INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

STEP 1 - Wash and Condition hair as normal

The condition of your scalp and hair is the secret to great looking hair.
Choose the right balance of of shampoo and conditioner to ensure hair kept in tip-top
condition.

STEP 2 – Get ready for Styling

Squeeze out excess moisture with a towel and comb through.
For straight or hard to style hair – use a blow dry spray at the roots to create volume or
throughout the lengths to create body, bounce and shine.
When ready to use plug in.
For fast drying and to remove excess moisture from hair use dryer on medium heat/high
speed.
To create smooth styles use the concentrator and a round hair brush (not included) whilst
drying.
To fix style hold down the cool shot button whilst styling.
When finished unplug the unit.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning instructions

The air filter should be cleaned regularly. A dirty or blocked filter will impair the efficiency of
the dryer.

To clean air filter, make sure dryer is turned off and unplugged.
Gently pull the air inlet grille while lifting the filter away from the dryer.
Use a soft bristle brush to gently remove any particles that are lodged in filter.
If the unit is dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth.
To replace the air inlet after cleaning, snap back into place to secure.

Maintenance instructions:

The dryer needs minimum maintenance to ensure the best performance and long life.

Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
Do not attempt to tamper with any of the user-operated controls.
Keep all intake openings clear of dust accumulation. See “cleaning instructions” above. No

other maintenance is required.

If the cord becomes twisted due to use, periodically straighten it. Store dryer and cord where

they will not be damaged. Do not wrap cord around dryer.

Storage instructions:

When not in use, unplug the dryer. Allow to cool and store out of reach of children in a safe,
dry location. Never wrap the cord around the appliance as this will cause the cord to wear
prematurely and break. Handle the cord carefully and avoid jerking, twisting or straining it,
especially at plug connections.

Keep this product out of reach of children. The use of this appliance by persons with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge can

give cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety should give explicit instructions

or supervise the use of the appliance.
Do not use any attachments with this hairdryer, other than those supplied by Remington®.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS UK Plugs Only

This product is fitted with a BS1363 plug fused at 13A. If the plug is unsuitable, it should be
disconnected and an appropriate plug fitted as detailed below. If it is necessary to replace
the plug fuse, use only fuses that are approved to BS1362, rated at 13A. If in doubt consult a
qualified electrician.
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with following code:

BLUE – NEUTRAL

BROWN - LIVE

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond
with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked ‘N’ or
coloured BLACK. The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal
which is marked ‘L’ or coloured RED. Never connect either of the wires to the big EARTH
terminal marked ‘E’ or coloured GREEN or GREEN AND YELLOW.

PROTECT THE ENVIR ONMENT

Do not dispose the product in household waste at the end of its useful life. Disposal can

STYLINGANLEITUNG

SCHRITT 1 – Waschen und pflegen

Die Gesundheit Ihrer Kopfhaut und Ihres Haares ist das Geheimnis für schönes Haar.
Verwenden Sie ein geeignetes Shampoo und Pflegemittel, um zu gewährleisten, dass Ihr
Haar in einem Topzustand bleibt.

SCHRITT 2 – Bereiten Sie das Styling vor

Drücken Sie übermäßige Feuchtigkeit mit einem Handtuch aus und kämmen Sie das Haar
durch.
Bei glattem oder schwierig zu stylendem Haar – geben Sie für mehr Volumen etwas
Schaumfestiger auf den Haaransatz oder verteilen Sie den Festiger in den Längen, um Ihrem
Haar Elastizität, Schwung und Glanz zu verleihen.
Sobald das Haar entsprechend vorbereitet ist, das Gerät an die Steckdose anschließen.
Verwenden Sie den Haartrockner bei mittlerer Hitze- und hoher Gebläsestufe, um das
Haar schnell zu trocknen und um übermäßige Feuchtigkeit zu entfernen.
Verwenden Sie die Stylingdüse und eine Rundbürste (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten)
während des Trocknens, um geschmeidige Looks zu erzeugen.
Um den Look zu fixieren, halten Sie während des Stylens die Abkühl-Taste gedrückt.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

Reinigung:

Der Luftfilter sollte in regelmäßigen Abständen gereinigt werden. Ein verschmutzter oder
verstopfter Filter verringert die Leistung des Haartrockners.

