1. The Redarc Gauge Temperature Sensor range is designed to provide an accurate indication of temperature. As accurate as the indication might be, these gauges and sensors are not designed to be a substitute for regular maintenance and inspection by a qualifi ed technician.
2. REDARC recommend that the Redarc Gauge Temperature Sensor range be installed by a qualifi ed technician.

PRODUCT FUNCTION
We have a number of Temperature sensors which are designed to measure different temperature ranges in Air or Liquids.
The GS-UT-80 and GS-UT-120 Temperature Sensors are designed for measuring temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, vehicle cabin or outside temperature. Not designed for radiator or engine temperature measurements and are not designed to be immersed in liquid for any period of time.
The GS-OWT1-4 and GS-OWT1-8 are designed for measuring temperatures of liquids. They have a brass housing with a 1/4 NPT or 1/8 NPT thread (respectively) and can be used to measure water, Engine Oil or Transmission Oil temperature.
The Redarc Gauge Temperature Sensor are designed to be used with a Redarc Gauge that features the optional Temp. Sensor display (ie. G52-BET, G52-POT, G52-PWT, G52­PT & G52-TTT).
