country and another. With certain models, the appropriate correction can be set permanently, with simpler
models, this has to be calculated or taken into account
on the fi xed declination scale.
Declination correction [2] DT-420, DT-420G
The adjusting screw is placed on the reverse side of
the capsule. By turning this screw, the north markings
(magnetic north) can be adjusted to compensate for
declination changes against the dial scale and true north
with the aid of a special index.
Example: Declination 20° W:
Increase in azimuth of 20°.
Declination 20° E:
Decrease in azimuth of 20°.
Fixed declination scale [3] DT-100, 120, 200, 220
When working in terrain, if the declination is different from
zero, instead of being aligned between the N marks, the
needle must point to the current declination on the fi xed
declination scale.
The vertical intensity of the magnetic field, known as in-
clination, is not the same every where and this influences
the horizontal posi tion of the needle. [4a]
However, RECTA compasses with the Global System
function at all latitudes wit h out it being ne cessary to
exchange the capsules. [4b]
Direction of travel (azimuth/bearing) [5]
The bearing is the angle between true north and the line
of travel. It can be read off on the index.
Working in terrain
A Orienting the map [6]
a) Adjust bearing to N = 0°.
b) Lay the compass pointing north along the N-S grid
lines on the map.
c) Turn the map and compass until the N point of the
needle comes to rest between the N marks.
Important: On maps with no N-S grid lines, these should
be drawn in every 1 1/2“ (3-4 cm).
B Determining the direction of travel
on the map [7]
a) Place the compass with one of the long edges on the
line connecting position A with the target position B.
The front end of the compass should be pointing
towards position A.
b) Turn the compass capsule until the N-S line on the
dial is parallel to the N-S grid lines of the map.
c) If you then hold the compass and turn around until
the red tip of the needle is located between the
N marks of the capsule, the direction pointer will
indicate the desired direction of travel. Choose
prominent landmarks along the line of travel.

Attention:
Metal objects or powerlines in your vicinity can deviate the
compass needle. Strong mag ne tic fi elds can in some
circumstances even reverse the polarity. Therefore it is
advise able to check your compass periodically. Small
bubbles in the liquid are of no importance. They may
appear and disappear with changes of tem perature
and air pressure.

Zwei Begriffe sind für das Verständnis der KompassTechnologie unentbehrlich: Deklination und Inklination.
Die magnetische Nordrichtung stimmt oft nicht mit der
geographischen Nordrichtung überein. Der Winkel zwischen diesen beiden Nordrichtungen wird Deklination
[1] genannt. Sie ist örtlich und zeitlich, von einem Land
zum andern verschieden. Bei bestimmten Modellen kann
die entsprechende Korrektur fest eingestellt werden; bei
einfacheren Modellen muss sie berechnet oder anhand der
fi xen Deklinationsskala berücksichtigt werden.
Einstellen der Deklination [2] DT-420, DT-420G
Die Korrekturschraube befi ndet sich auf der Rückseite
der Kapsel. Durch Drehen dieser Stellschraube werden
die Nordmarken mit besonderem Index (magnetisch Nord)
gegenüber der Skala und dem Nordnetz (geo grafi sch
Nord) um den Wert der Deklination verstellt.
Beispiel: 20° W Deklination:
Vergrösserung des Azimutes um 20°.
20° E Deklination:
Verkleinerung des Azimutes um 20°.
Fixe Deklinationsskala [3] DT-100, 120, 200, 220
Beim Arbeiten im Gelände, wenn der Deklinationswert
anders als Null ist, muss sich die Nadel nicht zwischen
den Nordmarken der Kapsel befi nden sondern auf dem
entsprechenden Wert der fixen Deklinationsskala.
Auch die vertikale Intensität des Magnet feldes,
Inklination genannt, ist nicht überall gleich, was die
Horizontallage der Nadel beeinfl usst. [4a] Im Gegensatz
zu herkömmlichen Kompassen funktionieren die RECTA
Kompasse mit dem Global System über alle Breitengrade
hinweg ohne Tausch der Kapsel. [4b]
Richtungswinkel (Azimut,
Marschrichtungszahl) [5]
Der Richtungswinkel ist der Winkel zwischen geografi sch
Norden und der Marschrichtung. Er ist am Index ablesbar.
Arbeiten im Gelände
A Orientieren der Karte [6]
a) Richtungswinkel N = 0° einstellen.
b) Den Kompass in Nordrichtung längs des
N-S-Rasternetzes auf die Karte legen.
c) Karte mit Kompass drehen, bis N-Spitze der Nadel
zwischen den Nordmarken liegt.
Wichtig: Auf Karten ohne N-S-Rasternetz sind N-S-Linien
im Abstand von 3 bis 4 cm einzuzeichnen.
B Bestimmen der Marschrichtung auf der Karte [7]
a) Den Kompass mit einer Längsseite auf die Verbin dungslinie zwischen Standort A und Bestimmungs punkt B auf die Karte legen. Vorderseite dem Standort
zugekehrt.
b) Kompasskapsel drehen, bis die N-S-Striche der
Kapsel parallel zum N-S-Rasternetz der Karte liegen.
c) Wenn Sie jetzt den Kompass zur Hand nehmen und
sich selbst drehen, bis das rote Ende der Nadel
zwischen den Nordmarken der Kapsel steht, zeigt der
Richtungspfeil in Zielrichtung. Markante Gelände punkte in der Marschrichtung wähl en.
Gebrauch des Klinometers [8] DT-420, DT-420G
– Skalenring auf E oder W stellen.
– Kompass quer zur Blickrichtung auf geneigte Linie
auflegen oder geneigte Linie über Kompasskante
anvisieren.
– Neigungswinkel: Marke auf roter Skala direkt ablesen.
Achtung:
Metallische Gegenstände oder Starkstromleitungen in
der Nähe können die Kompassnadel fehlleiten. Starke
Magnetfelder bewirken unter Umständen sogar die
Umkehrung der Polarität. Kontrollieren Sie deshalb
regelmässig die Funktion Ihres Kompasses. Kleine
Blasen in der Flüssigkeit sind ohne Bedeutung. Sie
entstehen und verschwinden durch Veränderung von
Luftdruck und Temperatur.

