IMPORTANTE
ITALIANO
Prima di collegare ed utilizzare la base microfonica, leggere attentamente le istruzioni contenute in
questo manuale, il quale è da conservare per riferimenti futuri. Il presente manuale costituisce parte
integrante del prodotto e deve accompagnare quest’ultimo anche nei passaggi di proprietà, per
permettere al nuovo proprietario di conoscere le modalità d’installazione e d’utilizzo e le avvertenze
per la sicurezza.
L’installazione e l’utilizzo errati del prodotto esimono RCF S.p.A. da ogni responsabilità.
AVVERTENZE PER LA SICUREZZA
1. Tutte le avvertenze, in particolare quelle relative alla sicurezza, devono essere lette con particolare
attenzione, in quanto contengono importanti informazioni.

Prima di accendere le apparecchiature, assicurarsi che tutte le connessioni siano corrette.
Non collegar
3. Accertarsi che il cavo della base microfonica non possa essere calpestato o schiacciato da
oggetti, al fine di salvaguardarne l’integrità.
4.
Non immergere la base microfonica nell’acqua (od in altri liquidi), non lanciarla, non lasciarla
cadere.
5. Non eseguire sulla base microfonica interventi / modifiche / riparazioni; contattare i centri di
assistenza autorizzati nel caso che non funzioni correttamente.
6. Nel caso che dalla base microfonica microfono provengano stranamente odori anomali od
addirittura fumo, spegnere immediatamente il sistema audio.

7. RCF S.p.A. raccomanda vivamente che l’installazione del sistema audio sia eseguita solamente da
installatori professionali qualificati (oppure da ditte specializzate) in grado di farla correttamente
e certificarla in accordo con le normative vigenti.

utto il sistema audio dovrà essere in conformità con le norme e le leggi vigenti in materia di
impianti elettrici.
Vi sono numerosi fattori meccanici ed elettrici da considerare quando si installa un sistema

audio professionale (oltre a quelli prettamente acustici, come la pressione sonora, gli angoli di
copertura, la risposta in frequenza, ecc.).

Non puntare la base microfonica verso un diffusore vicino, onde evitare un possibile innesco.
10. Perdita dell’udito
’esposizione ad elevati livelli sonori può provocare la perdita permanente dell’udito. Il livello di

pressione acustica pericolosa per l’udito varia sensibilmente da persona a persona e dipende
dalla durata dell’esposizione. Per evitare un’esposizione potenzialmente pericolosa ad elevati
livelli di pressione acustica, è necessario che chiunque sia sottoposto a tali livelli utilizzi delle
adeguate protezioni; quando si fa funzionare un trasduttore in grado di produrre elevati livelli
sonori è necessario indossare dei tappi per orecchie o delle cuffie protettive.

Per evitare che fenomeni induttivi diano luogo a ronzii, disturbi e compromettano il buon
funzionamento dell’impianto, il cavo della base microfonica non deve essere canalizzato insieme
ai conduttori dell’energia elettrica e/o alle linee dei diffusori acustici.
12. Collocare la base microfonica lontano da fiamme (o fonti di calore eccessivo). Non usare solventi,
alcool, benzina o altre sostanze volatili per la pulitura.

1. DESCRIZIONE E PANNELLO FRONTALE
BM 7001FM è una base microfonica per vigili del fuoco, appartenente al sistema RCF DXT 7000, da
utilizzarsi soprattutto (ma non solo) per annunci d’emergenza prioritari.
Include un microfono ad impugnatura di alta qualità con pulsante di attivazione, un tasto (rosso) per
annunci e 3 di allarme / funzione protetti da coperchi di sicurezza.
Il percorso del segnale audio interno è monitorato.

L’abilitazione per l’annuncio è data non appena il sistema è pronto; si accende la luce rossa del
tasto per annunci (3) ed il display indica:

Impugnare il microfono e tener premuto il suo pulsante di attivazione per parlare.
Nel caso di chiamata simultanea da più basi microfoniche, solo una sarà abilitata, mentre nelle altre
sarà indicato lo stato di occupato.
Al termine dell’annuncio, premere di nuovo il tasto per annunci (3) dopo aver sollevato il coperchio
di sicurezza: l’unità ed il sistema torneranno alla stato di attesa.

3. TASTI ALLARME / FUNZIONE
Ciascuno dei 3 tasti allarme / funzione (4a, 4b, 4c) può essere assegnato ad una delle seguenti
funzioni:
•
annunci selettivi;
•
l’invio (una sola volta o continuo) di un messaggio registrato verso una zona;
•
l’apertura dell’ingresso AUX IN (utilizzato da un lettore esterno) verso una zona con priorità;
•
attivazione (tenuta o ad impulso) di un’uscita di controllo.
3.1. ANNUNCI SELETTIVI
Premere il tasto programmato per questa funzione (4a, 4b, 4c) per iniziare l’annuncio verso la zona
predefinita.
3.2. RIPRODUZIONE MESSAGGI REGISTRATI
Le zone dove saranno inviati i messaggi sono state selezionate nella configurazione software.
Premere un tasto allarme / funzione (4a, 4b, 4c) al quale è stato assegnato un messaggio.
I messaggi possono essere singoli (inviati una solo volta) o continui:
•
quelli singoli saranno riprodotti interamente, perfino nel caso che il tasto sia nel frattempo stato
rilasciato;
quelli continui saranno riprodotti finché il tasto non sarà rilasciato.

