RF Exposure Considerations
This Module has been tested to comply with all applicable RF Exposure requirements as a Mobile devi ce (>20cm) with respect to the head and torso and a Portable Device (<20cm) with respect to limbs and extremities. Any modification of these use requirements by the host that enables more RF Exposure will require a new FCC application and change in FCC ID. Additional radios present with the Module in the host product may subject the host product to additional RF Exposure requirements.
Antennas
The Module contains a 2.4GHz Zigbee Transceiver that utilizes an Antenova A5645 SMD PIFA Antenna. It is a 20.5mm x 3.6mm x 3.3mm surface mount antenna with a peak gain of +1.8dBi designed for 2.4GHz applications. This antenna is not externally accessible when the module is installed in an end product. There are no other 2.4GHz antenna configurations that are authorized under this Module’s approval.
The Module contains a 433MHz Transmitter that utilizes a Linx ANT-433-uSP SMD Embedded 1/4 Wave Chip Antenna. It is a 12.7mm x 9.24mm x 1.57mm surface mount antenna with a peak gain of +3.8dBi designed for 433MHz applications. This antenna is not externally accessible when the module is installed in an end product. There are no other 433MHz antenna configurations that are authorized under this Module’s approval.
