POCKET CURTAIN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Getting started:
Please read through all instructions carefully before you begin installation. Carefully remove your new curtains from their packaging. Before hanging your
curtains, Half Price Drapes recommends that you have them professionally pressed to remove fold lines and wrinkles. If you need to remove the wrinkles yourself
it is recommended that you use a garment steamer after the draperies are hung. If you do not have access to a garment steamer the panels can be steamed from
the back of the drape using a steam iron.
NEVER make contact directly with the face of the curtain, especially silk, faux silk, or Velvet panels. Making contact with these fabrics can permanently damage
the fabric and leave a mark that cannot be removed.
Installing Your Pole Pocket Curtains:
1. insert your curtain pole through the pocket at the top
of the drapery.
2.
Once you have inserted the pole through the pocket,
let your curtain hang.
Installing Your Back Tab Curtains:
1. Pass the rod between the pole pocket and the tabs on
the back of the curtain.

let your curtain hang.
Dressing Your Curtains:
To help the curtain hang properly, and create a ripple, slide the fabric on the rod and adjust the fabric to desired position.
If you steam the folds in place it will help “train” the curtains so that the folds/ripples stay in place after they are opened and closed.
Care & Cleaning:
If the curtain is dusty, simply vacuum over it using an upholstery attachment. For stubborn stains or overall deep cleaning,
professional on-site service is recommended.