Deux points sont indispensables pour la com préhension
de la technologie de la boussole: Déclinaison et incli-
naison. La direc tion du nord magnétique ne correspond
souvent pas à la direction du nord géo graphique. L’angle
entre ces deux directions du nord se nomme la déclinai-
son [1]. Elle est différente localement et dans le temps d’un
pays à l’autre. Dans certains modèles, la correction correspondante peut être réglée; dans des modèles plus simples
elle doit être calculée ou prise en compte sur l’échelle de
déclinaison fixe.
Ajustement de la déclinaison [2] DT-420, DT-420G
La vis correc trice se trouve au verso de la capsule. Par rotation de cette vis, il y a déplacement – de la valeur de déclinaison – des repères nord et de l’index (nord magnétique) par
rapport à l’échelle et au réseau nord (nord géogra phique).
Exemple: 20° déclinaison ouest:
Agrandissement de 20° de l’azimut.
20° déclinaison est:
Réduction de 20° de l’azimut.
Echelle de déclinaison fi xe [3] DT-100, 120, 200, 220
Lors de l’utilisation sur le terrain, si la valeur de la déclinaison est différente de zéro, l’aiguille ne doit pas se trouver entre les deux marques Nord de la capsule mais sur
la valeur correspondante de l’échelle fi xe de déclinaison.
De même, l’intensité ver ticale du champ magnétique
dénommée inclinaison n’est pas partout pareille, ce qui
infl uence la position horizontale de l’ai gui lle. [4a] Les
bous soles RECTA avec le Global System fonctionnent
sous toutes les latitudes sans changer la capsule. [4b]
Angle de direction
(azimut, chiffre d’orientation) [5]
L’angle de direction est celui séparant le nord géographique de la direction de marche. Il est lisible sur l’échelle.
Utilisation sur le terrain
A Orientation de la carte [6]
a) Ajuster l’angle de direction N = 0°.
b) Poser la boussole sur la carte, en direction nord, le long
du réseau N-S de la carte.
c) Faire tourner carte et boussole jusqu’à ce que la
pointe N de l’aiguille se situe entre les repères nord.
Important: Sur des cartes sans réseau N-S, il faut tracer
sur la carte des lignes N-S à intervalles de 3-4 cm.
B Détermination de la direction de marche sur la
carte [7]
a) Poser la boussole avec un côté longitudinal sur la ligne
reliant la position momentanée A au lieu de destination
B. Avec face frontale tournée vers la position momen tanée.
b) Tourner la capsule de boussole jusqu’à ce que les
lignes N-S de la capsule soient parallèles aux lignes
N-S de la carte.
c) Prenez la boussole dans la main et tournez vous
jusqu’à ce que la pointe rouge de l’aiguille se trouve
entre les deux marques Nord de la capsule, la fl èche
de direction indique le but désiré. Sélectionnez des
points topographiques majeurs dans la direction de
marche.

Attention:
La proximité d’objets métalliques ferreux et de câbles
à haute tension peut fausser l’aiguille d’une boussole
et des champs magnétiques importants pourraient à
l’extrême même inverser sa polarité. Vérifiez donc
régulièrement le fonctionnement de votre boussole. De petites bulles d’air dans le liquide amortisseur
sont sans effet sur la fonction. Elles peuvent apparaître
et disparaître au gré des variations de la pression atmosphérique et de la tempé rature ambiante.

