The IEC 61508 certification kit for RX compilers V3.01.00 which supports IEC 61508 certification for
customers will be released. RX Compiler CC-RX V3.01.00 supports the instruction set architecture of the
RXv1, RXv2, and RXv3 cores of the RX family.
1. Features
Our IEC 61508 certification kit for RX compilers V3.01.00 provides all the documents required for acquiring
certification on software tools in development of functionally safe industrial systems, such as the IEC
61508 certificate. This certification kit can significantly reduce the workload for software tool validity
checking required for acquiring IEC 61508 certification.
Additionally, Renesas Electronics Corporation provides solutions for assuring the functional safety of
industrial equipment.
Using a combination of this certification kit and these solutions enables you to reduce workload in
developing functionally safe industrial systems using the RX family.

- Failure information for C/C++ compiler for RX family V3.01.00

Note: The IEC 61508 certification kit for RX compilers V3.01.00 does not include the C/C++ compiler
package for RX family. The C/C++ compiler package for RX family must be purchased separately.
