INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Installation:
1. Make a trench that the loop and lead-in cable will be placed in.
2. Place the PLH-R Preformed Loop in the trench in the proper position and
orientation.
3. Use the metal corner brackets to hold the loop cable in place.
4. Route the lead-in cable to the desired termination point.
5. Fill the trench and cover the loop and lead-in cable with the roadway material
removed in Step 1. Be sure to bury the loop and lead-in cable deep enough to ensure
that the loop and lead-in cable are protected from vehicle traffic.
NOTE: Loop detection height is typicall y 2/3 the length of the shortest leg of the loop.
Keep this fact in mind when deter mi ning how deep to make the trench (Ste p 1).