Per capire la tecnologia della bussola sono indispensabili due concetti: Declinazione e inclinazione. Il nord
magnetico spesso non coincide con il nord geografi co.
L’angolo tra queste due direzioni viene defi nito decli-
nazione [1]. Essa è locale e temporale, diversa da
un paese all’altro. In deter mi nati modelli la rispettiva
correzione può essere determinata in modo fi sso, nei
modelli semplici dev’essere calcolata oppure presa in
considerazione sulla scala di declinazione fissa.
Regolazione della declinazione [2]

La vite di corre zione si trova sul retro della capsula.
Girando questa vite si spostano – secondo il grado di
declinazione – le tacche Nord con indice speciale (Nord
magnetico) rispetto alla scala e al reticolato Nord (Nord
geografi co).
Esempio: 20° declinazione ovest:
Allargamento di 20° dell’azimut.
20° declinazione est:
Riduzione di 20° dell’azimut.
Scala di declinazione fissa [3]
DT-100, 120, 200, 220
Quando l‘utilizzo è effettuato a terra, se il valore della
declinazione è diverso da zero, l‘ago non deve trovarsi
fra i due indicatori Nord della capsula, bensì sul valore
corrispondente della scala di declinazione fi ssa.
Anche l’intensità verticale del campo magne tico, definita inclinazione, non è uguale dappertutto, fatto che
infl uisce sui campi orizzon tali dell’ago. [4a]
Le bussole RECTA con il Global System funzionano
a tutti i gradi di latitu dine senza cambio della capsula.

L’angolo di direzione è quello compreso fra il Nord
geografi co e la direzione di marcia. Esso è misurabile
sulla scala.
Impiego sul terreno

B Determinazione della direzione di marcia

a) Ponete la bussola sulla carta facendo co in cidere
un lato longitudinale con la linea che congiunge
la posizione momentanea A con la destinazione B,
in modo che la parte frontale sia volta verso la posi zione momen tanea.
b) Girate la capsula della bussola fi nchè le linee N-S
della capsula si troveranno parallele al reticolato N-S
della carta.
c) Prendete ora la bussola e giratevi fi nché l’estremità
rossa dell’ago si troverà fra le due tacche del Nord,
la freccia di direzione indicherà allora la direzione
di marcia scelta. Scegliete punti topografi ci
maggiori nella direzione di marcia.
Uso del clinometro [8] DT-420, DT-420G
– Regolate l’angolo di direzione su E o W.
– Tenete la bussola in direzione dello sguardo e
ponetela sulla linea obliqua oppure pun ta te la linea
obliqua oltre il bordo della bus sola.
– Leggete direttamente sulla scala rossa l’angolo
d’inclinazione indicato dal ratto del segmento
trasparente.
Attenzione:
Oggetti di metallo o linee dell’alta tensione nelle
vicinanze possono disturbare l’ago della bussola. Forti
campi magnetici possono perfi no provocare lo scambio della polarità. Controlli percio regolarmente
il funzionamento del la sua bussola. Nel liquido
possono for marsi bollicine che non infl uenzano il fun
zionamento della bussola. Esse appaiono e scompaiono con le variazioni della pressione atmosferica e della
temperatura.

Dos conceptos son imprescindibles para comprender
la tecnología de brújulas: declinación e inclinación. A
menudo el norte magnético no coincide con el norte
geográfi co. El ángulo entre ambos puntos se denomina declinación [1], que es variable, temporal y espacialmente, de un país a otro. En algunos modelos de
brújula, es posible ajustar de modo fijo la corrección
correspondiente; en modelos más sencillos, es necesario calcularla o tenerla en cuenta en la escala de
declinación fija.
Ajuste de la declinación [2] DT-420, DT-420G
El tornillo de corrección se encuentra en la parte posterior del limbo. Girando este tornillo, el norte magnético
(marcas Norte) puede ajustarse, para compensar los
cambios de declinación, con respecto a la escala marcada en el limbo y al norte verdadero (Norte geográfico)
mediante un índice especial.
Ejemplo: 20° de declinación Oeste:

Cuando se utiliza sobre el terreno, si la declinación es
diferente de cero, la aguja, en vez de alinearse entre las
dos marcas Norte del limbo, debe alinearse según la
declinación correspondiente de la escala de declinación fija.
La intensidad vertical del campo magnético, llamada
inclinación, tampoco es la misma en todos los puntos,
lo que influye en la posición horizontal de la aguja [4a].
Las brújulas RECTA provistas de Global System funcionan en cualquier latitud sin necesidad de cambiar el

b) Girar el limbo de la brújula hasta que las líneas N-S

c) Si se toma entonces la brújula en la mano y giramos
hasta que la flecha roja de la aguja se coloque
entre las marcas Norte, la flecha de dirección nos
indica nuestro destino. Para seguir el rumbo, busque
puntos de referencia en el terreno.
Clinómetro: medición de la inclinación [8]

– Ajustar el ángulo de dirección E o W.
– Colocar la brújula en forma transversal al sentido de
la mirada sobre la línea inclinada y hacer coincidir la
línea inclinada con el borde de la brújula.
– Leer directamente el ángulo de inclinación (marca en
la escala roja).
Atención:
Los objetos metálicos y las líneas de alta tensión situados cerca de la brújula pueden alterar la aguja de la
brújula. Los campos magnéticos fuertes pueden incluso
invertir la polaridad en determinadas circunstancias.
Por ello, se debe controlar regularmente el funcionamiento de la brújula. Las pequeñas burbujas even-
tuales que se forman y desaparecen no tienen ninguna
importancia. A veces son consecuencia de un cambio
de presión atmosférica o de temperatura.