Um den Filter zu reinigen, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der

Steckdose.

Ziehen Sie das Lufteinlassgitter vorsichtig vom Haartrockner und nehmen Sie den Filter von

der Lufteinlassöffnung.
Entfernen Sie mit einer weichen Bürste sämtliche Staubpartikel aus dem Filter.
Ist der Filter stärker verschmutzt, wischen Sie ihn mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.
Befestigen Sie das Gitter danach wieder auf der Lufteinlassöffnung und lassen Sie es einrasten.

Pflege:

Der Haartrockner wurde so konzipiert, dass er Ihnen bei minimalem Pflegeaufwand eine optimale
Leistung und möglichst lange Lebensdauer bietet.

Versuchen Sie nicht das Gerät eigenständig zu reparieren.
Versuchen Sie nicht Änderungen an den Bedienelementen vorzunehmen.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass keine Geräteöffnung durch Staub verstopft ist. Lesen Sie hierfür die

oben aufgeführten Hinweise zur „Reinigung“. Ansonsten ist keine weitere Gerätepflege

erforderlich.
Wenn das Stromkabel nach einiger Zeit verdreht ist, drehen Sie es wieder gerade. Bewahren

Sie das Gerät und das Kabel an einem sicheren Ort auf. Wickeln Sie das Stromkabel nicht um

den Haartrockner.

Aufbewahrung:

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Gerätes aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie es nicht benutzen. Lassen
Sie das Gerät an einem sicheren, trockenen Ort abkühlen, der für Kinder nicht erreichbar ist.
Wickeln Sie das Kabel niemals um das Gerät. Es schadet dem Kabel, und kann dadurch vorzeitig
kaputtgehen.

GEBRUIKSINSTRUCTIES

STAP 1 - Wassen en verzorgen

Het geheim van mooi haar vindt zijn oorsprong in de verzorging van uw hoofdhuid en haar.
Kies de juiste combinatie van shampoo en conditioner om uw haar in topconditie te houden.

STAP 2 - Het haar stylen

Maak het haar handdoekdroog en kam het door.
Voor steil haar of haar dat moeilijk in model te brengen is: gebruik een speciale föhnspray op
de wortels voor volume, of over de gehele haarlengte voor volume, veerkracht en glans.
Wanneer u wilt beginnen met het drogen van het haar, steekt u de stekker in het stopcontact.
Zet de haardroger op de middelste warmtestand en hoogste snelheid om het haar snel te
drogen en overtollig vocht te verwijderen.
Voor een glad droogresultaat gebruikt u tijdens het drogen de blaasmond in combinatie met
een ronde borstel (niet inbegrepen).
Om de haarstijl te fixeren tijdens het drogen, drukt u de knop voor koude lucht in.
Wanneer u klaar bent, haalt u de stekker uit het stopcontact.

SCHOONMAKEN EN ONDERHOUD

Reinigingsinstructies

Het luchtfilter moet regelmatig worden schoongemaakt. Een vuil of verstopt filter zal de
prestaties van de haardroger beïnvloeden.

Zorg ervoor dat de haardroger uitgeschakeld en uit het stopcontact is gehaald, voordat

u het luchtfilter schoonmaakt.

Trek het roostertje voor de luchtinlaat voorzichtig weg, terwijl u het filter van de

haardroger haalt.
Gebruik een zachte borstel om alle in het filter achtergebleven deeltjes te verwijderen.
Veeg het apparaat met een vochtige doek schoon als het vuil is.
Klik het luchtfilter na het reinigen weer op zijn plaats.

Onderhoudsinstructies

De haardroger heeft minimaal onderhoud nodig om de beste prestaties en een lange
levensduur te garanderen.

Probeer de haardroger niet zelf te repareren.
Probeer de bedieningsknoppen niet te manipuleren/veranderen.
Houd alle openingen vrij van opgehoopt stof. Raadpleeg de bovenstaande

reinigingsinstructies. Ander onderhoud is niet vereist.
Als het snoer tijdens het gebruik krult, dient u het regelmatig recht te trekken. Berg de

haardroger en het snoer zo op, dat ze niet kunnen beschadigen. Wikkel het snoer niet

om de haardroger.

