CLV-AW9T
Operations Instructions
Installation:
Connect the supplied audio cables to the transmitters audio input jacks on the rear panel. Connect the other end to the sound source. Two inputs are provided to match various devices.
The 1/8" stereo phone jack requires 0.5 volt (RMS) input, and the phone jacks require 2 volt (RMS) for proper operation.
Connect the power cable to the connector on the rear panel, and plug it into a 115-volt AC wall socket. For 220 volt applications, contact Recoton customer service.
Operation:
1. Apply power and inputs as indicated above. The red indicator will illuminate.
2. For adjusting the modulation (sound quality), increase the audio level from the source until the green indicator flashes. This is the best level for sound fidelity. Further increases will result in distortion. There is an automatic limiter, which will protect the transmitter against improper emissions.
3. The unit has 3 frequencies, which are user selectable on the rear panel. This allows for multiple transmitter usage or to escape interference from another nearby unit.
4. If "dead spots" are noted, move the transmitter away from walls, computers, TV sets, etc a few feet.
5. In case of difficulty, contact Recoton Customer service at 1 800 RECOTON.