Twee basisbegrippen: Declinatie en In cli na tie. Het
magnetische Noorden valt niet samen met het geografi
sche (of kaart) Noorden. De hoek tussen de beide Noordrichtingen wordt Declinatie [1] genoemd. Zij verschilt
per regio en verloopt ook nog in de tijd. Deze Declinatie
kan in bepaalde kompassen door de gebruiker gecorrigeerd worden. Bij meer eenvoudige modellen moet het
juiste Noorden steeds berekend worden, deze modellen
hebben een vaste Declinatie schaal.
Instellen van de declinatie [2] DT-420, DT-420G
De correctieschroef bevindt zich aan de achterkant van
de kompasdoos. Door draaien van deze stelschroef
kunnen de N-tekens (magn. noorden) met de waarde
van de declinatie t.o.v. schaalverdeling en geografische
noorden worden gecorrigeerd.
Voorbeeld: 20° W Declinatie:
Richtingshoek 20° vergroten.
20° O Declinatie:
Richtingshoek 20° verkleinen.
Vaste Declinatie Schaal [3] DT-100, 120, 200, 220
Als je in het veld bent en de declinatie is anders dan nul,
dan moet de punt van de naald niet meer tussen de
N-tekens staan, maar op de declinatie afwijking van de
vaste declinatie schaal.
Inclinatie is de vertikale hoek van het magnetisch veld
van de aarde. In bepaalde ge bieden is deze hoek zo
groot dat de kompasnaald uit balans raakt en zichzelf
vastklemt tegen het glas van de kompas doos. [4a]
Bovendien introduceert RECTA het revolutionaire
Global System. Einde lijk is nu één en hetzelfde kompas overal ter wereld te gebruiken. [4b]
Richtingshoek (Azimut) [5]
De richtingshoek is de hoek die gevormd wordt door het
geografische noorden en de loop richting. Deze kan op
de index worden afgelezen.
Werken in het veld
A Orienteren van de kaart [6]
a) Richtingshoek N = 0° instellen.
b Het kompas in noordrichting langs de N-Z raster lijnen op de kaart leggen.
c) Kaart met kompas zolang draaien tot de N-punt van
de naald tussen de N-tekens ligt.
Belangrijk: Op kaarten zonder N-Z rasterlijnen moeten
deze op afstanden van 3-4 cm. getekend worden.
B Bepalen van de looprichting op de kaart [7]
a) Het kompas in de lengterichting op de ver bindings lijn tussen standplaats A en stand plaats B op de
kaart leggen. Voorzijde van het kompashuis richting
A.
b) De kompasdoos draaien tot de N-Z lijn op de wind roos evenwijdig loopt met de N-Z-rasterlijnen van de
kaart.
c) Wanneer U nu het kompas opneemt en om eigen as
draait tot de rode punt van de naald tussen de
N-tekens op de roos ligt wijst de richtingspijl in de
gewenste richting. Opmerkelijk punten langs de
looprichting uitzoeken.
Gebruik van de hellingmeter [8] DT-420, DT-420G
– Richtingshoek E of W instellen.
– Kompas dwars op de kijkrichting op de hellinglijn
plaatsen of de hellinglijn over de zijkant van het
kompashuis viseren.
– Hellingshoek: teken op de rode schaal verdeling
aflezen.
Let op:
Niet gebruiken in de nabijheid van metalen voorwerpen
of hoogspanningskabels. Sterke magnetische velden
kunnen het omdraaien van de NZ-richting tot gevolg
hebben. Kontroleer daarom regelmatig de wer-
king van het kompas. Vacuumbellen in de vloeistof
beïn vloeden geenszins de werking van het kompas. Zij
komen en verdwijnen naar gelang wijziging in luchtdruk
en temperatuur.
RECTA LIMITED WARRANTY
Recta warrants that during the Warranty Period Recta or
a Recta Authorized Service Center (hereinafter Service
Center) will, at its sole discretion, remedy defects in
materials or workmanship free of charge either by
a) repairing, or b) replacing, or c) refunding, subject
to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warranty is only valid and enforceable in
the country of purchase, unless local law stipulates
otherwise.
Warranty Period
Limited lifetime warranty for field compasses. The
warranty period for the following parts of the field compasses (baseplate, capsule) is however limited to two
year.
To the extent your national laws permit, the Warranty
Period will not be extended or renewed or otherwise
affected due to subsequent resale, Recta authorized
repair or replacement of the Product. However, part(s)
repaired or replaced during the Warranty Period will be
warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty
Period or for three (3) months from the date of repair or
replacement, whichever is longer.
Exclusions and Limitations
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
1. a) normal wear and tear, b) defects caused by rough
handling, or c) defects or damage caused by misuse
contrary to intended or recommended use;
2. user manuals or any third-party items;
3. defects or alleged defects caused by the use with any
product, accessory, software and/or service not manufactured or supplied by Recta;
This Limited Warranty is not enforceable if item:
1. has been opened beyond intended use;
2. has been repaired using unauthorized spare parts;
modified or repaired by unauthorized Service Center;
3. serial number has been removed, altered or made
illegible in any way, as determined at the sole discretion
of Recta;
4. has been exposed to chemicals including but not
limited to mosquito repellents.
Recta does not warrant that the operation of the
Product will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the
Product will work with any hardware or software provided by a third party.