Opberginstructies

Haal de haardroger uit het stopcontact als deze niet wordt gebruikt. Laat hem afkoelen en
bewaar hem op een veilige droge plek, buiten het bereik van kinderen.
Wikkel het snoer nooit om de haardroger. Hierdoor kan het snoer voortijdig slijten en
breken.
Behandel het snoer voorzichtig, zonder trekken, draaien en aanspannen, met name wanneer
de stekker in een stopcontact zit.

HAAL DE HAARDROGER UIT HET STOPCONTACT WANNEER DEZE NIET IN
GEBRUIK IS.

Laat de haardroger niet onbeheerd achter wanneer deze op het stopcontact is aangesloten

en aan staat.
Laat de haardroger afkoelen voordat deze wordt opgeborgen.
Niet in water of in andere vloeistoffen onderdompelen.
Wikkel het snoer niet om het apparaat. Controleer het snoer regelmatig op eventuele

beschadigingen. Een kapot snoer kan gevaarlijk zijn.
Let er tijdens het gebruik op dat de inlaat- en uitlaatroosters op geen enkele wijze zijn

geblokkeerd. Hierdoor zal de haardroger automatisch uitschakelen. Indien dit gebeurt, laat

dan de haardroger afkoelen.
Zorg ervoor dat het rooster vrij is van pluisjes, losse haren, etc.
Plaats de haardroger niet op zacht materiaal, zoals tapijt, beddengoed, handdoeken,

vloerkleden, etc.
Laat de haardroger niet aanstaan, wanneer u deze neerlegt.
Controleer voordat u het apparaat aansluit of het voltage dat op het apparaat is aangegeven

overeenkomt met de lokale netspanning.
Richt de luchtstroom niet op de ogen of andere gevoelige plaatsen.

INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION

ETAPE 1 - Lavage et condition

L‘état du cuir chevelu et des cheveux est le secret d‘une coiffure magnifique.

Choisissez le bon équilibre entre shampoing et après-shampoing pour que les cheveux

soient en bonne santé.

ETAPE 2 - Préparez-vous au coiffage

Essorez l‘excédent d‘humidité avec une serviette et passez le peigne dans les cheveux.

Pour les cheveux raides ou difficiles à coiffer, vaporisez un spray à la racine pour donner

du volume, ou sur les longueurs pour donner du corps, du ressort et de la brillance.

Branchez l‘appareil lorsqu‘il est prêt à être utilisé.

Pour un séchage rapide et pour retirer l‘excès d‘humidité des cheveux, utilisez un sèche-

cheveux réglé sur chaleur moyenne/vitesse élevée.

Pour créer des styles doux, utilisez le concentrateur et une brosse à cheveux ronde

(non incluse) tout en séchant.

Pour fixer la coiffure, maintenez le bouton air frais tout en coiffant.

Débranchez l‘appareil une fois la coiffure terminée.

NETTOYAGE, ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE

Conseils de nettoyage

Le filtre à air doit être nettoyé régulièrement. Un filtre sale ou obstrué nuit à l’efficacité du
sèche-cheveux.

Pour nettoyer le filtre à air, vérifiez que le sèche-cheveux soit éteint et débranché.
Tirez doucement sur la grille d’entrée d’air tout en soulevant le filtre.
Utilisez une brosse douce pour enlever les particules présentes dans le filtre.
Si la pièce est sale, nettoyez-la à l’aide d’un chiffon humide.
Repositionnez le filtre à air après nettoyage

Conseils d’entretien:

Un entretien minimum est nécessaire pour garantir la performance et la durabilité de votre
sèche-cheveux.

N’essayez pas de réparer l’appareil vous-même.
N’essayez pas de modifier les contrôles actionnés par l’utilisateur.
Conservez tout ce qui comporte des ouvertures à l’abri de la poussière. Voir les

« instructions de nettoyage » ci-dessous. Aucune maintenance supplémentaire n’est

requise.
Si le cordon s’enroule au fur et à mesure de l’utilisation, déroulez-le de temps en temps.

Rangez le sèche-cheveux et le cordon à un endroit où ils ne s’abîmeront pas. N’enroulez

pas le cordon autour du sèche-cheveux.