3.3. ANNUNCI TRAMITE UN LETTORE AUDIO ESTERNO
COLLEGATO ALL’INGRESSO AUX IN
Dopo aver premuto il tasto allarme/ funzione (4a, 4b, 4c) dedicato, l’ingresso AUX IN è aperto.
Successivamente premere il tasto PLAY del lettore esterno; al termine dell’annuncio registrato,
premere il tasto STOP del lettore e rilasciare il tasto funzione / allarme.
3.4. ATTIVAZIONE DELLE USCITE DI CONTROLLO
I tasti allarme / funzione possono essere stati configurati per funzionare come comandi temporanei
(impulsi) od in modo bistabile (ON / OFF).
Esempio di comando temporaneo (funzione software: “control output, pulse”):
il primo tasto allarme / funzione (4a) è stato premuto:

IMPORTANT NOTES
Before connecting and using this paging microphone, please read this instruction manual carefully
and keep it on hand for future reference. The manual is to be considered an integral part of this
product and must accompany it when changing ownership as a reference for correct installation
and use as well as for the safety precautions.
RCF S.p.A. will not assume any responsibility for the incorrect installation and / or use of this
product.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. All the precautions, in particular the safety ones, must be read with special attention, as they
provide important information.
2. Make sure all connections have been made correctly before switching all devices on.
Do not connect / disconnect the paging microphone when the system is operating.
3. Protect the paging microphone cable from damage and assure it is positioned where it cannot be
stepped on or crushed by objects.
4. Do not put the paging microphone into water (or another liquid), do not throw it, do not let it fall
down.
5. Never attempt to carry out any operations, modifications or repairs.
If the paging microphone does not work properly, contact your authorized service centre.
6. Should the paging microphone emit any strange odour or even smoke, turn the sound system off
immediately.
7. RCF S.p.A. strongly recommends the sound system installation is only made by professional
qualified installers (or specialised firms), who can certify it according to the regulations in force.
The entire audio system must comply with the current standards and regulations regarding electrical
systems.
8. There are numerous mechanical and electrical factors to be considered when installing a
professional audio system (in addition to those which are strictly acoustic, such as sound pressure,
angles of coverage, frequency response, etc.).
9. Do not point the microphone at near loudspeakers, in order to avoid feedback.
10. Hearing loss
Exposure to high sound levels can cause permanent hearing loss. The acoustic pressure level that
leads to hearing loss is different from person to person and depends on the duration of exposure.
To prevent potentially dangerous exposure to high levels of acoustic pressure, anyone who is
exposed to these levels should use adequate protection devices. When a transducer capable of
producing high sound levels is being used, it is therefore necessary to wear ear plugs or protective
earphones.
11. To prevent inductive effects from causing hum, noise and a bad system operating, paging
microphone cables should not be laid together with other electric cables (mains) and loudspeaker
lines.
12. Keep the paging microphone far from any excessive heat source. Do not use solvents, alcohol,
benzene or other volatile substances for cleaning the external parts.

not only) for emergency calls with high priority.
It has a high quality hand-held microphone with a ‘Push To Talk’ button, a paging and 3 alarm /
function buttons protected by safety covers.
Its critical signal path is monitored.

As soon as the system is ready for paging, the red light of the paging button (3) will turn on and the
display will show:

Remove the microphone from its holder, then push and hold its ‘Push To Talk’ button to talk.
In case of simultaneous calls from 2 or more paging microphones, only 1 is enabled, while the busy
state is indicated on the other unit(s).
Lift the paging button safety cover (3) up and push the button (3) again (release) to stop paging: the
system and all paging microphones turn to the idle state.

3. ALARM / FUNCTION BUTTONS
Each of the 3 alarm buttons (4a, 4b, 4c) can be set to 1 of the following functions in the configuration
software:
•
Selective paging.
•
A pre-recorded message play (once only or continuous) to a zone.
•
Open the AUX IN (used by an external player), routed to a zone with priority.
•
Control output activation (hold or impulse).
3.1. SELECTIVE PAGING
Push the assigned button (4a, 4b, 4c) to start the announcement to the predefined zones.
3.2. PRE-RECORDED MESSAGE PLAY
Zones where messages are played are set in the software configuration.
Push an alarm / function key (4a, 4b, 4c) to which a message has been assigned.
Messages can be either single (played once only) or continuous:
•
Singles messages will be played completely, even if the button has been released in the
meantime.
Continuous messages will be played until the button is released.

3.3. ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM AN AUXILIARY EXTERNAL
PLAYER CONNECTED TO AUX IN
After pushing the assigned alarm / function button (4a, 4b, 4c), the AUX IN input gets open.
Then push the PLAY key of the connected external player; when the recorded announcement ends,
push the player STOP key and release the alarm / function button.
3.4. CONTROL OUTPUT ACTIVATION
Alarm / function buttons can be configured as either temporary commands (impulses) or toggles
(ON / OFF).
Example of temporary command (software function: ‘control output, pulse’):
The first alarm / function button (4a) has been pushed:
