instructions carefully and keep them safe.
Remove all packaging before use.

F IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1 This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of
children under 8 years.
2 Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do
not use attachments not recommended by Remington.
3 Never operate this appliance with a damaged power cord or plug, or if it is
not working properly.
4 Do not wrap the cord around the unit. Check the cord regularly for any sign
damage.
5 If the supply cord of this unit becomes damaged, discontinue use
immediately and return the appliance to your nearest authorised
Remington® service dealer for repair or replacement in order to avoid a
hazard.
6 Warning: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins
or other vessels containing water.
7 When the hairdr yer is used in a bathroom, unplug it af ter use since
the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched
o.
8 Warning – for additional protection the installation of a residual
current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding
30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. A sk an
electrician for advice.
9 For UK household use Only. Currently the tting in a bathroom of an
electrical socket suitable or capable of operating the dryer/straightener is
not permitted (see BS7671).
10 Do not plug or unplug the appliance with wet hands.
11 Do not use if the cord is damaged.
12 Do not allow any part of the appliance touch the face, neck or scalp.
13 Keep direc t airow away from eyes or other sensitive areas.
14 Ensure the inlet grille is free from obstructions such as u, loose hair etc.
15 Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.

F INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Wash and condition your hair as normal.

• Squeeze out excess moisture with a towel and comb through.

, Hairsprays contain ammable material – do not use while using this product.

• Plug the product into the mains power supply.

• For fast drying and to remove excess moisture from the hair use the dryer on

high heat/high speed with the 11mm concentrator.

• Select the desired temperature and speed setting using the switch on the
handle.

• To create smooth styles use the 7mm concentrator and a round hair brush
(not included) whilst drying.

• To enhance natural curls and waves, attach the diuser to the dryer. Turn
your head upside down and gently place your hair into the diuser bowl
slightly rotating the dryer as you style.

• To create extra volume at the roots of the hair, keep your head upright and
place the diuser against the top of the head. Gently rotate the hairdryer
allowing the diuser ngers to gently massage the scalp being careful not to
burn the scalp. Dry gently on a low heat / low speed setting.

• To set your style, press the cold shot button whilst styling then release it to
reactivate the heat.

• After use, turn the appliance o and unplug.

C CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance and allow to cool.

• To maintain peak product performance and to prolong motor life, it is

important to regularly remove any dust and dirt from the air lter grille and
clean with a soft brush.

, To remove the rear grille for cleaning

• Hold the dryer handle in one hand, then with the other place your thumb
and index nger on the indents either side of the rear grille. Pull the rear
grille away from the dryer.

, To replace the rear grill

• Hold in place with thumb and index nger again and click back onto the
dryer.

To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous
substances in electrical and electronic goods, appliances marked with
this symbol must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste,
but recovered, reused or recycled.

E SERVICE AND GUARANTEE

Defects aecting product functionality appearing within the guarantee period
will be corrected by replacement or repair at our option provided the product is
used and maintained in accordance with the instructions.
