Supplemental Installation Instructions
TT & TW Series Panels with Wattmeters
(Main Breaker with Horizontal Travel)
This panel is equipped with two wattmeters that will indicate incoming
power from the power source feeding the generator breaker located in
panel positions 1 and 3.
Wiring Instructions:
1. Remove the panel cover and locate the two current transformers that
are attached to the wattmeters.
2. Locate the one of the two incoming hot legs from the generator. In order
to have each meter correspond to the bus that is being fed, insert this
wire through the center of the left current transformer before securing it
to the upper terminal (located in panel opening #1) of the generator
circuit breaker. This breaker will then be the generator feed to the left
circuit breaker bus.
3. Locate the other incoming hot leg from the generator. In a manner
similar to Step 2, insert this wire through the center of the right current
transformer before securing it to the lower terminal (located in panel
opening #3) of the generator circuit breaker. This breaker will then be
the generator feed to the right circuit breaker bus.
Refer to the wiring diagram located on the inside front cover of the panel for
information on which circuits are fed by the left and right circuit breaker
bus. Note the following:
