Key Instructions
1. Attach the mounting plate Locate on ceiling, as close to center as possible, away from corners. Some local codes may allow wall mounting. Mounting plate removes counter-clockwise
2. Insert battery with MINUS towards the RED lever. Close battery door.
3. Enroll sensor in panel:

Select RF sensor type [09] 24-Hour Fire, or [16] 24-Hour Fire w/

Select RF sensor serial number Press Shift, Press Learn
Press and hold the TEST Button for 5 seconds
Select RF sensor Age [1] New

4. Testing:
a) Place panel in Sensor Test mode b) Press & hold TEST button until you hear the sounder beep. c) Panel will go into alarm.
NOTE: Using Smoke-in-a-Can will cause an actual Fire Alarm.

PHOTOELECTRIC SMOKE & HEAT USER'S MANUAL, which is included in device box, is an integral pa rt of the operating information of the RE212T device. However, this is NOT a heat device.
Loop 2 Maintenance is only supported on c ommercial control panels. See Honeywell Installation Manual.
Approved as a self-contained fire alarm device per UL217. This represents the ability of each individual sensor to sound locally upon sensed fire conditions.
