For the purposes of this user guide, Satellite
is mounted vertically on the grip, facing
the operator. Satellite can also be mounted
horizontally on cross-bar, see page 10.

RONIN

To setup Satellite control for MoVI you will need to use
the Freefly Configurator mobile App or desktop application.

No special setup required for Satellite control.
Connect Satellite in one of two ways:

To setup Satellite control for Ronin you will need to use
the DJI Assistant mobile App or desktop application.

1. Set Up Radio Type:

1. Connect Satellite direct to Comm 1 on the Movi Pro

2. Connect Satellite to Comm 2 on the Freefly Mimic

1. Map Channels > Channel Screen

Mobile App Setup > Dual Op Screen
Desktop App > Remote Controller Screen

1. Set Radio Type to SBUS

1. Set CH 0 to Pan

2. Set CH 1 to Tilt

3. Set CH 3 to Roll

Mobile App Setup > Dual Op Screen
Desktop App > Remote Controller Screen

1. Set Map Remote Mode to 7

2. Set Map Remote Pan to 1

3. Set Map Pan Rate to 0

4. Set Map Remote Tilt to 2

5. Set Map Remote Tilt Rate to 0

6. Set Map Remote Roll Trim to 4 or 6. 4 for
R

oll and return to level, 6 for Roll and Hold.