You must have proof of purchase to access Recta warranty service. For instructions how to obtain warranty
service, contact your local authorized Recta retailer or
distributor (www.recta.ch).
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable mandatory laws, this Limited Warranty is your sole and
exclusive remedy and is in lieu of all other warranties,
expressed or implied. Recta shall not be liable for special, incidental, punitive or consequential damages,
including but not limited to loss of anticipated benefits,
loss of data, loss of use, cost of capital, cost of any
substitute equipment or facilities, claims of third parties,
damage to property resulting from the purchase or use
of the item or arising from breach of the warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict tort, or any legal or
equitable theory, even if Recta knew of the likelihood
of such damages. Recta shall not be liable for delay in

Auszahlung es Kaufpreises für das Produkt nachbessert. Diese eingeschränkte Gewährleistung ist nur in
dem Land gültig und einklagbar, in dem das Produkt
erworben wurde, es sei denn, es gilt eine anderslautende lokale Gesetzgebung.
Gewährleistungszeit
Eingeschränkte lebenslange Gewährleistung für Feldkompasse. Die Gewährleistungszeit für die Bodenplatte
und die Kapsel des Feldkompasses ist jedoch auf zwei
Jahre beschränkt.
Im gesetzlich zulässigen Rahmen wird die Ge währleistungszeit nicht verlängert, erneuert oder anderweitig
durch Weiterveräußerung, durch von Recta autorisierte
Reparaturen oder durch Produktaustausch beeinflusst.
Für innerhalb der Gewährleistungszeit reparierte oder
ausgetauschte Teile gilt die restliche Gewährleistungszeit
oder eine Gewährleistungszeit von drei (3) Monaten ab
dem Zeitpunkt der Reparatur oder des Austauschs, je
nachdem, welcher Zeitraum länger ist.
Haftungsausschlüsse und
Haftungsbeschränkungen
Diese eingeschränkte Gewährleistung gilt nicht für:
1. a) normale Abnutzungserscheinungen, b) Schäden,
die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung entstanden
sind, und c) Schäden, die durch die missbräuchliche
Ver wendung des Produkts oder durch Nichtbeachten
der Nutzungshinweise entstanden sind;
2. Benutzerhandbücher oder andere Elemente anderer
Anbieter;
3. Schäden oder angebliche Schäden, die durch Verwendung oder Verbindung des Produkts mit Produkten,
Zubehörteilen, Software und/oder Serviceleistungen
ent standen sind, die nicht von Recta hergestellt oder
bereitgestellt wurden;
Diese eingeschränkte Gewährleistung ist nicht einklagbar, wenn das Gerät
1. abweichend vom vorgesehenen Gebrauch geöffnet
wurde;
2. mit nicht zugelassenen Ersatzteilen repariert bzw.
durch ein nicht autorisiertes Servicezentrum verändert
oder repariert wurde;
3. die Seriennummer auf irgendeine Weise entfernt,
verändert oder unleserlich gemacht wurde, wobei die
Entscheidung hierüber einzig im Ermessen von Recta
liegt;
4. das Produkt Chemikalien ausgesetzt war, einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf Insektenschutzmittel.
Recta kann nicht für Ausfallzeiten oder Störungen des
Produkts haftbar gemacht werden oder dafür, dass das
Produkt in Verbindung mit Soft- oder Hardware eines
anderen Anbieters nicht funktioniert.
Inanspruchnahme der Garantieleistungen
von Recta
Sie müssen im Besitz des entsprechenden Kaufbelegs
sein, um Garantieleistungen von Recta in Anspruch nehmen zu können. Falls Sie Informationen zur Inan spruchnahme von Garantieleistungen benötigen, wenden Sie
sich an Ihren lokalen Recta Händler oder Lieferanten
(www.recta.ch).
Haftungseinschränkung
Diese eingeschränkte Gewährleistung stellt im gesetzlich zulässigen Rahmen Ihr einziges und ausschließliches Rechtsmittel dar und ersetzt alle anderen
aus drücklichen oder impliziten Gewährleistungen.
Recta übernimmt keinerlei Haftung für besondere und
zusätzliche Schadensansprüche, Nebenschäden,
Buß zahlungen oder Folgeschäden, einschließlich,
jedoch nicht beschränkt auf den Verlust von erwarteten Gewinnen, Datenverlust, Nutzungsausfall, Kapitalaufwendungen, Kosten für Ersatzausrüstungen oder
-einrichtungen, Ansprüche Dritter, Sachschäden, die
sich aus dem Kauf oder Gebrauch des Produkts oder
aus einer Garantieverletzung, einem Vertragsbruch,
Fahrlässigkeit, Produktfehlern, unerlaubter Handlung
oder rechtlichen oder gesetzlichen Umständen ergeben,
auch wenn Recta von der Möglichkeit solcher Schäden
wusste. Recta haftet nicht für Verzögerungen bei der
Erbringung von Garantieleistungen.

