Assembly instructions
Push the pins slightly out from one side with a pin tool p/n 12937-001 and pull them out using e.g. tweezers. Take out the battery door and
the microphone lters.
Note: Filters need to be changed every time.
HI complete (without tubing)
Carefully push on the stud to separate the frame from the housing and then pull out the frame.

Frame preparation 10A
Insert sound outlet p/n 15071400. Push until click-stop.
Ensure that the at side of the sound outlet is correctly aligned with the frame.
Guide the green wire carefully through the hole in the frame and press gently the spring into place.
Insert negative battery spring.

Fit the hybrid screen into the frame.
Add loctite 420 along the 3 sides of the screen to
x it to the frame.

Note: Make sure that the microphone is turned right. The wires must be turned towards the back mic suspension as shown on the drawing.
Microphone complete
Use service tool (heat zink) when soldering the microphone wires.
Brush EGC-1700 coating to the solder points and let dry for 15 sec
- then brush once more.

Pull the receiver through the suspension as shown and press it to the front of the suspension. Make sure the
receiver is well tted, and the suspension is undamaged.

Make sure all wires are routed smoothly before the frame is inserted into the housing.
See pictures for reference.
Apply rubber glue between the hy­brid and the screen. See red dots on pictures for reference.

Cover the pins of the contact module at the sol­der points and at the in-mould. Press it under the contact pins to ensure good protection.
Molykote
Add molykote in the area indicated by the red dotted lines.
Coating instructions
Fill the holes at the battery solder points with Molykote FC1292 p/n 1908-209. Wipe the surplus Molykote off to prevent soiling of the housing at nal assembly.

Place measurement tool as shown in the picture. Choose the one of the sight lines that will t the upper side of the ear channel. Note the marking of the sight line. In this example, 1 is the right choice.
For binaural ttings, repeat the measurement on the left ear (there can be a difference in ear sizes, hence the tube lengths).
To put the dome onto the sound tube, push the dome as far onto the sound tube as possible. It should touch the plastic ring.

Colour marker replacement

How to place the colour marker:
Place the colour marker as long into the hole as pos­sible and then press on the back of the marker with a
nger and at the same time turn the pin around until it
breaks of.
How to remove the colour marker:
Push out the pin a 1/3 of its length using pin tool p/n 12937-001 and turn the device as if it was placed on the ear and the colour marker should fall out. If the colour marker is not falling out, the battery door can be opened and from the inside the colour marker can be pushed out by using a “colour marker remover” p/n 15426100.

Test instructions
Insert battery pill and ex strip into the device and place the xture in the test
chamber as shown on the picture.
The upper part of the test xture can
be by adjusted by loosening the two screws. This is must be done when using the
xture the rst time or on a frequently
basis to ensure optimal testing!
Position the upper part so that the test tube is right above the white dot in the center of the green circle.
