Instructions for use

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be

following including the following:

1. Read all instructions.

2. To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER OR OTHER
LIQUID.

3. Unplug from outlet when not in use - also before putting on or taking off accessories
and before cleaning.

4. Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hand, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and
other utensils, away from accessories and attachments during operation to prevent
personal injury and/or damage.

5. Do not operate with a damaged cord set or after the slicer has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Contact the nearest Service Agency for examination,
repair or adjustment.

6. Do not let cord set hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

7. Remove all attachments and accessories before washing.

8. Never leave unattended during operation.

9. The use of attachments and accessories not recommended by the manufacturer
may cause hazards.

10. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

Attention:

Indication on type plate (13)
must be identical with your
mains current !

Assembly

Push feed screw (4) into
housing (5). Push cutting
device, first knife (3),
cutting side away from feed
screw, then disc (2) onto
the shaft, groove onto hol-
ding pin at housing. Screw
on locking ring (1) and
tighten well.

Insert mounted grinder A
onto receiver of motor unit
B. Locate it properly by a
light reciprocating turning
until pin engages onto
groove at motor unit B. On -
ly then tighten well fixing
screw (11), Black star knob.

Now set on feeding hopper
(7) and keep ready the
pusher (stomper) (6).

Cleaning before
using

Wash all parts of grinder the
normal way with a little
washing up liquid. Then dry
immediately. Blow away
water from holes of disc.
Coats sparingly with vege­table oil.

For dismantling:

Unscrew locking ring (1),
then pull out cutting device
(2 + 3) as well as feed
screw (4).

Putting into operation

Start motor by turning
switch (10) to the right
(position 1). Pilot lamp (9)
will flash up.

By turning switch (10) to the
left (position R) motor runs
in reverse. Only a short time
service is allowed!

If something unsuitable got
into the filler tube or if the
motor is overloaded, safety
switch (14) will trip and stop
machine.

In such a case switch off
motor, press in overload
safety switch (14) after
about 10 seconds, then turn
switch (10) briefly to the left
(in positon R). Motor runs in
reverse and clears the
blockage.

Then disassemble grinder
unit A, remove all residue
from the parts. After
reassembling and inserting
the grinder you may
continue to work.

open safety locking screw
(11), black star knob, and pull
forward grinder A

Attention:

Always unplug before cleaning
and for security's sake also
after having finished to work!