GARANTIE LIMITÉE RECTA
Recta garantit que durant la période de garantie, Recta
ou un Centre de service après-vente agréé Recta
(appelé ci-après Centre de service) s’engage, à sa seule
discrétion, à remédier sans frais aux défauts des produits ou de fabrication, soit a) en réparant, soit b) en
remplaçant, ou encore c) en remboursant le produit,
conformément aux termes et aux conditions de cette
garantie limitée. Cette garantie limitée est valide et exécutoire uniquement dans le pays d’achat du produit,
sauf dispositions contraires de la législation locale.
Période de garantie
Garantie à vie limitée pour les boussoles mécaniques.
La période de garantie est cependant limitée à deux (2)
ans pour les éléments suivants (plaquette, capsule) des
boussoles mécaniques.
Dans les limites autorisées par les lois nationales, la
période de garantie ne sera pas prolongée ou renouvelée ou encore affectée par une revente ultérieure ou
par la réparation ou le remplacement du Produit autorisé par Recta. Toutefois la/les pièce(s) réparée(s) ou
le(s) produit(s) de remplacement durant la période de
garantie seront garantis soit pour la durée restante de
garantie initiale soit durant les trois (3) mois consécutifs
à la date de réparation ou de remplacement, en fonction
de la durée la plus longue.
Exclusions et limitations
Cette garantie limitée ne couvre pas :
1. a) l‘usure normale, b) les défauts résultant d‘une
manipulation sans soin ou c) des défauts ou des dommages résultant d‘une mauvaise utilisation ou d‘une
utilisation contraire à celle prévue ou recommandée ;
2. les manuels d‘utilisation ou les éléments tiers ;
3. les défauts ou défauts présumés consécutifs à
l‘utilisation avec tout autre produit, accessoire, logiciel
et/ou service non conçu ou fourni par Recta ;
Cette garantie limitée n‘est pas exécutoire si le produit :
1. a été ouvert hors de l‘utilisation prévue ;
2. a été réparé avec des pièces de rechange non autorisées ; modifié ou réparé par un Centre de service non
autorisé ;
3. a vu son numéro de série supprimé, altéré ou rendu
illisible de quelque manière que ce soit – cet acte sera
déterminé à la seule discrétion de Recta ;
4. a été exposé à des produits chimiques, incluant (mais
sans s‘y limiter) les anti-moustiques.
Recta ne garantit pas que le fonctionnement du Produit
sera exempt d‘erreur ou d‘anomalie ou qu‘il fonctionnera avec un logiciel ou du matériel informatique fourni
par un tiers.

Limitation de responsabilité
Dans les limites autorisées par les lois obligatoires applicables, cette Garantie limitée constitue votre seul et
exclusif recours, et remplace toute garantie, expresse
ou implicite. Recta ne saurait être tenue pour responsable des dommages spéciaux, indirects, punitifs ou
accessoires, y compris mais sans s‘y limiter, la perte de
bénéfices ou de profits anticipés, la perte de données,
la perte de l‘utilisation du produit, le coût du capital, le
coût de tout équipement ou moyen de substitution, les
plaintes déposées par des tiers, les dommages causés
à la propriété et résultant de l‘achat ou de l‘utilisation
du produit ou découlant du non-respect de la garantie,
du non-respect du contrat, d‘une négligence, d‘un tort
ou de toute théorie légale ou équitable, même si Recta
avait connaissance de l‘éventualité de tels dommages.
Recta ne saurait être tenue responsable des retards liés
à l‘exécution du service de garantie.