Conseils pour le rangement :

Débranchez l’appareil lorsque vous ne l’utilisez pas. Laissez-le refroidir et rangez-le hors de
portée des enfants, dans un endroit sûr et sec.
N’enroulez jamais le cordon autour de l’appareil car il s’usera prématurément et cassera.
Manipulez le cordon avec précaution et évitez de tirer dessus, de le tourner ou de forcer,
notamment lors des branchements.

INSTRUCCIONES DE UTILIZACIÓN

PASO 1 - Lavado y acondicionado

El acondicionamiento del cuero cabelludo y el pelo es el secreto para tener una melena

estupenda.
Elija el equilibrio correcto de champú y acondicionador para asegurarse de que el pelo esté

en excelentes condiciones.

PASO 2 - Prepárese para el peinado

Seque el exceso de humedad con una toalla y peine el pelo.
Para un pelo liso o difícil de moldear, utilice un pulverizador en seco para las raíces con el

fin de dar volumen, o a lo largo del cabello para dar cuerpo, movimiento y brillo.

Cuando esté listo para usar, enchúfelo.
Para secar rápido y eliminar el exceso de humedad del pelo, utilice un secador a

temperatura media / velocidad alta.
Para crear estilos lisos, utilice el concentrador y un cepillo redondo (no incluido) durante

el secado.

Para fijar el peinado, mantenga pulsado el botón de frío mientras peina.
Cuando termine, desenchufe la unidad.

LIMPIEZA, CUIDADOS Y MANTENIMIENTO

Instrucciones de limpieza

Debe limpiarse regularmente el filtro del aire. Un filtro sucio o bloqueado reducirá la
efectividad del secador.

Para limpiar el filtro del aire, asegúrese de que el secador está apagado y desenchufado de

la red eléctrica.
Empuje suavemente la rejilla de entrada del aire mientras levanta el filtro separándolo del

secador.
Mediante un cepillo de cerdas suaves, retire con delicadeza todas las partículas que se

hayan depositado en el filtro.

Si la unidad está sucia, límpiela con un paño húmedo.
Para volver a colocar la entrada de aire tras la limpieza, vuelva a introducirla en su lugar

hasta que encaje.

Instrucciones de mantenimiento:

El secador precisa un mantenimiento mínimo para asegurar un rendimiento inmejorable y
larga vida.

No intente reparar el aparato por su propia cuenta.
No intente manipular el mecanismo de ninguno de los controles para el usuario.
Mantenga libres de acumulación de polvo todas las aberturas de entrada. Consulte más

arriba las “instrucciones de limpieza”. No se requiere ningún otro mantenimiento.
Si el cable se fuera retorciendo con el uso, alíselo periódicamente. Guarde secador y cable

en un lugar donde no puedan sufrir daños. No enrolle el cable alrededor del secador.

Instrucciones de almacenamiento:

Desenchufe de la red el secador cuando no se esté usando. Déjelo que se enfríe, y guárdelo
fuera del alcance de los niños en lugar seguro y seco.
Nunca enrolle el cable alrededor del aparato, ya que de ese modo se desgastaría
prematuramente y se rompería.
Trate el cable con cuidado, evitando darle tirones, retorcerlo o estirarlo, especialmente en
los enchufes de la red.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO

PASSO 1 – Lavaggio e applicazione del balsamo

Per ottenere una splendida capigliatura, è consigliabile applicare un balsamo sul cuoio

capelluto e sui capelli.

Per mantenere i capelli in condizioni eccellenti, è necessario scegliere la giusta

combinazione di shampoo e balsamo.

PASSO 2 – Preparazione dei capelli per la piega

Tamponare i capelli con un asciugamano per eliminare l’umidità in eccesso e districarli

con un pettine.

Per i capelli lisci o difficili da mettere in piega applicare uno spray secco volumizzante

alla radice per rendere i capelli più vaporosi o su tutta la lunghezza per aumentarne la

corposità, l’elasticità e la brillantezza.
Una volta preparati i capelli nel modo indicato, collegare l’apparecchio.
Per eseguire un’asciugatura veloce e rimuovere l’umidità in eccesso, impostare

l’asciugacapelli su temperatura media e velocità alta.
Per creare un effetto liscio, asciugare i capelli adoperando il concentratore e una

spazzola rotonda (non inclusa).
Per fissare la piega, premere il pulsante del colpo di freddo durante l’acconciatura.
Al termine della messa in piega, scollegare l’unità.

