The Lav Snake is the newest way to wire talent, even in tight fitting clothing.
The Lav Snake’s ultra-low profile design makes it the perfect tool to move
through the most constricted spaces quickly and easily. It is made of a thin yet
nearly unbreakable wire that can be coiled tightly for compact storage.

Instructions for Use

1. Unpack the Lav Snake.

CAUTION: Wire under tension.

Firmly grasp each end of the Lav Snake and

unwrap the wire carefully, away from your face.

2. Feed the red tip of the Lav Snake underneath the clothing, routing it
down then out.

3. Connect the microphone to the base of the Lav Snake. The Lav Snake
will accept any mic with a TA female connecter (e.g. Lectrosonics,
Shure wireless, etc). An adapter is available for locking 3.5mm
connectors (e.g. Sennheiser Evolution and Sony wireless).

4. Once the tip is visible, pull the Lav Snake and mic wire through the
clothing then disconnect the microphone.

5. To store the Lav Snake, carefully loop it into a 4 inch diameter coil. Fold
over one of the ends twice so the coil does not spring open. Place it in
the included zippered pouch.