GARANZIA LIMITATA RECTA
Recta garantisce che, durante il Periodo di Garanzia,
Recta o un Centro di Assistenza Autorizzato Recta (di
seguito “Centro di assistenza”) provvederà, a propria
esclusiva discrezione, a eliminare eventuali difetti di
materiale o lavorazione gratuitamente tramite: a) riparazione, b) sostituzione oppure c) rimborso del prezzo
di acquisto, in base ai termini e alle condizioni della presente Garanzia Limitata. La presente Garanzia Limitata
è valida ed applicabile esclusivamente nel paese di
acquisto, salvo che la legislazione locale prescriva diversamente.
Periodo di Garanzia
Garanzia limitata a vita per bussole magnetiche Il periodo di garanzia per i seguenti componenti delle bussole
magnetiche (piastra di base, capsula) è comunque limitata a due anni.
Nella misura in cui la legge nazionale lo consente, il
Periodo di Garanzia non verrà esteso o rinnovato o in
altro modo modificato in seguito a successiva rivendita
oppure riparazione o sostituzione del Prodotto autorizzata da Recta. Tuttavia, le parti riparate o sostituite
durante il Periodo di Garanzia vengono garantite per il
restante Periodo di Garanzia originale o per tre (3) mesi
dalla data di riparazione o sostituzione, a seconda di
quale intervallo risulti più lungo.
Esclusioni e limitazioni
La presente Garanzia Limitata non copre:
1. a) normale usura, b) alterazioni dovute a incuria o
uso maldestro o c) alterazioni o danni causati da un uso
non corretto, ivi compreso l‘uso improprio rispetto alle
istruzioni fornite;
2. manuali dell‘utente o prodotti di terzi;
3. difetti o presunti difetti causati da eventuale utilizzo o
collegamento a qualsiasi prodotto, accessorio, software
e/o servizio non prodotto o fornito da Recta;
La presente Garanzia Limitata non è applicabile nei
seguenti casi:
1. se il prodotto è stato aperto per fini diversi da quelli
previsti;
2. se il prodotto è stato riparato utilizzando parti di
ricambio non omologate; modificato o riparato presso
un Centro di assistenza non autorizzato;
3. se il numero di serie è stato rimosso, alterato o reso
illeggibile in altro modo, cosa che verrà verificata ed
accertata da Recta a sua esclusiva discrezione;
4. se il prodotto è stato esposto a sostanze chimiche ivi
inclusi, a scopo esemplificativo e non limitativo, prodotti
antizanzare.
Recta non garantisce che il funzionamento del prodotto
sarà ininterrotto o privo di errori o che il prodotto funzionerà con altro hardware o software fornito da terzi.
Accesso al servizio di garanzia Recta
Per richiedere il servizio di garanzia Recta, è necessario fornire la prova d‘acquisto. Per istruzioni su come
richiedere ed ottenere il servizio di garanzia, contattare
il proprio rivenditore o distributore autorizzato Recta
(www.recta.ch).
Limitazione di responsabilità
Nella misura in cui ciò è consentito dalle leggi vigenti, la presente Garanzia Limitata è il solo ed esclusivo
rimedio a disposizione dell‘acquirente e sostituisce ogni
altra garanzia, espressa o implicita. Recta non può
essere ritenuta responsabile per danni speciali, incidentali, colposi e consequenziali, ivi compresi, a titolo
esemplificativo e non limitativo, mancati benefici previsti, perdita di dati, mancato utilizzo, costo del capitale,
costi per attrezzature o strumenti sostitutivi, reclami di
terzi, danni alla proprietà derivanti dall‘acquisto o uso
del prodotto o risultanti dalla violazione di garanzia o
contratto oppure causati da negligenza, responsabilità
oggettiva o altro mezzo giuridico, anche nel caso in cui
Recta fosse a conoscenza della probabilità di tali danni.
Recta non può essere ritenuta responsabile per ritardi
nell‘erogazione del servizio di garanzia.

GARANTÍA LIMITADA RECTA
Recta garantiza que, durante la vigencia de la garantía,
Recta o uno de sus centros de servicio técnico autorizados (en adelante, „centro de servicio técnico“) subsanarán, de la forma que consideren oportuna y sin
cargo alguno, cualesquiera desperfectos de materiales
o fabricación ya sea mediante a) la reparación, b) la
sustitución, o c) el reembolso, con sujeción a los términos y condiciones de la presente Garantía limitada. La
presente Garantía limitada sólo será válida y eficaz en el
país de compra del Producto, a no ser que la legislación
local estipule lo contrario.
Periodo de garantía
Garantía limitada durante toda la vida del Producto
en el caso de las brújulas de campo. Sin embargo, el
periodo de garantía para los componentes siguientes
de las brújulas de campo (placa de base, cápsula) está
limitado a dos años.
El periodo de garantía no se verá prorrogado, renovado ni afectado en forma análoga por las ventas subsiguientes que pudieren producirse, las reparaciones
llevadas a cabo por el servicio técnico autorizado Recta
o por la sustitución del Producto, salvo que las leyes
nacionales establezcan otra cosa. No obstante lo anterior, los componentes reparados o sustituidos durante
la vigencia del periodo de garantía estarán garantizados
durante el tiempo que reste de vigencia del periodo de
garantía originario, o, en su caso, durante los tres (3)
meses posteriores a la fecha de reparación o sustitución, si la vigencia de la garantía originaria concluyera
con anterioridad.
Exclusiones y limitaciones
La presente Garantía limitada no cubre:
1. a) el desgaste normal, b) los defectos causados por
un manejo poco cuidadoso, ni c) los defectos o daños
causados por un uso inadecuado o contrario al uso
recomendado o para el que fue concebido;
2. los manuales del usuario o artículos de terceros;
3. los daños o supuestos menoscabos ocasionados
como consecuencia de la utilización de productos,
accesorios, software y/o mantenimiento no realizado o
proporcionado por Recta;
La presente Garantía limitada no será de aplicación en
caso de que el artículo:
1. haya sido abierto más allá del uso para el que fue
concebido;
2. haya sido reparado utilizando recambios no autorizados; o bien, modificado o reparado por un centro de
servicio no autorizado;
3. cuando, a criterio de Recta, el número de serie haya
sido eliminado, alterado de cualquier otra forma, o
hubiere devenido ilegible;
4. hubiere sido expuesto a productos químicos, incluidos (entre otros) los repelentes de mosquitos.
Recta no garantiza el funcionamiento del Producto
sin interrupciones o errores repentinos en el mismo, ni
tampoco que el Producto funcione con cualquier otro
elemento de hardware o software proporcionado por
un tercero.
Acceso al servicio de garantía de Recta
Para acceder al servicio de garantía de Recta, es necesario presentar la prueba de compra. Para obtener
instrucciones acerca de cómo obtener el servicio de
garantía, póngase en contacto con su establecimiento
o distribuidor autorizado Recta (www.recta.ch).
Limitación de la responsabilidad
La presente garantía constituye su única garantía, en
sustitución de cualesquiera otras expresas o implícitas
y en todo caso dentro de los límites de la legislación
nacional aplicable. Recta no se hace responsable de
los daños especiales, accidentales, punitorios o consecuentes, incluidos a título meramente enunciativo
pero no limitativo, las pérdidas de beneficios esperados, pérdidas de datos, pérdidas de uso, costes de
capital, costes de sustitución de equipamientos o
instalaciones, reclamaciones de terceros, cualquier
daño causado en una propiedad como consecuencia de la compra o utilización del artículo, o derivada
del incumplimiento de las condiciones de la garantía,
incumplimiento contractual, negligencia, ilícito civil o
cualquier otra figura jurídica análoga y equivalente, aún
cuando Recta tuviera conocimiento de la posibilidad
de que tales daños pudieran producirse. Recta no se
hace responsable del retraso ocasionado en la prestación del servicio de garantía.