Piegaciglia a caldo

Spingere l‘interruttore on/off sulla posizione on. Lasciar riscaldare il piegaciglia per almeno 1
minuto prima dell‘uso. Mettere il pettine direttamente sotto la linea delle ciglia sollevandole
delicatamente, come quando si usa un normale applicatore di mascara. Tenerlo il posizione
per 5 - 8 secondi prima di toglierlo. Ripetere su tutta la linea delle ciglia per creare l‘effetto
desiderato.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

Istruzioni per la pulizia dell’apparecchio

Il filtro dell’aria deve essere pulito regolarmente. Un filtro sporco o ostruito potrebbe
compromette le prestazioni dell’asciugacapelli.

Per pulire il filtro, accertarsi innanzitutto che l’asciugacapelli sia spento e scollegato dalla

presa di alimentazione.
Senza forzare, estrarre la griglia di entrata dell’aria sollevando il filtro dall’asciugacapelli.
Utilizzare uno spazzolino a setole morbide per rimuovere delicatamente i residui e la

polvere accumulata nel filtro.
Se l’unità è sporca, pulirla con un panno umido.
Per riposizionare la presa di entrata dell’aria, farla scattare in posizione in modo da

bloccarla.

Istruzioni per la manutenzione:

Per mantenere integre le elevate prestazioni dell’apparecchio e prolungarne il ciclo di vita,
è necessaria una minima manutenzione.

Non tentare di riparare l’apparecchio personalmente.
Non tentare di manomettere alcuno dei controlli attivabili dall’utente.
Mantenere tutte le aperture di ingresso libere da accumuli di polvere. Al riguardo, attenersi

alle istruzioni per la pulizia riportate precedentemente. Non sono necessarie altre attività

di manutenzione.
Se con l’uso il cavo si attorciglia, raddrizzarlo periodicamente. Conservare asciugacapelli

e cavo in un posto in cui non possano subire danni. Non avvolgere il cavo attorno

all’asciugacapelli.

Istruzioni per la conservazione:

Scollegare l’asciugacapelli quando non è in uso. Attendere che l’apparecchio si sia raffreddato
e riporlo in un posto asciutto e sicuro, lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
Non avvolgere il cavo attorno all’apparecchio per evitarne l’usura precoce e la conseguente
rottura.
Maneggiare il cavo con accuratezza evitando di strattonarlo, attorcigliarlo o tirarlo,
soprattutto vicino alle spine.

moquette o simili.

Verificare che la tensione da utilizzare corrisponda sempre a quella indicata

sull’apparecchio.
Non dirigere il flusso d’aria verso gli occhi o altre zone delicate.
Tenere lontano dalla portata dei bambini. Le persone che non conoscono o non hanno

esperienza delle modalità di funzionamento dell’apparecchio, così come i soggetti affetti

da infermità fisiche o mentali, devono utilizzarlo adottando precauzioni aggiuntive e,

possibilmente, dietro indicazioni o supervisione di un responsabile.
Non utilizzare con questo asciugacapelli accessori diversi da quelli forniti in dotazione da

Remington®.
Evitare che parti dell’asciugacapelli entrino in contatto con il viso, il collo o il cuoio

capelluto.
Questo apparecchio non è destinato all’uso commerciale né all’impiego nei saloni

professionali.
Se il cavo di alimentazione dell’unità dovesse danneggiarsi, per evitare ulteriori danni

interrompere immediatamente l’utilizzo e restituire l’apparecchio al rivenditore autorizzato

Vælg den rigtige mængde shampoo og balsam, så dit hår holder sig i topform.

TRIN 2 – gør håret klar til styling

Pres det sidste vand ud af håret med et håndklæde, og red håret igennem.
Til glat hår eller hår, som er besværligt at style, bruges en føntørringsspray i bunden for at få

volumen eller i hele hårets længde for at få fylde, spændstighed og glans.
Sæt stikket i, når du er klar.
Vælg middeltemperatur og høj hastighed for hurtig tørring og for at fjerne overskydende

fugt fra håret.
Brug fønnæbbet og en rund hårbørste (ikke inkluderet) under tørringen til at lave glatte

frisurer.
Hold cool shot-knappen nede under stylingen for at fiksere frisuren.
