliegt und an dieser ausgerichtet ist und der
rechte und linke Rand gleich breit sind (Abb. 3).
4 Sobald die Betriebsanzeige aufleuchtet,
Laminiertasche und Inhalt mit der versiegelten
Kante nach vorn gerade in das Gerät einführen
(s. Abb. 4).
5 Der fertig laminierte Artikel wird an der Rückseite
des Geräts ausgegeben. Ist die Vorschubbewegung
abgeschlossen, den Artikel an der Geräterückseite
entnehmen.
6 Nach Abschluss der Arbeit (s. Abb. 5) den
Betriebsschalter vorn am Gerät in die Stellung „O“
bringen (s. Abb. 6).

Grazie per aver acquistato la plastificatrice Rexel JOY. La plastificatrice raggiunge la temperatura
di esercizio e mantiene il calore necessario per consentire di plastificare i documenti senza dover
attendere. È dotata di una spia che si accende quando l’unità è pronta per l’uso. Spegnere la
macchina e staccarne la spina dalla presa di corrente quando non se ne prevede l’uso.
Per ottenere risultati e prestazioni ottimali, usare solo pouches per plastificazione GBC.
Leggere attentamente le presenti istruzioni per utilizzare in maniera ottimale la macchina.
Quando è nuova, la plastificatrice potrebbe emanare un leggero odore durante la fase iniziale
del lavoro. Ciò è assolutamente normale e diminuisce nel corso del tempo.

NON INSERIRE POUCHES VUOTE NELLA MACCHINA.
Non inserire mai la pouch nella macchina dal lato non
presigillato in quanto potrebbe causare inceppamenti.
Inserire sempre dal lato presigillato.
Prima di plastificare documenti importanti o in copia
unica, fare sempre una prova inserendo una pouch con
un documento simile.
Al termine dell’operazione di plastificazione, rimuovere
il documento plastificato dalla parte posteriore della
plastificatrice e collocarlo su una superficie fredda
e piatta per farlo rareddare onde evitare eventuali
arricciature.
Non ostruire le fessure di aerazione della macchina in
quanto questo può causarne il surriscaldamento.
Non tagliare le pouches prima della plastificazione del
documento.
rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche (RAEE)
Al termine della loro vita utile, i prodotti acquistati
verranno considerati rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche
ed elettroniche (RAEE) ed è pertanto importante prendere
atto di quanto di seguito riportato.
I RAEE non devono essere smaltiti come rifiuti urbani
misti ma vanno raccolti separatamente in modo tale
da essere smontati per consentire il riciclaggio, riutilizzo
e recupero (come carburante ai fini del recupero di
energia nella produzione di energia elettrica) dei relativi
componenti e materiali.
Punti pubblici di raccolta sono stati predisposti dalle
amministrazioni comunali per la raccolta gratuita dei
RAEE.
I RAEE vanno smaltiti presso il centro di raccolta più
vicino all’abitazione o all’ucio dell’utente.
Qualora si incontrino dicoltà nel trovare un centro di
raccolta abilitato al ricevimento dei RAEE, il rivenditore al
dettaglio presso cui si è acquistato il prodotto dovrebbe
accettare tali rifiuti.
Nel caso in cui l’utente non si sia più in contatto con il
proprio rivenditore, è possibile rivolgersi ad ACCO per
ottenere informazioni a riguardo.
Il riciclaggio dei RAEE è volto a proteggere l’ambiente
e la salute umana, salvaguardare le materie prime,
migliorare lo sviluppo sostenibile e garantire un migliore
approvvigionamento di materie prime nel territorio
dell’Unione europea. Tali obiettivi potranno essere
conseguiti recuperando materie prime secondarie di
valore e riducendo il volume dei rifiuti da smaltire. I
consumatori possono contribuire al raggiungimento di
questi obiettivi provvedendo a smaltire i propri RAEE
presso gli appositi centri di raccolta.
Sui prodotti acquistati è riportato il simbolo RAEE
(cassonetto barrato). Tale simbolo indica che i RAEE non
vanno smaltiti come rifiuti urbani misti.

Plastificatrice JOY
1 Collegare il cavo di alimentazione a una fonte
appropriata di alimentazione (Fig. 1).
2 Accendere la macchina utilizzando l’interruttore
posizionato sulla parte frontale dell’unità (Fig. 2).
3 Inserire il documento da plastificare in una pouch
GBC in modo che sia allineato con il lato presigillato
della pouch ed equidistante da entrambi i margini
della stessa (Fig. 3).
4 Quando la Spia Pronto si accende, inserire la pouch
con il documento da plastificare nell’imboccatura
della macchina, dal lato presigillato (Fig. 4).
5 Il documento plastificato fuoriesce dal retro della
plastificatrice. Quando il documento non è più in
movimento, rimuoverlo dal retro della macchina.
6 Al termine dell’operazione (Fig. 5), premere
l'interruttore di alimentazione sulla parte frontale
della macchina per spegnerla (Fig. 6).

• De lamineermachine moet worden aangesloten op
een netspanning die overeenkomt met de nominale
spanningswaarde die op de machine staat aangegeven.
• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u de
machine verplaatst of wanneer deze langere tijd niet
wordt gebruikt.
• Gebruik de machine niet met een beschadigd snoer
of een beschadigde stekker. Probeer de stekker nooit
te wijzigen. De stekker is samengesteld voor de juiste
netvoeding.
• Belast de stopcontacten niet boven de toegestane
capaciteit. Dit kan brand of een elektrische schok
veroorzaken.
• De machine is alleen bedoeld voor gebruik binnenshuis.
• Duw geen voorwerpen door de gleuven in de behuizing.

Hartelijk dank voor de aankoop van de JOY-lamineermachine van Rexel. De lamineermachine
wordt verwarmd tot de bedrijfstemperatuur wordt bereikt en deze temperatuur wordt
vervolgens gehandhaafd, zodat u uw documenten kunt lamineren zonder dat u hoeft te
wachten. Zodra de machine gebruiksklaar is, gaat een lampje branden. Schakel de machine
uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer u de machine niet gebruikt.
Voor de beste lamineerresultaten gebruikt u lamineertassen van GBC.
Lees deze aanwijzingen goed door, zodat u met deze machine de beste resultaten behaalt.
Het is mogelijk dat u bij deze nieuwe lamineermachine in eerste instantie een vreemde geur
ruikt. Dit is normaal en de geur zal in de loop van de tijd afnemen.

Probeer nooit zelf onderhoud of reparaties aan dit
product uit te voeren. Als de machine verstopt raakt of
onbruikbaar wordt, haalt u onmiddellijk de stekker uit