RECTA BEPERKTE GARANTIE
Recta garandeert dat Recta of een door Recta geautoriseerd servicecentrum (hierna servicecentrum)
gedurende de garantieperiode, ter eigen beoordeling,
defecten in materialen of uitvoering gratis zal herstellen door a) reparatie, b) vervanging of c) terugbetaling,
onderhevig aan de voorwaarden en condities van deze
beperkte garantie. Deze beperkte garantie is alleen geldig en uitvoerbaar in het land van aankoop, tenzij de
lokale wet dit anders bepaalt.
Garantieperiode
Beperkte levenslange garantie voor veldkompassen
De garantieperiode voor de volgende delen van de
veldkompassen (basisplaat, capsule) is echter beperkt
tot twee jaar.
In zoverre uw nationale wetten dat toestaan, zal de
garantieperiode niet worden verlengd of hernieuwd of
anderszins worden beïnvloed als gevolg van doorverkoop, een door Recta erkende reparatie of vervanging
van het product. Onderdelen die zijn gerepareerd of
vervangen tijdens de garantieperiode worden echter
wel gegarandeerd voor de resterende duur van de originele garantie of drie (3) maanden vanaf de reparatie
of vervangingsdatum, waarbij van de langste periode
wordt uitgegaan.
Uitsluitingen en beperkingen
Door deze beperkte garantie wordt niet gedekt:
1. a) normale slijtage, b) defecten die veroorzaakt zijn
door ruwe behandeling of c) defecten of schade die
veroorzaakt is door verkeerd gebruik in strijd met bedoeld of aanbevolen gebruik;
2. handleidingen of items van derden;
3. defecten of beweerde defecten die veroorzaakt zijn
door het gebruik met enig product, accessoire, software en/of service die niet gefabriceerd of geleverd is
door Recta;
Deze beperkte garantie is niet afdwingbaar als het item:
1. meer geopend is dan het bedoelde gebruik;
2. gerepareerd is met gebruik van niet geautoriseerde
reserveonderdelen; aangepast of gerepareerd is door
een niet geautoriseerd servicecentrum;
3. het serienummer verwijderd, gewijzigd of op enige
manier onleesbaar gemaakt is, zoals bepaald naar
goeddunken van Recta;
4. blootgesteld is aan chemicaliën, inclusief maar niet
beperkt tot insectenafweermiddel.
Recta garandeert niet dat het product ononderbroken
of zonder fouten zal werken, of dat het product zal werken in combinatie met enige hardware of software die
door een derde partij wordt geleverd.
Toegang tot de Recta-garantieservice
U moet een aankoopbewijs hebben voor toegang tot
de Recta-garantieservice. Voor instructies over het verkrijgen van de garantieservice neemt u contact op met
uw lokale geautoriseerde leverancier of distributeur zie
(www.recta.ch).
Beperking van aansprakelijkheid
Voor zover maximaal is toegestaan op grond van toepasselijk recht is deze garantie uw enige en exclusieve
rechtsmiddel en vervangt deze alle andere expliciete
of impliciete garanties. Recta kan niet aansprakelijk
worden gehouden voor bijzondere, incidentele of
gevolgschade of hoge schadevergoeding, waaronder,
maar niet beperkt tot, verlies van verwachte voordelen,
verlies van gegevens, kapitaalkosten, kosten van vervangende apparatuur of voorzieningen, claims van
derden, schade aan eigendommen als gevolg van de
aankoop of het gebruik van het item of als gevolg van
garantiebreuk, nalatigheid, benadeling of enige andere
wettelijke of gelijkwaardige en eerlijke theorie, zelfs als
Recta op de hoogte was van de kans op dergelijke
schade. Recta zal niet aansprakelijk zijn voor vertraging
bij het verlenen van garantieservice.
